A money intaking machine with good outlooks and blank from inside. Unproductive in every sense.

Placements: Coming to the placements, our college says about 100% placements are there, but filling a whole bunch of students in only one same company can't be said as placements. It is just filling the quota of the company for that particular year, without concerning what field the student belongs to. This is the whole scenario of placements in our college. Coming to the salary offered, the lowest salary package is about 1.5 LPA, and the highest also is 1.5 LPA. I mean, how will the company pay about 3 to ...

Best private college in Bhopal for engineering. Best placement best faculty member with well expert.

Placements: The placements offered are good for especially for information technology and computer science. Some student also gets the placement from other branches. The average package offered is 3.5 lacs per annum. Some of the students also get the placement in the best company in MNC. Since the college has bonded with TCS and IBM. So the maximum student gets placement in TCS. Apart from this company like Samsung, etc. are also visited.

The college is too good, but the university is not good.

Placements: I was placed in TCS. I am a mechanical branch student, but I was placed in TCS. The faculty provide guidance on placements which is very valuable. My friends were placed in Triveni Turbine, and one of my friends was placed in Adani Power Plant Mundra. The overall college placement record is good.

Good infrastructure and filled up with the opportunities.

Placements: A total of 206 students were selected by the mass recruiter of our college. TCS, followed by some even bigger companies like BYJU although they hired very few like only 2 or 3. As far as we know, TCS offered them a package of 3.2 lacs per annum. That too, after 6 months training. The number has declined from more than 400, last year.

Satisfactory placement and infrastructure, but poor faculty.

Placements: The companies are coming to college for recruitment. All the time, we were worried about the current situation, and hoping that we get a job in good company. The average package of college is around 3 LPA. The college makes you ready for all the times and gives you enough opportunity to prepare for the best.

If you are self motivated and wanted to make the career, then this college is best for you.

Placements: The placements in the core branches are below average. Many companies are coming and taking students in a good number. This year Tata Consultancy Services recruited more than 200 students from different branches. As a whole, if you want to be in this field, the placements are good, but in terms of core field, it is very rare, and not a single company is visiting the campus.

A very good college with reasonable fees, faculty, placements and learning.

Placements: The placements for my batch are very good, but my senior batch's placements were excellent. Total, 75% of the students got placements from my college. India's top MNCs like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc. recruited the students. Also, some Indian based companies like Daffodils, Amdocs, etc. recruited the students, and they offered good packages to them.

OIST (Oriental group of institutes), 1995 review.

Placements: TCS is the only mass recruiter. 2 out of 5 candidates are usually placed. The average package goes like 3.6lacs per year. The package is common for all the candidates irrespective of their skills and capabilities, and it is the worst thing I noticed during placements.

Faculty members are good but placement remains a zone where much improvement is required.

Placements: Average plus placements, with average packages of around 3.5 lakhs per annum. Some core companies also visit for electronics and communication engineering and they give better packages. TCS is the major 1st-day recruiter. Mainly, software companies visit for the campus recruitment drive.

Prestigious engineering college of Bhopal, known for its infrastructure and mechanical department.

Placements: Here, the placement opportunities are good. Many companies visit Oriental Institute of Science and Technology. The college has good placement records. Mainly TCS comes for the off-campus drive. The average package was around 3.5 LPA. Wipro, Tech Mahindra, HCL, and many more companies visit here on campus drive.

OIST Review - A beautiful smooth college life

Placements: For our batch, the placements were much better than the previous year batch. 80% of the students got placed by the end of the year 2014. TCS was the only company which visited our college for closed campus selections. Other companies were a part of pooled campus hiring which included Amdocs, Syntel, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Impetus, Zycus, Persistent, LnT, Mu Sigma etc. On an average, 3-3.5 LPA was the offered package for the role of the software engineer. Mu Sigma, however being an analytics gia...

This is not what I want in thecollege, to be it is good but lacks at things which are important.

Placements: At OIST the students of the batch 2014-2018 ( seniors ) got selected in the companies as well as cracked exams such as GATE, SSB, SSC, Bank exams etc. Most of the students are placed in TCS ( as we know TCS is a mass recruiter) around 200+ students got selected out of 350-380 who sat for it. Other than TCS very fewer companies provide jobs at OIST Bhopal and if any non-mass recruiting company like Microsoft takes even one student of the college, they brag about it for next coming years. ...

Placements: The major recruitment is done by TCS and HCL. Many core companies of electronics visit as well. Overall, the placement is not bad. TCS awarded OIST as a grade-B school in Bhopal. Placements of CS and it are very good.

Placements: In the 2016 batch, 5 students from mechanical were placed in Adani Power, 35 students were placed in TCS. Other companies which visited are Sri Ram Finance, Mu Sigma, etc. For the 2017 batch, 28 students were placed in TCS and 2 in Caption Tractors. The highest salary offered was by TCS at 3.36 lakhs per annum. The average salary offered is 2.3 lakhs per annum by any company. Students are generally getting the designation of assistant engineer. College cares only about money, nothing else

Placements: There are 46% placements and there is no particular team for the T&P department. Although they take fees from us for T&P, still, they do not provide anything. We are not getting enough of opportunities as we were expecting from this college, but hopefully, they change this behavior in upcoming years to provide better placements.

The quality of faculty needs to be improved.

Placements: Enough opportunities are provided by the administration to the students. But one has to be always up to grab it. Proper training is provided by the college for the placements. Many top companies such as TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, IBM, etc. visit with their pool campus drives.

Placements: TCS is the major recruiter. The average package given to students is near about 3.3 lacs/annum. In 2015, our college had the biggest one-day placement record in which TCS took 383 students. Last year, TCS recruited 186 students. There are many other companies visiting our campus such as Tech Mahindra, Sri Ram Finance as well the Indian Navy. Indian Navy gave the package of 7 lac/annum to the qualifying candidates. Oriental Institute of Science and Technology ( OIST ) is an excellent engineering college.

Placements: There are approximately 100% placements and the computer science stream also had 100% placmments. From my batch, there were 120 students. 90 students of my batch got placed in TCS itself. I also got placed in Capgemini.

Placements: Placements are good for CSE and IT students. TCS is the major recruiter. Various companies visit for placement drives. Off-campus selection in companies like Amazon. It si okay for other branches. If you have good knowledge then you will be placed as there is no lack of drives.
