One of the finest colleges in Bangalore in terms of academics.

Placements: Companies are coming in large number. Thye placement cell is very good and cooperative. Companies like Microsoft, Wipro, Infosys are playing a major role. There is a huge chance of getting placed. Totally satisfied with the placement cell as they are working very hard.

Very satisfied with the quality of education, good placements in 2016 and the three day joyous fest.

Placements: Placements for CSE, IT and ECE are really good at Nitte Meenakshi Institute of technology. A lot of core companies visit the campus, which is the main requirement for an ECE Engineer. Good companies which offer a package of 13lakhs also visit the campus to hire students. Companies like KPIT, MINDTREE, WIPRO, INFOSYS, NUTANICS visit the campus for intake of students. There is a STUDSTAT lab, which is currently working on twin satellites which provide internships for students at NMIT. From the thi...

Overall, it is a good college to study.

Placements: The placement was good. We had many companies on the campus. They took a lot of students, and the students got the offer letter in 3 months. It offers 100% placement. It is one of the best colleges in Bangalore. It is located in a peaceful area near the highway. It is a great college and place. Fest of this college is also amazing.

The honest review of my college.

Placements: The placements are not good for civil engineering. Only a few persons get placed every year. The number of students getting placed in very good companies is very less. Many got placed in other small companies and some in other sectors also.

The college is fine with its teaching and everything. The teachers are cool and friendly.

Placements: Right now I'm mostly focused on coding rather than earning. The computer science and engineering are all about the coding. If you have a good knowledge of C, C+, Java, etc. Then you can easily get the job in any company. The highest package of CS engineer this college has got is 17+ lacs per annum. Many companies like Microsoft, Infosys, etc. come to this college.

A review about NMIT. In short and sweet, the college has positive as well as negative points.

Placements: The placements are really good right now. Hope, they keep it going. An average package of 3 lacs per annum was given to our seniors. Overall, I rate as 8/10. The major companies like Microsoft, Mu-Sigma visited the campus. 16 lacs per annum was the highest package offered to the students. The placement training starts in 3-rd year.

A decent infrastructure, very poor faculty, zero placement, unnecessary bills to be paid.

Placements: Very poor! Only one company has visited the college and recruited the topper of the batch. And yet there were other IT companies, who did not recruit but as I mentioned they were IT not aeronautical. They collected the money for placement training and gave us hopes of getting a good job in a good company, but it was a big lie. Just one girl got recruited in the core company, and few of them were recruited by the IT companies. The remaining 75% were jobless. With our effort, we got employed, and ...

NMIT, the college with a great campus.

Placements: The placements were very good during our batch, almost 90% got placed, and the placement officer has very good contact with the companies. The college has research labs, and one is eligible to do an internship there in the college.

The college focuses more on minting money and is not student-friendly.

Placements: The good number of placements are offered for the CS department. Most of the batch is placed and the average package offered was 3.5 lacs per annum. The branches like mechanical, civil, and aero have fewer core companies visiting. The placement department is friendly and gives intuitive support after 3rd year towards the placements.

NMIT, a college capable of achieving success but busy in making money.

Placements: The placements are decent. The mass recruiters recruit most of the students. The companies like Microsoft, Huawei, Neutanics do select students from here. The students don't get an offer of internship from the college, that is something which we have to look on our own.

It is absolutely worth to join here.

Placements: Almost, 85% of the students get placed in this college. This 85% is considered for the overall fourth-year students. Very few departments struggle here for the placements. Due to the NBA accreditation, few departments also get placed very early and very fast. Rest all the departments will be getting accreditation from NBA very soon.

Overall, this college is good compared to other engineering colleges in Bangalore.

Placements: In our college, the placement is going very well especially in computer science, electronics and communication engineering. Last year our placement record was 100 %. Many students got placed in good companies like Google, Wipro, Microsoft, Infosys etc. Overall, our college placements are going well.

An average college with good placement with average faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements of CSE and ISE branches are 100%, and of ECE branch is good, but not 100%. For other branches it is average. The highest package grabbed is 18 lakhs per annum. Many companies visit here. Some of them are Microsoft, Huawei, Nutanix, Subex, and mass recruiters like Infosys and TCS also visit every other college. The average package hovers around 5 lacs per annum. Few people get high-end jobs like the developer. Most of them get normal IT jobs. Getting an internship is easy if you ar...

Pros and cons of NMIT-Bengaluru.

Placements: The placements are pretty good in this college when compared to other colleges. There are companies like the Microsoft, KPIT, Infosys, Wipro and such come for the placements. In CSE, above 70% of the students were placed. Mostly, the service based companies come for the placements. I'm not that sure about the internships, but there is a placement cell, and for the 1st and 2nd years it's not helpful.

A college with peace surrounding.

Placements: In the year 2017, more than 700 students were placed, and in CS department 90% of the eligible students were placed. This year as there are not many vacancies in the companies and the projects are given to the startups. MNC's haven't taken a good number, but still, 70% of the students have been placed already. Further few more companies will be visiting.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the infrastructure, but has better placements than other colleges.

Placements: The college will claim 100% placement. Don't believe in this. Most of the students are placed for 3.5LPA. They aren't many big companies are coming. TCS, Infosys, and Wipro are the major companies recruiting students. The recruiting percentage has gone down since my first year. The placements of CSE and IS students are better than rest branches. But, every company comes selects one or two for 11-14 LPA.

The college is helpful and makes you more open towards many things and let you be practical.

Placements: The companies attending our college are pretty good for us and seniors as well. Almost 60% of the students were placed in our seniors batch, and it is not constant the percent of students getting placed is fluctuating and hoping the same for our batch too. Microsoft, Wipro Infosys, mind tree and many more companies visited our college. The packages offered to students were damn high and are based on individuals academic performance.

Good faculty and efficient management of campus area.

Placements: The placements are good. Microsoft offers a handsome amount of money for deserving ones. Nutanix offers the highest package of about 15 lakhs per annum. Many companies are visiting for campus placements. About 100 percent placements are there. The minimum package was 1 lac per annum, while the average is 3 to 4 lacs per annum like every other college.

Nice environment and discipline inside the campus.

Placements: The placements in the college are very good. There are many core companies which visit the campus for placement. From the past few years, placement in CS and EC branch is almost above 90 percent. Other branches are also good, but CS and EC are mainly preferred.

One of the best and top 10 colleges, and the very good platform for you to be successful.

Placements: The placements are very successful. The companies come with very big packages. The good companies provide 100 percent placements. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Bosch, Himachal Pradesh, etc. visit our campus regularly. The average salary for the placement in the above mentioned some of the companies would be from 1 lakh to 1.5 lakhs per annum.
