It's a good private college for studying. In 2011 it was well known for its placement record. The fee structure of the college is higher than other colleges of its level. College is located about 10-12 km far from Bhubaneswar city. However the college is taking care of transportation facilities for its staff members and students by charging some amount for this service. It's covering all the major locations in the city for pickup and drop.

The college is good in discipline. Infrastructure needs to be improved as well as teaching staff needs to be more experienced. Above all more than average placements i.e. 5%MNC and approx.30% in relatively smaller companies. Location is not so cool but most of the engineering colleges in BBSR are at outskirts, not an issue.

This college is situated a little out of town with a huge campus almost 70 acres and very good facilities. Gym, badminton courts, tennis, basketball all is available. WE can also go out and play computer games in nearby shops. Internet and Wi-Fi in hostel is amazing speed and download is very fast happening. Studies is not much tension because of very good faculty members and seniors tell paper one day before.

NMIET is the best private college in Odisha. Classes at nmiet are interactive in nature and are a healthy mix of lectures. The college houses competitive cross-section of more than 950-1000 students. Seniors are supportive and there is no kind of ragging done here. The placement cell at NMIET is very robust. Recruiters who visited the campus are infosys, wipro, egi websoft, infoway solution, click inc., etc.

The time when I joined this college, it had a good repo among students and the placement record was much better. But due to the discrete time of only 4 years we saw a lot of changes in the college. Management team has had least bothering about the college.

Hostel facilities are below average.

Placements: Extremely poor placement records. Highly inefficient team working in placement cell. Faculty members are not tech friendly, management loose on their part to even enhance the quality of training. Fake placement records. Lots of ground level changes - must required.
