NIEIT college's honest review.
Placements: So, our college has a good placement. 11 LPA is the average package and 56 LPA is the highest package from our college. Many good companies like Microsoft, Adobe, BMW, and Cisco came into our college last year. Most of the students get placed in a company and there are many internship opportunities at our college.
Infrastructure: If we talk about facilities, they are good and most of them are PhD holders. The hostel and library are good; if we talk about infrastructure, it is quite good. The hostel has Wi-Fi facilities, and the classroom is also good, with a projector in each class. Sports facilities are also good; you can play nearly all sports.
Faculty: If we talk about teacher qualifications, most of them are Ph.D. holders. Teachers are supportive, too. Our course covers all the things that an industry needs from a person. I will say the difficulty level is between moderate and hard and a student must score at least 40% to pass the semester exam.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in stuff like coding. The best thing about the course is that it is easy for me and you will learn stuff like problem solving within a short period of time. I wish that if campus is big, then we can have a good campus life. Events are conducted frequently and if we talk about fests, they are rarely conducted. The campus surrounding them is good, and scholarships are provided based on your exam score.

Is it worth to join NIEIT Mysore for engineering!
Placements: Almost every student got placed in very good companies, like Z-Scale. The highest package was 46 lacs per annum. Z-Scaler is the top recruiting company. Almost every hard-working student gets an internship in the fifth semester of their college. It is also very good as it supports them financially as well as giving them experience.
Infrastructure: The labs are well maintained and there is a proper facility for everything necessary for a student. The infrastructure is also pretty good. Classrooms are spacious. The hostel is decent and you can lead a good life here, making new memories to cherish for life.
Faculty: Teachers are decent. They will guide you whenever you need guidance. They are decently qualified. The curriculum is well designed, keeping in mind the current needs of the market and industry. The difficulty of semester exams is moderate.

Pros and cons of NIE. Should you consider it!
Placements: Due to recession, fewer students are being placed now. The highest package was 28 LPA, and the lowest was 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are CISCO, L&T, etc. 60–70% students got internships. The top role offered is SDE. Overall, the placement is good if you work hard .
Infrastructure: A high-speed internet connection is available in the A block hostel but not in the B and C blocks. The food quality is okay. Breakfast and dinner are tasty. At lunch, you'll get dry rotis to eat. Hostel infrastructure is above average but college infrastructure is way below average .
Faculty: Most of the teachers here are graduates of this college only. The semester exams will go well if you start studying seriously before one week of exams. The exams are not so difficult. The passing criteria is 40%. Exams are easy; you don't need to worry.
Other: Join this college if you get it through KCET. Fees are too high for COMEDK .

NIE Mysore computer science course review.
Placements: The placements at this college are good. Almost 92% of students were placed in our branch. The top recruiting companies were Microsoft, Cisco, JP Morgan and TCS. The highest package was 54 lakh, and the average package for our branch was 11.4 lakh, while the lowest was 4.6 lakh.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure inside the college is nice (covered with trees and plants). The campus is clean. Our college has a library (both digital and physical), which has over 1000 books. Labs are highly equipped and developed. Hostels are the only bad part of this college. The food is not good at all. The washrooms are never clean. Rooms are very small. It is better to take a PG rather than stay in college.
Faculty: Teachers and staff members are very friendly and helpful. They teach very well and they try their best to make us understand the concepts. Our curriculum is quite old. It is an outdated curriculum. Internals in this college are very easy, while the semester exams are averagely difficult. Overall, everyone passes the tests and exams.
Other: I chose CSE because of two things: 1. I like coding. 2. The placement of CSE is quite good. Hostels are a big problem at this college. The language barrier will be another obstacle, as half of the students speak Hindi while half speak Kannada. Events and fest happen in even semesters. The fests are average. But our college hosts a number of exciting and informative events. Our college hosts a teaching event called ONNYX, which is fantastic event. No scholarships are provided by the college. Some scholarships are provided by the government to only Karnataka students. Our college offers a lot of opportunities in sports. We have our own cricket, football and basketball grounds. We also have an indoor stadium that has 5–6 badminton courts and table tennis courts. We get to participate in inter-Mysore and VTU sports competitions.

