B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2015

I don't recommend this college.
Placements: Placements are almost zero for our batch and even for our seniors. The placements are only in the college advertising boards. In reality, not even a single legitimate company visited us. Some BPOs visited us but didn't even offer jobs to the selected candidates.
Infrastructure: No instrumentation lab or computer lab is functioning properly. All the equipment is either malfunctioned or a show-off piece. Out of all 4 years apart from the hammer, I didn't get a chance to work with any equipment.
Faculty: The curriculum followed is of the university. The faculty members are totally unfit. Very few are technically qualified. Apart from threatening with lab marks, they do a very little teaching. The faculty are the passed out students of the same college who didn't get jobs anywhere.
Other: The only reason I chose this course is because of my ignorance. One should be very careful before joining a course or a college.

I don't recommend this college at all.
Placements: The college staff are the worst. The college is not good. There were no placements or internships. No campus interviews were conducted. No companies visited the campus for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Facilities in this college are bad. Hostel, food and hospitality are the worst. Power cuts, mascots and poor infrastructure were a problem. Water facilities were poor. Wi-Fi facility was not available. Labs were not available. A library was there, but no books were available. No medical facilities were available.
Faculty: All the teaching faculty have completed their bachelor of engineering. Their teaching quality is poor. The course curriculum is not relevant. Students are very clever.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2019

Our college has a good infrastructure but not maintaining it properly. The management was the worst.
Placements: I have studied at Nova College of Engineering and Technology, which is located at Ibrahimpatnam in Vijayawada, 521456. None of the faculty members or management cares about students life. In this college, placements were conducted before 3 years. Now, none of the companies is recruiting students from our college. Even our college is going to be closed in a short period.
Infrastructure: Our college was built in approximately 5 acres of area, and the infrastructure is average. A playground is available, along with a basketball court. Usually, students will play cricket only once on this ground. All courses are available in this college. The library and labs are available only for namesake as they are not useful for students.
Faculty: The qualification of teachers in our college is M.Tech only, and they are not trained. They don't have the subject knowledge, and they don't even have knowledge about small things. Their teaching quality was the worst, and they just come to college for salary purpose and to do time pass and for experience certificate.
Other: It is the worst college which I have ever seen in my life. There are no faculty members and classes. Students come to college just for time pass and for the attendance.

It is a good college in our area. It provided good placements in the year 2015.
Placements: About 80% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 80,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. Companies like Infosys, Dell and Google visit our college for placements. Top roles, like coding and good communication skills, are offered for students. The salary offered in our course is 1 lac per month. About 70% of the students from our course got an internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities available in our college are excellent. Libraries and labs are excellent. Food served in the hostel mess is very good in Andhra hostels. Sports and games facilities are very good. It provides good medical facilities. The canteen is also excellent.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and qualified. They are PhD holders. They are knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in this course, and students get the future in software engineering. Events are conducted in college by faculty members.

Overall, our college is the best in my locality.
Placements: About 35% of the students in our course got placed. The salary offered to the students during the training period ranges between Rs. 18,000-28,000 per month. The salary offered to my seniors ranges between Rs. 35,000-45,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, Polaris and Autodesk visit our campus for placements. A top role offered in our course for students is an assistant engineer. The salary offered in our course ranges between Rs. 18,000-28,000 per month. About 48% of the students from our branch got an internship.
Infrastructure: The college is spread over almost 55 acres of land with full greenery and less pollution. The college also provides high-speed Wi-Fi facility, highly developed labs, a physical and digital library for students. The hostel and food provided by the college are excellent.
Faculty: All the teachers in our college are well trained in both teaching skills and technical skills. They provide excellent coaching for students. They provide the best ways to survive in this world by providing industrial visits and training to almost all students.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like electrical engineering course, and it has more risk than other branches. I wish the college should provide industrial training with a span of at least 3 months in the final year. Cultural activities, tech fests, start-up ideas, etc., are conducted by our college faculty members.

I am dissatisfied with the college because of our studies.
Placements: There are around many students in every course. The highest salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 8,000 per month. An average salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. The college doesn't provide any internships.
Infrastructure: Our college doesn't provide much better facilities in our department. Wi-Fi is available only for faculty and not for students. Labs don't have the correct equipment available, but the library is good and is up to mark. Classrooms are fine but not much. The hostel has the worst facilities and the food served is also the worst in the mess and canteen.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and friendly with students. They are knowledgeable but not up to the mark which we can gain. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is not relevant, neither it makes students industry-ready. Before joining, please confirm about the college.
Other: I opted for the course because my parents told me to do this course. Everything in college needs to be changed and improved. Extracurricular activities also need to be improved a lot.
