Happy days of NMIT and review.
Placements: Placements are good in NMIT. The best companies I will mention are Capgemini, EY, and Hager, where the highest package is 8 LPA. While selecting the company, please be aware of whether they’re doing bulk hiring or not. 70% of students got placed.
Infrastructure: My friend used to stay in the hostel. He really liked it. Basically, on the day of NV, he won't skip the day. You can take a parcel of your food. And about the lab – labs are highly maintained with good Wi-Fi and cleanliness. Some systems may be slow, but they are in working condition.
Faculty: You’ll be having 3 model tests before the main semester. (2 model tests are highly important.) You can opt for two specializations, which is compulsory and helpful. The passing percentage is 40%. However, you need to pass; otherwise, the evaluation and reappear fee is higher.

Nitte Meenakshi - NMIT College.
Placements: The pass percentage of the college is more than 90%, and even a few big companies like Microsoft and Adobe visit the campus for placements, along with Japan-based companies. The average package of CSE is 7 LPA, and the highest package is around 42 LPA and above.
Infrastructure: There are facilities like Wi-Fi, fully furnished classrooms, and labs, along with 2 libraries. The mess food is average, but the canteen food and sir's food are actually nice. They provide medical facilities and have different grounds for sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and helpful in nature. They try to give their best to the students, and the course curriculum is highly relevant to industry needs. The semester exams are easy to score in; even if you study one week before, you will get good marks. The pass percentage is 40 out of 100.

Go for some other courses expect AIML and AIDS .
Placements: The college's welfare is not up to par, and the teachers' qualifications are also lacking, as AIML is a new addition to the institution. However, apart from the AIML and AIDS branches, the rest of the college excels in every aspect. Due to the recent introduction of only two batches, students have not been placed yet.
Infrastructure: This college has recently opened a new branch, which currently offers only one laboratory for this particular course. The library is well-equipped, and the Wi-Fi, hostels, canteen, and sports facilities are of high quality. The medical facility is decent, with a medical room that is typically open during college hours.
Faculty: The level of qualification among teachers in this specific field is relatively low. Although they make an effort to assist students, their knowledge about this branch is limited. In terms of semester exams, they are exceptionally challenging, with a pass rate exceeding 85%.
Other: If you are coming in this college opt for some other courses as of now.

It is a good college with good placements.
Placements: The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Tata Consultancy Services and Wipro visit the college for placements. Nearly 70-75% of students got placed. Around 65% of students got internships. The top roles like project manager and marketing manager are offered to students.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good and extremely beautiful. The college building is nice. Classrooms are neat and clean, with comfortable benches. Labs are well-equipped. The library is good with all books. The Wi-Fi facility is also available. The hostel facilities are good, and the canteen is also available.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They have 7-8 years of experience. They are very friendly and helpful. Their teaching quality is good. They explain every point. The course curriculum is relevant to the subject. Semester exams are easy to pass. The pass percentage is 70%.

It is a bad college with faculty members. Placements in 2024 were good.
Placements: More than 90% got students got placed in my course. The highest salary package offered is 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Kickdrum, Capgemini, Accenture, MathCo, and IBM visit the college to hire students. Almost 90% of students got internships in companies like Mathco, IBM, and Accenture. Top roles like developer and UI/UX training are offered to students.
Infrastructure: There is decent Wi-Fi in classrooms. There is no Wi-Fi in some labs and they use LAN. There is a good Wi-Fi in the library. Hostel Wi-Fi used to be good but now it is horrendous. The quality of food in the mess is so bad. Only on Sunday and Wednesday, dinner has good food like chicken and paneer. Sports events happen most of the time which is a good thing here. Medical facilities are decent.
Faculty: Not even a single thing taught by the teacher was useful or understandable. Faculty members are very bad. The course curriculum is just useless and it does not make students industry-ready. We have subjects like EVS (environment studies), CO (computer organisation which is a hardware topic), and DD (digital design) an electrical subject and they just hinder our CGPA and nothing else. Due to these subjects, exams are horrible. Students need to score 40 out of 100 in the semester-end exams to get passed.
Other: I chose this course and this college because of rank issues. I could not get a good rank in JEE to get a college in Delhi where I live. Nothing is good about this course. The worst thing is the attendance requirement is 75%, if students' attendance is even 74%, then faculty members will make them ineligible for that subject. I hope the college should change the HOD, include more tech-related subjects, and provide internship training. Events happen rarely, our main fest named Anadyanta happens in May for 3 days. At the fest, they invited some artists, and last year they invited Sachet Parampara Tandon, which was really awesome.

Dissatisfied with the college rules and placement.
Placements: Placement is not too good but not in the situation where the IT industry is facing so many ups and downs in recent times. At least students are getting placed right, but at the same time, this also hits in mind: "Is this really worth investing 15–18 lacs in total and getting placed in a company of 4-6 LPAs? .
Infrastructure: The college has been undergoing construction since the day it came. They took money from BE students and made the worst buildings for BE. Students only, the best building holders are architecture building and fashion students building.
Faculty: Exam patterns were the best in the year I joined this college but now they are getting worse. Also, the copy checking is very strict. Not a single professor is going to give you marks for something you have not done on your own. If you are joining NMIT, prepare yourself to work hard.
