Honest review of Netaji Subhas University, Jamshedpur.
Placements: Around 10% of students in my batch were placed through campus recruitment. The highest package offered in our course was INR 6 lakh per annum and the lowest package offered was INR 1.5 lakh per annum. The average package offered to BCA students was INR 2-3 lakhs per annum. Some of the top recruiting companies for the BCA course are TATA, WIPRO, INFOSYS and some local companies. Approximately 40% of students from the BCA course were able to secure internships. Internships were mostly offered by local companies. Some of the top roles offered to BCA graduates include software developer, system analyst, data analyst, and backend developer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available for students, even in labs. Classrooms are decent and air conditioners are available in every classrooms. The library is available during college time and all books are available in the library. The hostel facility is very bad. They charge 80,000 per year for the hostel and mess food is very bad in taste and no medical facility is available; even transport facilities are not available for hostelers. The college grounds are available for sports and Gym is also available but only 5-7 p.m. The important point is that the hostel is located far from the market and railway station.
Faculty: The relationship between faculty and students is not that special but it is good and it is also easy to approach them. Teaching quality is average because most of the faculties are only MCA graduates. Yes, course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry ready but because of bad teaching quality, it makes the syllabus hard to understand. Semester exams are very tough in this college but the pass percentage is 70-80%.
Other: I chose this course under the pressure of parents and this college needs a lot of improvement, like first of all, the environment here will have to be changed and the teachers should be appointed with higher qualifications, not just MCA passouts. Freshers party, annual function, teachers day, Bollywood night and many other events happen here, which are not that good.

Dissatisfied with management, giid faculty members, good placements previous year.
Placements: The placement cell works efficiently to provide placement opportunities to every student. If you are eligible, then you get placed. Almost every student got placed last year. Talking about my batch, all students got internships at good companies. Top companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are decent, and AC is installed in every class. There's no Wi-Fi facility for students in college, but in the hostel, you will get it. There are two computer labs provided for our course, and there's always a lab teacher to direct you if needed. I recommend not joining the hostel because this college provides transport services without any extra charges. So, I think it's better to stay in the city instead of the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty are good. They are highly educated and supportive too; if you face any problem, they will help you. Their teaching skills are professional (they make every point easily understandable). The syllabus is in line with present trends, meaning that by following the syllabus, one can become industry-ready easily.

Placements: The average salary for a BCA graduate is between 2.5 and 4 LPA. The companies that come to our college for placements are TK Infotechs and TCS. The top roles offered in our courses are software developer and web designer.
Infrastructure: The canteen is good, but it is not very spacious and gets very crowded during breaks. However, the food is quite good for the price.
Faculty: The teachers are young and very interactive. The curriculum is very relevant to the field we are going to be working in. The semester exams are not very tough, and almost everyone passes.
Other: I chose this course because of its demand rise and interest in recent days. Events and festivals are not really there in my college. Fests rarely happen.

The hostel facility is great for all departments.
Placements: The overall placement percentage is above 70% across all departments. In our BCA course, the top recruiters are Infosys and Tech Mahindra. The highest package till now from BCA is 5.5 LPA, and the lowest package was around 2.2 LPA. Our placement process will start soon. The placement department of our college helps to get us internships and jobs in the last semester.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not bad. Free Wi-Fi is available on the computers in our practical labs. The library is good, and there are a lot of books available. As a hosteller, I am very happy with the facilities provided by our college. The roommates are also very good. The food quality and price are good.
Faculty: All of our faculty members are very helpful and supportive. They teach us very well, and they also help us to clear our doubts. The syllabus is completed on time, and they also provide some practice sets before exams. Most of the students clear the exams if they prepare properly. The course and the subjects are relevant to the current scenario.

Our college has good infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: Almost 50% of students got placed in our course in companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The average salary package offered ranges between 4 LPA - 5 LPA. Around 30-40% of students got internships from our course. Top roles offered are front-end developer and data entry operator.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. Labs are excellent. Classrooms are equipped with air-conditioners. The library has many books. They provide facilities like a football court, cricket pitch, volleyball court, basketball court, and badminton court. Many tournaments are held in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum makes students ready for industry. Semester exams are easy to pass. Regular students can score good marks. Almost 90% of students pass exams.
Other:
I opted for this course because of my interest in it. This course provides good job opportunities. Many events and fests are held in our college.

A good and low fee college.
Placements: Netaji Subhash University is good college for management courses. Almost 60-70 of students get placed every year with a good package of all departments. And from few years a rapid growth has been seen in placement. The highest package offered is about 8-9Lpa and the median is like 3-5 LPA. Almost all good companies visits our college to hier students and offered them good package. Companies like Puma, ceat, Wipro, cognizant, tcs and etc. Have visited the college as recruiters. Our college offers our students a good opportunity to use their skills in between the course. In terms of providing internships our college is also good. Companies like Phn, php Deloitte etc. Are there for providing internships.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is nice in this budget. NSU provides almost all facilities required for a student. All the study materials are available in library. But there is no fest, events. As per fee hostel is also good. But in summers light disturbance can be seen. Hostels mess food is average and not so good in taste.
3 seater room is provided. Hostel is fully installed with Wi-Fi. There is a huge ground and playing area provided for the hostelers.
Faculty: Teachers are very good but not that skilled. They assists us in almost all situations if the students behaves good. Some of the teachers don't have that much of deep knowledge which is a drawback. Teaching quality is overall fair. Course curricular is relevant. College makes a student industry ready if the student follows the college properly. Semester exams are not that tough if you study well. Almost 80% students gets passed.
Other: Teaching quality can be improved. And for entertainment should organised by the college.
