Good infrastructure with outstanding performance.

Placements: In my Mechanical Branch, around 50 to 65% of students got placed this year in the largest MNCs like Upgrad, Byju's, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Xoriant, Capgemini, etc. Around 70% students got internship in core companies like Sail, Nalco Jindal, etc.

Review of Orissa Engineering College.

Placements: OEC provides decent placements. Many MNCs like TCS Zycus, Tech Mahindra, Mu Sigma, The Happiest Minds, Amazon, Adani, etc., come for recruitment. The mass recruiting company is TCS, and it recruits a decent number of students. The highest package offered is 5 LPA by Zycus and Adani. TCS offered a package of 3 LPA, and other companies offered around 2-2.5 LPA.

Orissa Engineering College is a good college to take admission.

Placements: Our college provides average placements. About 40-50% of the students got placement at our time. You can choose the course as per your passion. The best courses are CS and IT nowadays. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Zycus and ADP visit our college for placements. The average salary package offered at our time ranges between 3-5 LPA.

It is the first private college in Odisha.

Placements: Less than 30% of the students got placed in our course. The average salary package offered to students is 3.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and many visits here for recruiting. The salary package offered in our course was less than 4 LPA. I am not sure about the students getting internships from reputed companies.

Orissa engineering college is best institution. And student can fulfil their aim easily.

Placements: 1. around 250 students are placed. 2. The highest salary offered around 4.5 and the lowest 1.2 Lacs 3. Tata consultancy services is our top recruitment company. 4. Avg package offered for the department, 3 Lacs. 5. Top roles offer for ME. Facility is too good. By the way the faculty are very experienced.

This is suitable for ideal learning.

Placements: In our college approximately 70% student got placement. And the highest salary is of 6 Lacs and the average is 3 lpa. The placements are attractive that most of the students got placed there is the placement cell on the campus outside. The college has a good training and placement venue.

I am partly dissatisfied with the facilities provided in college.

Placements: Placements of our batch and our senior batch were not good enough. Only 40% of the students got placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 28,500 per month, the lowest was Rs. 12,500 per month, and the average was Rs. 16,000 per month. All the technical companies visited our college, and engineering roles were offered to all the students. Around 20% of the students got internships from college. The stipend offered in internships is not good enough. There is a placement cell in college, and it is...

It has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: TCS, Pyramid IT solutions, Rajdeep Industry, UX Reactor, Zycus, etc, are some companies that visited this year. Some of the seniors of our batch have been placed while others are preparing for competitive exams Almost all the students do internship or summer or winter training in different organisations or colleges where some get a stipend while some not. A placement cell is present in our college which is very efficient in working.

The college is very good, and the place is peaceful.

Placements: Placements in the college are good. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Mindtree and many more visit the campus to hire the students. The placement cell got some trained faculty members. They are always there to help the students. The classrooms are very good. On every Saturday and Sunday, there are weekend classes.

I'm missing my college life.

Placements: My college is the first private college in Orissa. Placements in the college are good. About 60% of the students got placed at my time, and still, the placements are going on with a good percentage. Here, faculty members are outstanding. Laboratories are fantastic. For me, my college is the best.

The college can raise its standards further.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. I am in the 4th year, and only one company has visited our college till now. The training and placement cell is very irresponsible, and it doesn't provide any information of companies visiting the campus. An engineering college is nothing if there are no placements.

I'm partially satisfied with the college because I got placed in a company.

Placements: The placements for our batch were very good compared to our senior batch. Our batch had almost 100% placements. Many IT companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Zycus, Mind Tree, etc., visited the campus to offer placements. The college provides placements for core and non-core branch students. The core companies also visit the college to offer placements.

Average Engineering college but best in Bhubaneswar.

Placements: Average placement but was not good last year. Last year our college faced a crisis on campus recruitment. Our branch is much superior and nice branch as we have options in both core and software too. On average our college placement goes roughly through a percentage of 70-80% selection of students.

Great environment and infrastructure, average teaching staff.

Placements: The college has great placement records especially in case of the computer science and IT branch. TCS is the mass recruiter, and the average package is of 3.5 to 5 lacs per annum. Various companies like HCL, Mindtree, Wipro, Infosys, Adobe, etc. come for recruitment. Placement records of ENTC and electrical engineering are also good.

Satisfied with the college, it is worth your money.

Placements: Our placement cell is good. Last year 50 students were selected for TCS, which is the mass recruiter. Many students are selected in different companies. The lowest package offered is 2.4 LPA, and the highest is 5.6 LPA. The average package is 3.6 LPA. Many companies visit our campus for training sessions as well as for hiring. The college also provides internships for the 4th-year students, and now it is compulsory for all the students. From the senior batch, most of the students were recruited ...

OEC is the first engineering college of eastern India.

Placements: The placements in our college are quite good. Most of the IT MNCs do come with good packages. For core branches, there are quite a few opportunities, however, pool placements are frequently arranged with reputed firms. In my academic year, we had 237 odd numbers for one of the very reputable MNCs. The previous batch had good placements in mechanical sector.

Overall a good college if you are a passionate.

Placements: Placements are quite okay in terms for CSE/it branches. TCS is the main recruiter. Till the year 2015, the placement was good, but now a bit weakened. Even the TCS has now degraded from 185 students in year 2016 to 78 students this year. Few (1-2) companies visit for other branches than CSE/it.

Decent college for engineering!

Placements: Placements are decent in this college. Even if you are from core branches you have a decent chances to get placed in core companies that come into our college. College has a decent training and placement department where students of 3rd year get training like how to be in front of the interviewer. Many companies are recruiting like TCS, Mindtree, Wipro etc. Last year TCS has recruited 140 students from our college that's pretty awesome.

Placements: A good number of campus placements are there. About 95% of the students are placed in this year. The highest package is 6.5 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.3 LPA. The companies like TCS, Zycus Infotech Private Limited, Tech Mahindra, Amazon Development Center India, Ux Reactor, etc., are coming to our college. Good college but you have to work on yourself.

Placements: In my senior batch, there are total 450 students from whom only 280 got placed on-campus left are trying for off-campus, and some of them are placed now. Almost 100 of students are got placed in off campus. Actually this year all the companies followed the criteria for selecting students that's why. The number of students selected is less in number,
