Placements: Almost 90% of the students were placed post completion of the course. Since the Marketing Research course is in association with Nielsen, one has to go through several rounds of evaluations and internships to secure their placement in the organisation. During the tenure of the course the students get ample opportunities to convert their class room leanings into meaningful practical experiences through multiple internships offered at Nielsen (across verticals) as well as client organisations. The starting package offered to the students during our batch was 6 l p. a. However, this has been revised (increased) considering the current market scenario and the industry standards. The students join as Research Executives in a Client Servicing role wherein they are equally responsible for execution of the research needs and servicing the clients (key accounts at Nielsen).
Infrastructure: The campus is equipped with state of the art classrooms, conference rooms, Library and Club house with other top class facilities like Swimming pool, Gym, Squash court, Table tennis etc. After a long and a hectic day the students usually unwind by utilizing the above mentioned facilities. Student Dormitories are equipped with all the basic amenities and offer comfortable stay to budding corporate executives. The dorm setup helps students in developing personal relationships and gives a new perspective to the people staying under one roof. Services like laundry are available at an additional cost (Minimal charges). The institute houses a restaurant which caters to the dining needs of the students. Dining is included in the course fees however, a-la-care facility is also available. Set among the backdrop of mountains in a peaceful location, this is probably the best campus that anyone could ask for.
Faculty: Both in house and visiting faculty members are very helpful and play a major role in shaping the careers of the students. Majority of them are practicing managers and leaders or have held senior management positions in the industry. With strong focus on the practical aspects, the faculty ensures that the students get to apply their classroom learning into answering real business questions. This practical approach not only helps students in attaining a thorough understanding but also ensures that the students are industry ready before they step into their respective roles.

Placements: 1. 100% placement in Nielsen. 2. 7 Lacs p. a salary offered for all students. 3. Placement offered by Nielsen. 4. Entry-level position- Research Executive was offered. 5. 7 Lacs p. a salary for all students. 6. 100% placement for internships in Nielsen and other client firms such as Mondelez, Godrej, Hersheys, Pepsico, Mars etc.
Infrastructure: 1. The classrooms are fully air conditioned with projectors and a library that is open to all students 24x7 2. The fees includes hostel fees- dorm rooms on a sharing basis- as well as food from the restaurant in the campus. Laundry services are also available at an additional cost. There is also a small shop with all basic amenities available in the campus.
Faculty: The teachers, both in house as well as the visiting faculty, are all qualified industry experts. The highlight of the course is that we got to learn from practicing industry experts who were able to give us hands-on knowledge. Every class ends with an assignment or project that helps you apply the knowledge to practical use. Multiple presentations, mock interviews, pitches etc. Were a regular part of the curriculum. Additionally, the concept of councils helps students take on additional responsibilities that can only enhance your skills. By the end of the 11months, every student is ready to directly dive into their role at work. The course also helps you get exposure to some of the top people in the industry, giving you an opportunity to learn from them as well as present your work to them. Would highly recommend this unique course to any student wishing to take up market research in India.

It is the best course for students who are aspiring a career in research.
Placements: PGPMR from Northpoint Centre of Learning is a collaborated programme with Nielsen. Students who have successfully completed this programme will be placed in Nielsen. All the students from our batch have got the job, and 90% of them got placed in Nielsen for the research executive role. The top performer from the batch has received the offer from PepsiCo in the CMI team. The salary package offered was 7 LPA and above for all the placed students. Regarding the internships, all the students have done two internships with Nielsen, one with the leading FMCG Manufacturers, i.e., clients of Nielsen and a rural internship. There is a student council which will take care of the internships for the students with expert guidance from the course director.
Infrastructure: The campus is equipped with all the modern facilities like classrooms, the library, etc. Accommodation facilities are the best, and the stay will be memorable. Rice Bowl where we eat food has great service and serve tasty food. The campus has a swimming pool, gym, table tennis, squash court, carrom and a meditation room as well.
Faculty: Since the market research programme is a collaborated programme with Nielsen, most of the faculty members will be from Nielsen, and they are industry experts. There are some faculty members who are from well-reputed organisations and in the research as well. It is the best programme for any student aspiring a career in market research. Students will be taught by the industry experts, and the internships will help to be industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because it is uniquely designed with the expert teachers from industry and the internships needed for any student interested in research. The main reason for me to chose this course was it is different from the regular institutions and has a lot of practical knowledge.

