NIMS Institute of Management and Commerce MBA Courses & Fees 2025: Admission Dates, Application, Placements & Seats

NIMS University or NIMS Institute of Management and Commerce does not conduct any admission or entrance test for admission to any of the postgraduate courses. Admission to all the courses offered at the institute is merit-based. The merit of the last qualifying degree/course/Class 12 is considered.

NIMS Institute of Management and Commerce MBA fee is cumulative of various components, such as caution money, hostel fee, tuition fee, etc. The total tuition fee for the PG course range from INR 3 Lacs to INR 5 lakh. Additionally, the hostel fee is also INR 3 Lacs and the one-time fee cost is INR 1,000. The mentioned fee is taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

The cutoff for NIMS MBA admission for the 2023 batch is at least 70 to 80+ percentile in any MBA entrance exams plus 50%+ in graduation.

550+ in the MAT exam

XAT exam: greater than 80 percentile

For the ATMA test, a 180+ rating

A CMAT score of 140 or higher

Students must also fulfill the following requirements in order to be eligible:

50% of total graduation grades (45% for SC/ST students)

Valid score on admission exams (CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT)

NIMS Institute of Management and Commerce, NIMS University admit candidates to the MBA programmes on a merit-basis. The selection is done based on performance in the last qualifying exam, i.e., bachelor's degree course. Furthermore, the aspirants must also fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements. Candidates who have passed a valid UG degree course with at least 50% aggregate (45% for reserved category candidates) can apply. 

For admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme at NIMS Institute of Management and Commerce, candidates are required to possess a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum duration of three years. The eligibility criteria further specify that applicants should have secured at least 50% marks in their qualifying examination; however, relaxation is provided to candidates from reserved categories, who need a minimum of 45%. Notably, NIMS University does not mandate the submission of a GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) score for MBA admissions. Instead, the university accepts scores from various other recognised entrance exams such as MAT, CAT, CMAT, or GMAT, offering candidates flexibility in qualifying for the MBA program.
