I would not recommend students to take admission in it.
Placements: Around 18% of students were placed in this course. There was no average package, and no company came to hire students, not even the worst companies came to recruit. There were no students who got internships. Some students searched for paid internships themselves, but cannot expect top roles when there were just 3-4 teachers to teach all the subjects in the course.
Infrastructure: There was a good computer laboratory, and an average LAN internet. The classrooms were good, clean, and large. The library was average, but no books were available outside of the syllabus. I was a day scholar, so I do not know about hostel facilities, but I heard that the food was not good.
Faculty: Teachers were qualified in education and tried to help students, but they were not qualified to teach and make them learn. I would rate it 2 out of 5. The course curriculum was relevant but students from our college did not get industry-ready. Semester exams were average difficult, but since teaching quality was not good so pass percentage was under 10%.
Other: I am a tech enthusiast and I love computers so I decided to go for computer engineering. The best thing about the course is that students get to know about how computer systems work. Reducing non-related subjects would be better for the course. One or two such events were held in this college.

NETES Mirza is under Nemcare Group of Institions.
Placements: The placements are good on the campus. Every year, our students got selected in many companies like HP, BSNL, Airtel, TCL, etc., with good salary package. The placement depends on your skills, so don't worry about it. Try to improve your soft skills, and you'll crack it.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good on the campus. The campus is one of the largest among the private colleges in Assam. There is a large playground for outdoor games. The campus is full of greenery, and it is quiet and peaceful. The canteen is also available on the campus. There is a big library, where every kind of book is available.
Faculty: The faculty members are great, friendly, kind, and they are good at teaching. They'll help you whenever you've any doubts. The laboratories are good. You'll find everything here to experiment. The lab assistant is well-skilled and kind, and they'll help you on your projects.

Proud to be a part of NITS Mirza family.
Placements: The placement cell is average. The placement cell is headed by Mr Rupam Nath. This year 3-4 companies visited the campus. However, many didn't appear for the interviews because the companies are offering low CTC. Selected candidates will soon be placed in various parts of the country at various posts by the companies.
Infrastructure: All the classrooms have projector facilities for interactive learning. The computer lab has around 50 computers with access to 24/7 high-speed internet. The mechanical and electrical lab has sophisticated machines and electrical & electronics equipment for learning purpose. The lab can be accessed by the students all the time.
Faculty: The faculty staff has around 50 faculty members with 10-12 faculty members for each branch (ME, EEE, ECE and CSE). The faculty members are very friendly and caring. They extend their helping hands whenever we need any assistance regarding our studies. Our course curriculum is very well-prepared with a view to cover all the aspects of electrical and electronic engineering. Our college offers summer and winter internships at some leading PSU's like OnGC, Power Grid, NEEPCO etc.
Other: The name of the techno-cultural festival of our college is Sastricas and is organized by the final year student every year in April with the assistance from college management. Various events like sports, gaming, drama, music, dance competitions are held during the festival. At the end of the festival, on the eve, DJ night and open dancing events are also held. Students from other colleges are also welcome to take part in the events.

Disappointed because of management and placements
Placements: In my batch, the placement is zero and in senior batches, there were 3 or 5 placements but the company was fake. Overall, there is no placement here. Every semester, the placement officer is changed but there is no use as not a single company visits, so poor placement facilities. Students have to search for jobs on their own. There is no internship from the college side and ultimately, students got no stipend.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility. labs are okay but we cannot use the computer lab because, most of the days in the month, there are online exams like entrance exams, online job interviews, etc. so it is used mostly by outsiders than students. The classroom, the library and medical facilities are somewhat okay but you will not get all the book available in the library of your course, if by luck any book is available, you will get 1 or 2 copies. There is a field for sports but the authority didn't allow us to organize the sports week, only cows are allowed to graze there. The food in the canteen is good and hostel rooms are perfect.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and helpful. But they didn't last long here. Freshers of B.Tech/M.Tech joined the College and left after 1 or 2 semesters after having their experience. The teaching method here is totally theoretical and the student-faculty ratio is 3:2. There is no industry exposure. Some parts of the course curriculum are useful and some are totally a waste of time.
Other: The management is pathetic here as they just understand their own benefit and nothing else. They have a rough behaviour with students and parents and don't give attention to your complaints. They need money on time but no service on time. Marks are not fairly distributed and the examination cell operation is very poor. The principal is good but he cannot do much because of management. There is no funding for extracurricular activities.

Other: An average college for Engineering. Lovely environment. Wonderful locality. I got admitted in this college in 2009. Being the pioneer batch of the college, we had to compromise many facilities which my friends are getting in other college. But one thing I have to admit about the special GATE classes. Superb teacher. Super class for it. About placement, being the pioneer, we suffered the most. A few just got through campus.
