It was the best in the past, but now it's the worst college.

Faculty: The instructors are good, and exams are conducted on time. The course is not completed like any other college. Exams are good as teachers are really supportive. With time, many good teachers have left the college.

Earlier it was best but now its even below mark. If you need only degree then you can go ahead.

Faculty: Faculty members are average, many talented faculty members left college because of their administration-related issues. Lab attendants are not up to mark. The course curriculum is fine. The course is never completed completely, out of 4 modules,2 or 3 modules are taught properly and one module is just left for the student due to lack of time. Even some professors are great at their work but the majority is like time pass.

Good infrastructure with outstanding performance.

Faculty: Most of the teaching facilities are from IITs, NITs with 14 to 16 years of industrial skills and some of our professionals in PhD. Obviously, our curriculum is based upon the state university and affiliated with AICTE. This knowledge and our professional teachers train the students for industrial related work. Not that difficult, because our faculty members have a different style of teaching which make each and every student learn and understand the curriculum easily as they can crack and top th...

It is a very good college.

Faculty: All the faculty members are highly trained and well educated here. There are faculty members for every department. Every department has its HOD who takes care of the classes and faculty members. Students have the freedom to share their problem if they want to change the faculty member.

Review of Orissa Engineering College.

Faculty: The faculty members are in numerous numbers, and they are well qualified and teach very nicely. Many teachers are IIT pass outs or doing M.Tech from IITs. The courses are completed before the semester-end. There are internal exams before every semester. Classrooms have CCTV cameras and projectors. There is a separate department for training and placement, which has all facilities of projectors and air-conditioners. The training and placement team nurtures students to get placed in companies. The...

Our college is a one stop solution for engineering students across India .

Faculty: Teachers in our college were well-versed with subject knowledge and expertise. The course curriculum was relevant to the engineering aspect but not updated as per industry standards. Students had to learn industrial skills on their own. Teachers were very helpful.

Orissa Engineering College is a good college to take admission.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching skills are very good. They have both theoretical and practical experience. The course curriculum is relevant. They make students learn the experiments in detail so that students become ready for industry.

It is a good college, and it shaped my career graph.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college were excellent. HOD, professors, assistant professors, and guest lecturers were all helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready and it is not just theoretical, but also keeps in mind the practical approach of the solution.

Placement is good but now days it's not getting good because of the current situation .

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. Some teachers are Ph.D. Holder and M.Tech from IITs. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is really great. The course curriculum relevant is good. The students are ready for industry.

Our college has a really good infrastructure and facilities.

Faculty: All the teachers here are qualified, and some teachers also have a PhD degree. They are also helpful to students and also knowledgeable. So they teach like a professional. This computer science engineering (CSE) course is surely easy, and it makes students industry-ready.

The worst experience. Wastage of time and money.

Faculty: Not all, only few teachers are well qualified, helpful and knowledgeable. This college do not make students industry ready. The worst college ever. There is no proper class conduction. Some teachers are also not so good. Only few of them support and provide proper knowledge.

I am absolutely dissatisfied due to college management, bad infrastructure and bad placements.

Faculty: All the teachers were not qualified to teach proper engineering subject except for 2 or 3 teachers. They always used to teach from their notes and make us copy it. So, we just passed our engineering. In the last semester, our exams are strict because they had conducted in another college.

In short,College was on top in previous years but now,it is in bottom. It is on verge of being closed

Faculty: Teachers were qualified and helpful but most of such faculty members have left due to no payment since many months and even remaining teachers and staffs are not getting salary, so no classes are conducted. Students have to study from themselves for exams, very difficult for students.

I am highly dissatisfied with the college because of its management.

Faculty: Teachers here were well qualified for the course. They were helpful. The teaching quality was good for 1st year, but as you go up your years, you will have to manage your own studies. The course taught here was not that much enough to compete in today's era.

I'm dissatisfied due to teachers, infrastructure and facilities, but it had good placements in 2015.

Faculty: Nowadays, teachers are busy in a strike for their salary. They are helpful to us to qualify in exams but not helpful to gain knowledge. Their teaching quality was good before 1 year, but not now. This course is not relevant to the curriculum. It does not make students industry-ready.
