A true and wonderful engineering college.

Placements: When we started off our course, it was the time of recession. Hence, we were quite skeptical about us getting placed. But once we got to our 7th semester, more than half of the students were placed. Being a new college (started in 2001), this was a remarkable achievement. The cream of students was placed within one week and companies like Dell, TCS, and Capgemini had visited for placements. Dell had taken around 70 odd students and TCS being a mass recruiter, took a decent number of students. ...

Decent college to take admission in for better future.

Placements: It was not as expected, but before the previous year, around 80% students were placed in the IT sector. Last year, due to demonetization, many of the students got unplaced. The aspects of the company were increased. They should provide better facilities toward the training programmes inside the college.

All about Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placement is quite good for EEE, EC, CSE, and ISE. Some core companies also visit every year for recruitment like L&T, Bosch, KPIT etc. They offered good packages. Last year, Microsoft offered 9 LPA to 8 students. EEE branch has fair placements and they get good recruiters every year. The average placement of the college is about 3.5 LPA.

Decent placements and good faculty.

Placements: Placements in this college are decent. Companies like HP, Dell, Wipro, Microsoft, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, KPIT and many other start-up companies came in. The minimum salary offered is 3 lakhs and goes up to 12 lakhs. Last year, in ECE department, out of 200 students around 130 got placed in good companies. internships are not offered by the college. This you have to figure out on your own. Though your department helps you out with the internships. You can approach your faculty and they migh...

Good placements for IT, IS and EC.

Placements: I was placed in Wipro. The college will allow you to sit for two companies only. First, for an IT company and the other would be your dream company. The number of companies visiting for placement is good. Most of them are IT companies. More than half of the students got placed in 2016 which is more than the previous batches.

Nitte upholds its reputation in Bangalore campus.

Placements: Placement for our batch was better than that of our seniors. The highest and lowest package is not known to me. Companies like TCS, Deloitte, Coca Cola, Ajax Fiori, Subex, Mindtree, FACE, Decathlon etc. visited our campus. Almost 80% of our batch was placed. The internships were mostly unpaid and the college helped in getting internships for the students.

Good placements in 2016, great infrastructure, better faculty can be hired.

Placements: Placements were fine, but the package and the number of companies visiting the college can be improved. The role mainly offered was associate software engineer. Microsoft, Capgemini, Wipro, Infy, Ericson were some of the main companies that visited the college. The highest number of placements was recorded in our college during my final year. Around 400 were placed in 2016.

Good placement in IT sector. ISE and CSE departments are the best.

Placements: Almost 60% of our batch is placed. IT field departments like CSE and ISE are fully placed until now. The highest package was obtained by a CSE guy offered by Newton X at 16 LPA. The average salary of our batch (due to the down market) was 3.5 LPA. Our seniors had been placed with an average of 4.5-5.0 LPA. Mostly, the other departments like civil, aeronautical, electrical and electronics have less placement rates. ISE department is the best department of the college in matters of placement and s...

Good faculty, good infrastructure, great college.

Placements: The placements are excellent for a CS or IS student, whereas for EEE or EC the number of core companies recruiting is less. But it has increased over the last two years. More than 80% students get placed every year. Mechanical and civil students mostly get placed in L&T or Tech Mahindra. It also depends on the student's CGPA. The packages started from 3 lakhs for the students who got placed last year. Internships are not offered by the college. You have to find one for yourself. But your departm...

Absolutely misguided to join this college. No expected company comes to the college.

Placements: Placements are not as stated in the prospectus. This year placements are really bad. The placement and training department takes placement fees Rs. 2500 per student and does nothing. Before last year, the placements were good enough. About 90% of the eligible students were placed. But this year it's less, according to the statistics that were put on the notice board. Least number of students got internships. The students were mostly offered technical support jobs. The highest offer is Rs. 12 la...

I would say that NMIT is such a college which has everything a student needs.

Placements: Placements in my college are way better than other colleges in Bangalore. Due to the change in the placement officer, the result in placement is enhanced by miles. Especially the students of computer science, ECE and ISE department get a whopping salary provided he/she must be above average. In my view, my batch's placement percentage was above 85%. The lowest package offered was 3 lakh per annum and the highest went up to 9 lakh per annum by Microsoft. The list of companies which visited th...

Good placements, dissatisfied because of a few teachers, good infrastructure.

Placements: My batch had almost 85% placements. Infosys recruited 93 students. Wipro recruited 202 students and Capgemini 50 students. 80% of students from the CS department got placed in these 3 companies itself. The other companies which visited are Microsoft, Ericsson, Tech Mahindra etc. 40+ companies visited for the placements. Regarding placements, my college is one of the best colleges in Bangalore.

Awesome college worth to study and get ready for the out world to compete.

Placements: The placement of my NMIT is great. For my batch they called more than 50 companies. Adding to it, the maximum companies were MNCs. I got three offer letters from Wipro, Capgemini and Incture. I am currently working in Capgemini. Overall, if I have to rate my college in terms of placement, then I would like to give my college 9/10.

My engineering experience.

Placements: Approx 60% of the students were placed in the year 2016 and this year, the placements are going on successfully. Students here get internships at HAL, Rail Village, Ultra tech, Robotics, Nano materials Lab,etc. 40% of the students got their internship from college but no stipend was offered.

Absolutely dissatisfied by the college.

Placements: Placement was good but only for CS and IS branch and for rest of the branches, it was not so well. No core company came for mechanical and civil branch and the packages of the visiting companies was also not good enough. A few companies hire some students but still they didn't get their call letter from those companies.

Not satisfied with the faculty.

Placements: Placement was good for all the branches especially for the CS and IT. Nearly everyone got placed. But civil and mechanical branch placement was not so good. Mechanical core companies were not brought in college and also the companies' packages were very less and some companies were such a scam that after being selected also they never called.

NMIT, this college has shown an exponential growth in terms of development. You can join.

Placements: Since last few years, the placements offered in this college has shown some positive changes. Since last two years, Microsoft has offered the minimum package of 5 lacs per annum, and the maximum package was offered 13 LPA. Several other companies have given a CTC of about 20 lacs per annum to some students. Last year, some companies offered an internship of Rs. 60,000 per month for 6 months to a student. Its not just restricted to CSE and ECE. The companies purely for mechanical and civil do vis...

Placements: Placement is quite impressive for ECE branch. Almost 75% of the students got placed in good companies every year with numbers improving every year. Average offered stipend is around 3-3.5 lakhs/annum. Internship in the college is arranged in well manner. Many good companies had visited earlier like KPIT, Bosch, Tech Mahindra, L and T, etc.

Placements: The college has decent placements record. The percentage of placements last year: CS &IS: >90% (Infosys, Wipro, L&T Infotech, KPIT, Huwaei, Microland, Mindtree, Microsoft Services, Capgemini, IBM, Dell, Tech Mahindra etc.). ECE: 80-85% ( Mostly same as CS/IS, and some few core companies). EEE: 75%. MECH: >60% ( L&T, CUMMINS etc.). The placement record for MECH has improved quite well since the last few years. Placements: Many students were placed in my batch, the salary levels were mediocre. Companies like Deloitte, Infosys, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra etc. visited. Roles offered for Computer Science students were mostly of Software Engineer. Almost everyone did internship as it was compulsory. Faculty members helped students to get an internship.