Review of Northpoint Centre of Learning.
Placements: Placements opportunities in our college are great. The college provides 100% placement, but you have to complete the course successfully with 60% in each module. During the course, one undergoes through different internships which helps you to understand different vertical and their functions.
Infrastructure: The college is located in Lonavla. The weather and the locality of our college are isolated from the city crowd, which helps you to focus more on your studies. The college is well-equipped with facilities like classrooms, library, swimming pool, table tennis court, squash court, etc. The dorms are clean, and the food served is awesome. You will not feel that it is a hostel and you are in a residential programme.
Faculty: The course is designed in such a way that you can work in the office. Lectures are delivered from the industry experts directly, so we learn from their experience rather than outdated case studies. Especially for the research programme we get the brief and we have to do the fieldwork on our own. Which not only gives a learning experience but also gives us a broad understanding of the consumer.
Other: The best thing about this course is the course design. You will get industry exposure and understand how to approach the briefs. You will not only learn the business problems but also understand what your core competencies are. So, I feel the course is not only about learning, and it is more about self-discovery.

The ultimate place for marketing professionals to develop and hone their skills.
Placements: The PGPMR course at Northpoint Centre of Learning is in conjunction with Nielsen India. Close to 90% of the students get placed in the company provided students pass the course at Northpoint (60% or above overall). The starting salary at our time was 6 Lacs p. a. As a part of the 11-month course, students get the opportunity to intern with all the key revenue functions of Nielsen as well as with the client. Additionally, there is also a rural internship that students are exposed to.
Infrastructure: The Centre has top of class facilities for recreation as well as education. There is a gym, swimming pool, squash court and a auditorium style Speaker's forum for debates and events to name a few. The classrooms are well-equipped with all facilities and seating style to ensure individual attention. The residential facilities are dormitory style which helps students interact with each other and learn team work (basic requirements in corporate culture). The students are provided with all three meals and tea/coffee twice a day at the Rice Bowl restaurant. There is a library with all marketing, strategy and advertising related books for students to refer to.
Faculty: The faculty at Northpoint are experienced senior industry professionals who are involved with market research, marketing, sales, advertising and strategy in their day to day life. They draw knowledge from real life examples and case studies to teach the fundamentals to the students.
Other: Northpoint Centre of Learning provides the right mix of theory and practical knowledge. What we learn in theory from esteemed industry professionals, we get the opportunity to apply directly in our internships. The Centre teaches you to address business problems from all angles in order to come up with a holistic solution for your clients. After leaving Northpoint you will be equipped with practical knowledge, great interpersonal skills and a clear successful career path for you to achieve.

Review of Northpoint Centre of Learning.
Placements: Almost 100% of the students who passed in this course got placed immediately. The salary package offered was 6 LPA. The top recruiter for our course is Nielsen India Pvt Ltd. Top roles offered in our course are research executive across consumer insights (across verticals), media, bases, RMS, neuro, etc. These roles are provided in top-notch clients like Facebook, Google and Hotstar in media, Unilever, P&G and many more in FMCG. I am lucky enough to work with giant media industry bodies like BARC and MRUC. Almost 100% of the students got internships in the best FMCG companies like Unilever, etc.
Infrastructure: It is an amazing campus. Our college provides classrooms, Wi-Fi facility, library, gym, medical facilities, swimming pool, squash court, cricket area, lawn and hangout area. We were served amazing food (which had multiple options and would change as per our requests). Our college had a squash court where we use to go almost on a daily basis. There was a swimming pool which was super clean and maintained very well.
Faculty: All the teachers here are the experts in their particular domains (mainly in marketing, research). Especially, the dean of Northpoint (Mr Ray) was the best mentor ever who helped me personally in moulding my proficiencies and emanated true mettle in myself. The course curriculum is the best part about this course as it is designed in such a way that students learn a particular thing about the subject or topic and later gets a chance to implement it practically during various internships. So, it helps the students to gain industry knowledge and expertise.
Other: I chose this course since I did not want to pursue a general MBA and wanted to specialise in marketing research, where I would get a chance to work with the world's best research company. I wish that our college should make our course duration much longer, so it would help us spend more time at Northpoint and gain more knowledge. Our college organises multiple events like movie nights, music jam sessions, knowledge sharing sessions, alumni meet, special foodie days (where we would choose our own menu), dance, singing and much more.
