My college experience is so bad.

Placements: The percentage of placement is very poor, with only 10 to 12 students placed among 60 students, making the ratio of placement very low. The average package is about 2 to 4 Lacs per annum. Currently, no company has come for recruitment in our branch. Some paid internships are provided, but no certificate is given.

Review of Oriental College of Technology.

Placements: Salary packages offered in our college are not so good. Top recruiting MNCs are Wipro, TCS, and Cognizant but the salary package offered is not higher than 5 LPA. There are some start-ups coming up but you will not find more than 20 placements for each start-up. The college placement cell is like a garden. There will be a change every year.

I am not satisfied because of its curriculum and faculty members.

Placements: If students are from the CS and IT branch or EC branch as well, then students have a good chance of getting a decent package. There are a bunch of companies coming on campus which includes some tech giants like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. Also, Byjus and Jaro Education come on campus for business development roles which offer good packages and it is open for all branches.

I am dissatisfied because of college and hostel, placements were good in the past.

Placements: Almost 60% of students are placed in this college. The lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA and the highest salary package goes up to 6 LPA - 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, and Infosys followed by many startup companies. Most of the students get internships from TCS and many more companies.

Our college provides good placement and poor management. There are no informative facilities.

Placements: More marketing companies visit our college when compared to technology companies. Few good technical companies like Capgemini and TCS visit our college for placements. Many students get a pool campus. The salary package offered by marketing companies is more than technical. The average salary package offered by technical companies is 3.5 LPA. The average salary package offered by marketing companies is 5 LPA.

I am dissatisfied in every possible way. So, I suggest you that don't join here.

Placements: I am currently pursuing my graduation in the mechanical branch, and I will be passed out in 2020 April. The number of students who get placed and the number of students who join companies are different because only those companies which offer salesperson or policies seller types of jobs visit here for recruitment. The highest salary package offered was 12.5 LPA in which there are many deductions, so your actual salary becomes very less. These type of companies visit our college. For internships,...

Come if you can study on your own.

Placements: Only 20-30 percent students are placed due to very few companies are coming for campus recruitment and only sales and marketing companies are coming for the recruitment. No core companies are present. Top companies were Tata consultancy services and wipro and the roles offered were like software trainee ranging from 3.5lpa to 1.5 LPA only.

I am dissatisfied with placements and teachers.

Placements: About 50% of the students in our course got placed. The highest salary package offered by Byju's was 7 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.1 LPA. TCS is the top recruiting company of our college. TCS conducted national qualifier test among all over India and selected the students. Some other companies like Wipro, Mphasis, Jaro and Rang Technologies also visit our campus for placements. Roles like testing, technical support, software development and BPO are offered to the students.

It's a disrespect college with less placements, 100% attendance and wants money for some reason.

Placements: Students don't need any criteria as admission can be made directly with contact to admission cell or faculty members. They provide placements mainly to CS and IT sectors. The maximum salary package offered is up to 7 LPA and the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. They mainly provide sales jobs to mechanical branch students, but core jobs are not available for mechanical engineering students in this college.

Really Bad System of college.

Placements: Total of about 5% students got placed in campus recruitment from mechanical branch. No company of mechanical branch come so far the students get selected in IT company. The average package is 3lacs. The college doesn't provide any internship. In the name of company recruitment they always takes money from student.

I am dissatisfied because of the college management team and faculty.

Placements: The college has the worst placement record for the 2018 batch and 2017 batches. From 2018 batch, only 3-4 students were placed. Local companies visited the campus for placements. The salary package offered was 1.10 LPA. The college does not support students to get placed from off-campus placement drives. The college management is the worst.

I'm satisfied with some faculty only. Placements are not satisfactory now, but it was great in 2015.

Placements: Placements in the college were not up to the mark as promised at the time of admission. Our super seniors were all placed in decent companies, so it was good till 2016 only. TCS is the only MNC visiting the campus for recruitment. I would not suggest anybody take admission in that college.

This is not a college, it's a school.

Placements: Placements in our college are not good. No good companies had visited our college for recruiting students. Although companies have visited, they have recruited very few students. Companies like Amazon visit our college, but they only offer roles in marketing. Sometimes students are not capable of cracking the aptitude exams for placement purpose.

The college has average teachers. The placements are good, but the package is not satisfying.

Placements: If you have the calibre, then you will definitely get the placement. Mainly TCS is the main recruiter on the campus, and many management companies also visit the college. Placement scenario is little bad, but the companies are visiting the campus, but they are not offering a handsome package.

The college is good. The faculty are not good, and the rules are worst.

Placements: There are very few placements in my college because it's just a private college, so companies are rarely interested in taking students from our college. The placements are also not going good in my college because the faculty members are responsible for taking companies to my college are not doing their job the way they should be.

Not found as I listed before joining.

Placements: On the campus, they have a partnership with TCS but they take maximum 20 students from Oriental College of Technology alone. Don't misunderstand the placement with OIST that is totally different. Some startups come and give you selection letters but you will not get the joining.

Oriental College of Technology is only for your money.

Placements: Less than 15% of students were placed due to the coronavirus and the unforeseen pandemic. The college supported students. The average salary package offered in our course was 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The highest salary package from on-campus placements was 5 LPA. Recruiters were Capgemini and Cognizant.
