This is basically the best government college to study, having great infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Around 90 percent of students were placed in my course every year. The highest package was 48 LPA, and the lowest was 2 LPA. It goes on an average of 5-6 LPA every year. Many companies like Cognizant and TCS are top recruiters of my course. 80% of students get internships in companies like TCS and Cognizant as Graduate Engineer Trainees (GET), Network Engineering, Software Engineering, etc.

Good for core enthusiasts.

Placements: The placements at my college are average. Despite what they say on their website and in person, the placements are mediocre at best. Last year, the best placements were in metallurgy and core branches, with an average package of 9-11 LPA. Non-core companies offered very low salaries, averaging 4-5.5 LPA. Students who found jobs on their own should give credit to the college for providing the resources to help them succeed.

VSSUT is really a great university.

Placements: Placements for core branches are best in VSSUT. Here, the mechanical branch gets the highest number of placements, with an average salary of 6 to 8 lakhs per annum. Out of 120 students, almost 110 students get placed every year in on-campus placements. And the highest package goes up to 17 to 18 lakhs.

Come to learn, live to grow, and leave to serve.

Placements: Before joining this college, I heard a lot of things like the oldest engineering college in Odisha. It is one of the best engineering colleges for core subjects. There is no doubt that it is a very good college. It is very behind from the spot where it should be now. The placement cell is newly made and well-maintained from inside to outside. But unfortunately, it was terrible for last year's branch. Almost 65% of students from our branch got placed. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, et...

You can join the college without any hesitation.

Placements: Around 75-80% students get placement. All deserving candidates generally get placed in the final year. Besides, the college provides enough exposure to the outer job market so that students feel confident during job interviews and perform well. Many companies come to recruit candidates such as Infosys, Tata Power, etc.
