Our college provided good infrastructure.

Faculty: Our teachers were good. They were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course made students industry-ready. Semester exams were difficult, but internal exams were easy. Our teachers provided all suggestions for exams. The pass percentage was 40%.

Netaji Nagar Day College is one of the best colleges in south Kolkata for English Honours.
Placements: There are about 60 students in English honours. As it is a typical government college, there are no direct placements for students from the college. Companies come here basically with jobs in sales, and students of all the departments could participate in the interviews.
Infrastructure: Our college is very tidy and well-maintained. The washrooms are clean and have proper plumbing. There's no Wi-Fi for students but only for computers. The library has a sufficient number of books for all streams and also computers with Wi-Fi access. There's no hostel facility, and the campus is small with no ground. But the student body arranges several indoor and outdoor sports every year on the nearby ground.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and very student-friendly and provide all types of support to students. Studying English honours is only relevant if you are aiming for a job as a teacher. The semester exams are quite difficult as they are conducted by Calcutta University, but with the help of our faculty, I was able to pass all the semester exams with more than 70% marks. The average percentage is about 50-60%.

I am satisfied with the faculty members.
Placements: There were no specific placements for the English honors course in the college. Students could get various jobs from anywhere. There were no specific salary packages offered. One could apply to many companies. There were private companies for their content writing jobs. There were no such campuses near the college, where placements for English honors students were arranged by Presidency University and J.U.
Infrastructure: The English department didn't need a lab and one should not hope for air-conditioned classrooms. There was no hostel. There was no Wi-Fi. A good library was available.
Faculty: English department had some of the best faculty members. This was not a course to make students industry-ready. English honors students could get jobs in administrative services, content creation, publishing, etc. English honors was a very difficult stream. The English department had very good faculty members. They were so helpful. In particular, our HOD was excellent.
Other: It is an average college affiliated with Calcutta University. The NAAC grade was B+. They arranged college fests, freshers' parties, annual sports, and other departmental and college programs.

From 2nd semester, students became eligible for campus placements.
Placements: In our college, there is no guarantee for placement.
Infrastructure: Every student of the college is entitled to use the college library. Students are issued with 'Library Cards' for this purpose. The transfer of library cards is illegal. In case of loss or stealing, the bearer has to apply for a new card at the cost of Rs 50. A student is entitled to keep a book with him/her for a period of 30 days and not more than that.
Faculty: All teachers are very helpful, well educated, and qualified. The teaching quality of every teacher is very good and understandable. They all are very supportive and caring. Semester exams are not difficult.
Other: The offered courses are B.A. English honours, History Hons. Geography Hons. B. Com Accounts Hons, Economics Hons, Costing and taxation Hons, B.Sc. Math Hons, Management and Business administration, Media, Mass Communication, and Journalism.

Very good government college. If you are not so financially strong you can definitely join.
Placements: There are higher chances of placements in many good companies and here the education level is pretty good. Most of the MNCs visit here for on-campus hiring. As per my knowledge, 75% of students got placements. Before the last semester's exam, the placements take place and students are placed as per their skills.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite well. All the places like campus, canteen area, and classrooms are maintained neat and clean and hygienic. The college is not spread over a large area but the infrastructure is quite good. Classes and corridors are spacious and large.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Here the semester system has been applied and you have to attend the examination after 6 months and there are also some surprise tests before these exams. The courses are also good and exams are not too hard and rather easy, and so the papers are moderate too.
Other: You might say that it is a value for money as it is a government college, so fees are not too high. Many events are organised every month.
