The college is good having a reputation all across India, but it is in a remote area.
Placements: 50 precent of the students got placed in my branch. The highest package offered is 14 LPA in the electrical branch with the lowest package of 5 lakh by TCS. Top recruiting companies are Vedanta ,L&T ,Tata, Power Grid and many other companies. I have done my internships in Power Grid and BHEL.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are of good size. There are two types of classes, one normal having a capacity of 40 students and the other is a lecture hall which has a capacity of 150 students. Every class has a projector. Labs are equipped with latest equipments. The entire campus is wifi enabled. The hostel facilities are good with one room being shared between 3 students. The hostel food is really delicious.
Faculty: All the faculty members are highly educated having done their PhD from top tier colleges like NIT and IIT. They are really helpful and their teaching style is good, I can understand the concepts properly. They make the students industry ready by giving us tips to crack the company interviews. Semester exams are difficult having 5 theory subjects and 4 practicals. The exams schedule is really hectic and 40% is the minimum passing percentage.

Infrastructure and faculty is not as par as other NIT's.
Placements: Generally in my course in my college only 1/3 get placed. The highest package goes around 16 LPA and the lowest package is around 6lpa. Top companies recruiting are BHEL, Deolite, etc. In my course harfly anyone gets internship in companies they generally do in IIT's.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very bad in our college. Wi-Fi is not available most of the times. There is even no library our campus. There is no proper sports field here, no coach, no training staff are present. Mess and canteen food is good but they ch high as students rely on them as hostel food is not so good.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and helpful, and wanting to help but lack of facilities provided by our coll prevent them from doing so. Yes this course curriculum relevant and does make students industry ready but as no internship are provided by college they suffer. Semester exams are generally easy people can pass if they have studied.

Consider then you don't get any other NIT.
Placements: The highest salary among the students is 19 lakhs, while the lowest is 6 lakhs, with an average of 7.5 lakhs. Companies like Samsung and Deloitte are among the recruiters. Around 60% of the students secure internships, with a majority of them being in IITs. Additionally, some students also manage to secure internships at companies like Amazon and others. The role of a software engineer is considered prestigious at my college.
Infrastructure: The overall experience is mediocre, with unsatisfactory food quality and average facilities for sports and games. Vegetarian students encounter difficulties due to the majority of local people preferring non-vegetarian options, resulting in problems for those seeking vegetarian meals.
Faculty: 1. The teachers are highly supportive and possess extensive knowledge, resulting in a good quality of education. However, the readiness of students depends on their dedication towards academics. Those who take their studies seriously are prepared for the industry, while those who do not prioritize exams and academics may not be adequately prepared. It is worth noting that the semester exams are not overly challenging.
Other: Placement is good in my course. Events are okay at my college.

If you work hard then there are 100% chances that you will get a good placement.
Placements: Around 60% students were placed in 2023 batch but if we talk about only non-local (outside this state) students then placement is around 100%. The highest package was 18lpa, average is 8.5lpa and the lowest was 6lpa. Power grind, TCS and PSU are the top recruiters. 70% students got internship from electrical engineering in various companies like power grind, and Siemens. Roles offered were like associate engineers and senior system engineer.
Infrastructure: There are non-AC classrooms but there are fans in every classroom. Every lab has ACs. One of the finest thing about this college is its library. It is one of the biggest central library among all north eastern NITs. Hostel infrastructure is good, mess food is satisfactory and canteen food is also good but little bit expensive. Medical facilities are 24/7 available. Games like volleyball, cricket and football are organised in every two to three months.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. They are skillful and knowledgeable in their respective course. The course is curriculum relevant and there are some extra activities like robotics, machines learning, coding competitions, etc. Students get a lot of benefits from this course and it makes students ready to take up industry challenges. Semester exams are neither easy nor tough. Pass percentage is about 85%.
Other: I am interested in robotics and machines learning that's why I chose this course. There are two fests in our college, addovedi and cultural fest. Connectivity is somewhat complex but the college provides bus service if you want.

Review of NIT Arunachal Pradesh - National Institute of Technology.
Placements: Since the job season started in the middle of July, the number of students who have found jobs doesn't show the complete picture of how well placements are going at NIT Andhra Pradesh. Our college provides good placements. Currently, three companies have completed their placement drives, and nearly 50% of students have been placed. The highest salary package offered is 7.93 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA and the average salary package offered is 6.9 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Genpact, Alstom, Teachnook, etc., visit our campus. Internships are not provided. They have taken FTE for now. However, there are more companies in line to hire interns in the future. Top roles offered are technical consultant and trainee.
Infrastructure: Our college provides all facilities. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Labs, classrooms, and libraries are available. A large new library will be finished soon. The quality of the food is excellent. The canteen is good. Medical facilities are available. Sports and games are currently not very strong, but efforts are being made to improve them.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and well-qualified. They expect respect and hard work from us. They are supportive. The curriculum is similar to that of other NITs and is good. It covers important topics like DSA, ML, CAN, DBMS, and OOPs, which are essential from a company's perspective. It would be beneficial if they could incorporate some practical approaches into the curriculum to encourage software development among students at the college level. Exams become easier when you review your class notes and the previous year's questions. The pass percentage is 80%.
Other: In our college, we organise a technical fest like ADDOVEDI, which takes place once a year in September. We also have a cultural fest called ATULYAM, which is held once a year in May.

Fulfilled expectations: A critical evaluation of NIT Arunachal Pradesh.
Placements: As of now, around 40% of the students got placed in my batch. Among those, the highest package is 9 LPA, the lowest is 4.5 LPA and the average package is 6 LPA. The top recruiter is L&T. Placement drives are still going on, and we expect better ones in the second half. In our senior batch, almost each student got 2–3 jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of academic buildings is not bad. But you will be disappointed if you place high hopes on infrastructure. In hostels, we get almost all the facilities. The only things that concern us are power cuts and connectivity. Only BSNL works there so to use the internet, we need to depend solely on Wi-Fi.
Faculty: The syllabus is vast. Sometimes its difficult to complete in the given time. But by completing, we can gain an advantage in placements. Subjects are based on industrial requirements. There is a need for improvement in faculty. As for semester exams, due to descriptive questions, passing is okay but getting good marks is difficult. The passing percentage is quite good.
Other: Electrical engineering is one of the toughest courses but it has very good opportunities. In government as well as the private sector. On my campus, there are around 900 students from all branches and years combined. There are two college fests, Addovedi the technical fest and Atulyam the cultural fest. As the campus has recently shifted, these fest don't meet most of the students expectations. The college provides information about various scholarships; all we need to do is be active. The major drawback of this college is connectivity. If you need to buy anything, most of the time you need to go to Itanagar. There are only two buses to Itanagar, and the timings are bad. There are no buses in college. So while going to classes, you will be walking down the hill. On Sunday, there is no transport. As of now, we can say that connectivity is the worst.