Review on NIEIT College formerly Know as NIE NORTH Mysuru.
Placements: So, basically, I am a CSE-pursuing student at Nieit Mysuru, and talking about the placement, it's pretty decent. The college has a dedicated placement cell that helps students prepare for the placement process by conducting mock interviews, resume-building workshops, and career counselling sessions. In the years 21–22, 190 students were registered and 154 companies were visited, out of which 202 offers were given to students. Some of the top recruiters that have visited Niet College are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant, and IBM. The average salary offered was around INR 4-5 LPA, and the highest package offered was around INR 14 LPA.
Infrastructure: Talking about the hostel, you won't find any difficulty living here; the rooms are well planned and spacious, with plenty of air and sunlight. All the basic facilities are provided. No issues with electricity or water. Students can leave here with great comfort. The hostel staff is very polite and responsive towards every issue, and there's an ambulance on campus for any kind of emergency. The mess/canteen food is overall average. Also, there's a cricket ground, a volleyball court, and a basketball court, and students are encouraged in every aspect by the faculty.
Faculty: The faculty over here is well trained and skilled. Most of them are Ph.D. holders in their respective fields. The curriculum overall is well maintained from the student's perspective. And talking about the conduct of exams, there will be three internal assessments (IAs) in one semester along with some assignments and project work. The faculty here are very polite towards students. For NIEIT college, the semester exams are held by VTU, where NIEIT merged with NIE (main campus) last year and is hence recognised as NIE North from now on and is now an autonomous college.
Other: Well, choosing the CSE course in this college was not regrettable at all. I am enjoying my course, and the faculty for all branches are decent; especially for CSE, you won't feel any difficulty in terms of academics as well as for other skills. Workshops are being held to enhance students skills outside of the classroom. Overall, everybody over here is interactive. Talking about crowds, as every college has, this college too has a bit of a crowd, but not to the point of worrying, as this campus is located outside of the city and you will be kept away from city noise and disturbance. Overall, this college is good, so if you are thinking of taking admission, you can go ahead with this, my dude!

Everything you need to know about NIEIT and NIE .
Placements: Around 70–80% students were placed in CSE stream. The highest package was around 54 LPA, and the lowest was around 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies were TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, etc. 60% is the internship rate or less. Due to recession, I guess. Software development was the top role of my branch.
Infrastructure: The college has sufficient labs and classrooms for students. There is one library on the south campus and one on the north campus. Both libraries are stacked with sufficient books and magazines. Even e-books are available. Wi-Fi is also provided, though it is not up to par in hostels, but it is good in college. The hostel rooms are great and well maintained. Daily cleaning is done and basic medical facilities like first aid, etc. are there. The food here is average at best. Some days it's fine but other days it's so bad that you have to order it from Swiggy, Zomato, etc. Sports facilities are also decent, with grounds and courts for various sports provided. Cricket, football, badminton, table tennis, and chess are a few of the games played here.
Faculty: Teacher are well qualified, with many holding Ph.D. degrees while others are pursuing the same. The same teachers are great but some teachers just teach what is in the textbook with no great interest. The course curriculum is improving and there are some efforts from college to introduce new subject to make students industry-ready, like Innovation design and thinking. Semester exams are not that tough when compared to VTU exams so it is relatively easy to score above 8 in those exams. 40–50% would be the average percentage required to pass the exam.
Other: This course currently has a lot of hype and attention as it provides a lot of opportunities for young people. I love to learn new languages so I took this course. The best thing about this course is that it is not that hectic, like mechanical or civil and you have relatively more free time to learn some extra skills. More emphasis should be placed on AI and machine learning, as these markets are rapidly expanding. Thus requiring skilled workforce. There are below-average grades in our college. They are not good, while the campus crowd is decent but you will mostly get Kannada-speaking people so that may cause some issues initially for students from other states. Connectivity is also decent, with all stations and airports being within 20 km from the north campus and under 10 km from the south campus. Many scholarships are provided at this college for lower-caste people, especially tribals. Even girls are given some scholarships. Many state scholarships are also there, like for Jammu & Kashmir students.
