Nazareth College of Arts and Science (NCAS) is an affiliated institute of University of Madras (UNOM). The institute was established in 2000 and has been NAAC-accredited with Grade ‘B’. The college functions in two shifts including day and evening.  NCAS offers a total of five UG and four PG courses in various fields of Science, Humanities, Commerce and many more.

NCAS offers nine courses at UG and PG level in various specialisations. Admission cycle of the institute usually commences in June in accordance to University of Madras. NCAS UG Admission 2021

NCAS offers UG programmes including BSc, BCom, BA, BCA and BBA of three-year duration. Some of the UG courses including BCom (General), BBA, BSc (Computer Science) and BCA is also offered in evening shift. Admission to all UG programmes including evening shift is based on aggregate obtained by a candidate in Class 12. A brief overview of NCAS UG courses is given below:

NCAS Admission 2021: BSc, BCom, BA

NCAS offers BSc, BCom and BA programme of three-year duration in three, two and one specialisations, respectively. Candidates willing to seek admission in any of three below-mentioned courses are evaluated based on merit of previous qualifying exam. Shortlisted candidates are allotted seats based on an institute-level personal interview round.

NCAS Admission 2021: BCA, BBA

Apart from the above-mentioned UG courses, NCAS offers three-year BCA and BBA programme. Interested applicants in any of the two below-mentioned UG programmes are shortlisted based on minimum eligibility criteria. Eligible candidates are then called for an institute-level interview round. The minimum eligibility requirement for BCA and BBA programme is tabulated below:

NCAS PG Admission 2021

At PG level, NCAS offers four two-year programmes including MSc, MA, MCom and MSW in various specialisations. MSc in Computer Science is also offered by NCAS in evening shift. Candidates willing to seek admission to any of these PG programmes are evaluated based on aggregate obtained by a candidate in bachelor’s degree followed by an interview round.

NCAS Admission 2021: MSc, MA

NCAS MSc and MA admission is based on merit of previous qualifying exam followed by an interview round conducted by the institute. These programmes are of two-year duration and are offered with one specialisation each as mentioned in the table below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of NCAS (www.ncas.in). On its homepage, click on ‘Apply Now’

Step 2: If you wish to seek admission to UG course, tap the first available link else proceed with second link if you are a PG aspirant

Step 3: Register yourself by addressing the details including your mobile number, date of birth and email ID. Your email ID will serve as your user name. Create an alpha-numeric password for future logins. Hit ‘Register’ once done

Step 4: Sign in to your account by filling your user name and password. Further, hit ‘Sign in’ to proceed to application form filling

Step 5: Complete your three-step application form. In its first step, add your course specification, personal information and bank details

Step 6: In the second section of your application form, add your residential address details

Step 7: In the third and final section of your application form, add your academic qualifications and other achievements (if any). Hit Submit’ button once you have filled the NCAS application form

Step 8: Conclude the application form by making a payment of Rs 1,000 as an application fee through debit card/ credit card/ net banking
