"Best Among the Private Institutes.

Placements: Placement are pretty good, although not in the best companies, but they are going to get you placed somewhere. Almost 80-85% of IT and CS branch students are placed in some or the other companies like TCS. Same was the case with Seniors. For Mechanical Branch, not much of the core companies have arrived. But Mechanical students are placed in TCS or in some other marketing companies, as said they are going to place you somewhere. Package was around 3-4 Lacs. You cant expect more than that from a ...

Good faculty, placement and infrastructure.

Placements: The placement is good in our college. From the beginning, our college has a tie-up with TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahendra, etc. TCS takes a huge number of students from our college. Every year, TCS takes approximately 200 students, and from 2016 batch it took approximately 240.

The students stuck to study, and there are less curricular activities. The campus is eco-friendly.

Placements: As we had a chat with our seniors and our teachers in the college about the training and placement status of our college, we got to know that the placement for IT, CS, EX and EC, i.e., computer and technology branches, the placements are good that is around 80-90%. For core branches, i.e., mechanical and civil, the placements are low as core companies hire limited students. Overall, the placements are good on the campus.

The students salary per month is going to maximum 1 Lac and minimum to 30,000 INR, well average salary is 40,000-50,000/- have get. There are average idea about internship and no matter what are you doing in your daily life.

Good infrastructure, placements and facilities.

Placements: Last year, more than 400 students attended interviews in TCS company, and 250+ students got placed. So, I can say every year, at least 40 to 50% of the students get placed in many companies like TCS, marketing companies and some core companies. It is not the best college, but a good college for engineering.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the faculty, placements and infrastructure.

Placements: Placement are not good for civil engineering and it varies for 20-30%. The companies are coming are also not much reputated and the package may vary from2-3 LPA. The placement are not dependent on quality of the student it may vary and some corruption are also going on in placements.

Truth from my corner about our college

Placements: The placements ratio of my branch is not good, but many companies visit our college for the placements. The companies like Mahindra, TATA, and many local companies of India came last year, and the average package of placement was 4-8LPA and not more than that for my branch. Our college organises internship programmes for us which are not useful at all, but it improves our knowledge. There is a placement cell which is very useful. We have to enrol us to the placement cell to sit in the company d...

The infrastructure, placements are good. Management is poor.

Placements: The placement cell in the college is very helpful. TATA Consultancy Services (TCS) is the mass recruiter and also day 1 company. The placements for Software Engineers are good. 65-70% of students got placed in my batch as well as the senior batch in various companies. The average package is somewhere around 3 lacs. The highest package can go 6+.

Oriental might be a good college of its time but is below average in present day.

Placements: Placement percentages are good. Almost 90% of the students of CSE and IT branch are placed. As compared to last year's record, the percentage is a bit higher for this session. Salary ranges from 2.5 LPA to 7 LPA. The main recruiter being TCS. Almost 60% of the placements are in technical jobs while the rest are placed in management fields. There is a placement cell, but not as useful as needed.

College cum school. Dissatisfied because of over disciplines.

Placements: The placement for my batch is not upto the mark. There is not at all visiting of core companies. TCS (Tata consultancy services) is the major recruiter. There is almost about 300 students get selected in TCS every year. It is a mass recruiter. About 2 lac. Per annum salary offered. Minimum salary about 10000 per month from other companies. Mostly they are offered for coding, programming. Internship is also not much offered. A placement cell is also there. It is not much useful.

It is the best college to those who belong to middle-class families and have a high aim.

Placements: This is a world-class college in terms of job placement. I have got a placement of 4.5 lacs per year in a multinational company. The average package of this college is around 6 LPA. Many multinational companies come here for the placement, like Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services, Accenture, HCL, etc.

A very good college, which can lead students towards the successful future.

Placements: The placements are very good at oriental campus Bhopal, being a part of this college, I can assure you about the placements. The knowledge partner is TCS, and till now, approximately 25+ companies have visited our college for campus drive in the year 2018, including core companies for all the branches.

Join the college if you want a decent crowd.

Placements: During my time, there were 4 closed campus drives, but in the year 2018, there is an increase in closed campus drives. The average salary offered was 3.2 lacs per annum. Only the service-oriented companies come for the drive. Training and placement staff is totally biased and impartial. No internship is allowed.

Good infrastructure, faculty member, placements, and so many extra curriculum activities.

Placements: For the mechanical branch, 2 or 3 companies came to the college and selected 30 students. The other companies like TCS, Wipro and Indian navy also came to the college. About 250 to 300 students will be placed in TCS company every year from the college. The minimum package of TCS is 3.6 LPA, and TCS organized close to campus in OIST Bhopal.

One of the best private college in Madhya Pradesh.

Placements: TCS visits our college every year. It is the main recruiter, and many other companies also recruit the students here. Many new small start-ups also started to recruit students from this college. If you study well, you will get the placement oppurtunities from the college. Students from all the branches of engineering get placement from here.

Dissatisfied as attendance is main criteria for internal marks.

Placements: This year number of placement have increased. But package is quite low (average 2 - 3 LPA). Tcs is major recruiter. For mechanical only two companies (one was vehicle insurance company ) came that too don't give technical role. Most of companies are software based. Core branches do lag placements in core companies. Remaining companies are new companies and giving BPO jobs.

Approximately 95% of students were placed.8 lacs was the highest salary which was offered by BYJU'S and 3 lacs was offered by TCS which was the lowest, overall the average salary offered was 5 lacs. Minor roles were offered to the students. None of students got internship from college. They did it from outside. Yes, there is a placement cell in our college. Placements: Regarding placement record, OIST on an average is a good college than another college in Bhopal. The main and remarkable company TCS recruited our seniors. TCS is the mass recruiter company of our college. Other than TCS, many companies visited our college like Indian Army, Indian Navy, Byju's, Wipro, etc.

The highest package offered was 3.9 lacs and the lowest package offered was 1.2 lacs. TCS was the only company which came for closed campus placement, some of the selection was through open campus placement. 20-30 % students got an internship from college.
