B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2016

It is not a good for your career.
Placements: No placement was provided in any company. Passed out students were very less. Don't waste time joining this college. Internships are very less. The salary offered is very low at Rs. 6,000 per month. The life of pass out students and their carrier got worst by joining this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was good enough for engineering college. Wi-Fi was not available. Labs, libraries and classrooms on the campus were good. The hostel was the worst. A room had to be shared by six students. The food served was good. Other facilities provided were also good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were are good, but basically, English was used for teaching lessons. The M.E pass out people were teaching, and they were not knowledgeable.
Other: I chose ECE because it was good for selection wise, but for a career in engineering, it is the worst. You have to learn something apart from college teaching by joining any other course for ECE oriented. It is the worst college in Trichy city.

There are good faculty members. There are poor facilities.
Placements: There are almost zero placements in our course. The salary offered for the other department students is Rs. 9,000 per month. Cognizant is the top recruiter. Programmer analyst trainee is the role offered. None of the students got internships while I was studying in our course.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi. There is a good library, but it is of no use as teachers do not give free time. There are goods labs. But there is no good canteen. I don't know about the hostel because I was a day scholar. Facility wise, it is not bad. But not good interiors in the hostel. They encourage some sports, and students' skills were good.
Faculty: Definitely, some good faculty members are there. There are good faculty members in our department. They are knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. But they are all only helpful to get some good scores, but not for understanding the concept. Anyway, something is good to clear arrears.

Dissatisfied with the placements. Faculty members are good.
Placements: There are no placements in this college. The management is not even trying to provide it. It is a bad thing in college. A placement cell is available, but they do nothing for us. If get placed through off-campus drives held in other colleges, they will put your photo in their achievements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not much good. A library is available but has only old books. They say that the campus is Wi-Fi enabled, but it is not. Hostel rooms are okay to stay in. Food provided there is a major problem. Breakfast provided is the food cooked last night. Major machines are present in the college, but the fact is that they are not working.
Faculty: Faculty members are friendly with students. They are knowledgeable. The student-faculty ratio is 60:1, and another important fact is that for all the 8 semesters, you can see almost 60 faculty members because they keep on changing. Faculty members leave the college after one semester because of salary issues. Good staffs left the college due to this issue.
Other: The mechanical department fest was last held in 2012, and thereafter, no events are conducted. Scholarships are available for students who got admission through counselling.

An average college, the worst placements, and average classes.
Placements: The placements in our college are the worst. The college doesn't provide placements to many students. Only one company visits the college, but it is not a good company. The salaries offered are very low. The training provided is average.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is bad. The lab equipment and instruments don't work properly. The college provided only 3 buses for transport, in the cities. The college environment is poor. The strength of students is decreased in our college. Overall, it is an average college.
Faculty: The number of faculty in our college is decreasing gradually. They are good at teaching us, but the notes are not provided regularly. The books are provided at the end of the semester exams.
Other: Our college doesn't conduct any fest or symposium.

Not worth for knowledgeable students.
Placements: No placement are provided on our campus. The hostel is waste regarding placements. They'll suggest only off-campus, only BPO and non-core companies were suggested. The job opportunity through this college is very low. Regarding the job wise, the college is very poor.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is poor. The campus is small, and buildings are not maintained well. No renovative works have been done to them. There is lack of facilities. The books available in the libraries are a few. Labs are not well-maintained so far.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are knowledgeable. Some are waste that they do not even know how to teach. There's lack of staffs for non-core papers. Some of the staffs come only for their training purposes and to gain experience. Less number of staffs are postgraduates.
Other: Non of the events were held. The campus crowd was low. The connectivity is good, the and campus is nearer to central bus terminals. The scholarships were provided, but there are no extracurricular activities.

Its suits for those who want just a degree.
Placements: There is no placements in this college. If we got good scores they won't recommend to a good job. They will pressure us to look for a good job without any reference. We need to try in off campus placements only. If the person wants to complete his degree then he can do here.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were good with enough windows and doors. College atmosphere were surrounded by full of trees which provides nice air circulation. And all others facilities are not up to the level for example library is not updated with new books, they will not give much importance and motivation in sports and cultural activities. Hostel and hostel food was the worst. In canteen they won't provide what we want, they provide what is available, that too we don't have choices. In labs half of the machines won't work properly. Wi-fi is there but they won't switch on.
Faculty: Teachers are not good enough to take classes. This is due to they don't have much experience in teaching because those who took classes are previous year passed out students. Course curriculum is not useful because teaching method was not good, teachers just want to finish their syllabus.
Other: They will not give importance to sports. There is no cultural, events, scholarship, symposium, fest.
