On JEE Main Cutoffs

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2022.
Placements: There are 70 to 80 percent of students placed. The average package offered was 3 to 5 LPA. Recruiting companies are Tata Motors, Tech Mahindra, Cummins, and for other courses, there are Eaton, TCS, Emerson, Honeywell, etc. 60 to 70 percent of students got internships in Tata Motors and Cummins. Top roles offered by companies are Mechanical Design Engineer, Project Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Material Engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Many facilities are available in the department, such as Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, labs with all equipment, and a library with various books. You can also take books home for study with zero charge. The hostel is also good. The quality of food in the mess and canteen is good. They maintain hygiene. Medical facilities are available. Many sports equipment and sports grounds are available.
Faculty: All teachers are highly educated and qualified with lots of knowledge. All teachers are helpful, lovable, and also strict. They organize weekly different curriculum activities. It helps a lot to make students ready for the industry. The semester exams are tough for getting high scores, but easy to pass. In the written exam, you have to get 40 out of 100. Overall, you have to get all credits in all subjects.
Other: This course is very skillful. That's why I chose it, and my mathematics was a little bit good. Many events are organized in college, all organized by our seniors. All faculty members are guests in every event. They watch and enjoy.

Navsahyadri Institute of Pharmacy: What You Need to Know Before Applying
Placements: The college provides on-campus placements with various companies like TCS and CIPLA as recruiters. The average package is 3 lakh per annum, and the highest package is 5 lakh per year for on-campus placements. Roughly 20 percent of students secure placement through on-campus opportunities.
Infrastructure: The college has its hostel on campus. The hostel fee is 35,000 per year and includes facilities such as free Wi-Fi, grounds, and purified water. The quality of the mess is not very good. The college has an omni van for hostel students in case of a medical emergency. Hostel students are provided with sports equipment such as bats, balls, and volleyball.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, holding M.Pharmacy and Ph.D. qualifications. They are helpful and friendly. Students must complete an internship after the 6th semester. There are two sessional exams for both theory and practical subjects at intervals of two months from the start of the college, followed by end-semester examinations. Roughly 10 students fail in the exams.
Other: I chose B Pharmacy because I believe it has great future potential and scope, allowing me to contribute to society. College fests such as Navrudra and Antrang are conducted in February or March, where Marathi celebrities are guests.

Good teaching staff with experience.
Placements: No placements or internships are provided. Students take internships from outside the campus. Students are placed in various companies outside the campus. An internship was done at the end of the 3rd year for 1 month and it was compulsory for every student.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi has been provided to pharmacy college. Class room labs are best provided with board. Hostel rooms are good, but the mess was not good. Medical facilities for girls are provided. Sports like kabaddi, khokho, cricket, badminton, chess, and dodge ball are held.
Faculty: Teachers were well qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable. Yes, the course is curriculum-relevant. Industrial visits are there in the second year. There are 8 semesters with 16 sessions, 8 semester examinations, and 3 continuous assessment tests.

Absolutely happy because of our college environment and staff.
Placements: Almost all of the students in our course were placed in jobs, with the top companies being TCS, Cipla, Mankind Pharma, Nutriglobe Organic, and Hindustan Antibiotics. The remaining students started their own businesses, such as pharmacies and wholesale pharmacies.
Infrastructure: The facilities available in our course are the best. The teachers cover each and every topic and provide an in-depth understanding of the subject matter. The labs are well-equipped with all the necessary equipment and apparatus required for practicals. The classrooms are also well-equipped and conducive to learning.
Faculty: The teachers at my college are helpful and qualified, and their knowledge level is excellent. They teach each and every topic with full description and are always willing to answer questions. The semester exams are challenging, but I am confident that I will pass.
Other: I chose pharmacy because the opportunities in this field have grown since the pandemic. My college offers a variety of opportunities for students, including technical events like Avishkar, annual cultural events like dance, singing, and drama, and sports activities. Scholarships are available for OBC, ST, SC, and EWS students.

Focus on its unique qualities, such as campus culture, academic programs
Placements: 30 to 40 % students are get placed per year in our college. 4 lakh per annum and 2.3 lakh is the lowest package and AVG 3 lakh per annum package is provided by the college placement. Murli Krishna, Serum such companies are recruiting for our course. All students get internships in our college. Such companies are Serum, Sun Pharma, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is best for the nature surrounding. Labs are fulfilled with chemicals in our college. The labs and classrooms are clean and neat fulfilled with projectors and much more facilities. In the library, the AC hall is available and all types of books are available.
Faculty: The teachers are much more helpful in the difficulties about our study doubts. Some teachers have PhDs and some have degrees of M Pharm with the best experience. The teaching quality is much sufficient as we need. The semester exams are very difficult but college holds it very properly by its way. And 100% result is provided by our college because of sufficient teaching and clearing doubts by the teaching faculty.

Satisfied with faculty and infrastructure .
Placements: When it comes to placements that the college provides to students, it is not that great. The college's online website shows 70-80% placement offers, but the reality is different. Most students go for off-campus placements as they offer better packages than those of on-campus placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the B Pharmacy department is quite impressive. They keep all the classrooms, laboratories, and seminar halls clean and well-organized. For teaching purposes, projectors are frequently used, which helps make learning more interesting. Hostels are fine; they provide rectors on each hostel's ground floor, and the cleaning staff keeps all the surrounding areas clean. However, the mess's lunch and breakfast are sometimes too oily.
Faculty: The faculty of this college is great as they provide quality education. Most of the teaching staff have done their Ph.D. from recognized universities; however, some of them have completed their M Pharmacy. Still, they try hard to give us the best knowledge possible. The teaching methods of the staff are excellent.
Other: I was always interested in taking something related to medical courses, and after I got clarity about this 4-year B Pharmacy course, I started developing an interest as the field is related to medicine, its manufacturing, etc. Moving on to the events and fests conducted by the college, they are mostly held in January-February of the year. Overall, the organization of these fests is fabulous.
