The college focus only on money. Placements are not good here.

Placements: Very few students got placed, and half of the students didn't get a job yet. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 5,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. The highest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. Capgemini is the only top recruiting company to visit our college for placements. The software engineer was the top roles offered to students. Almost 90% of the students got an internship in MSME.

It's a good college but placements are not good.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. Almost 25% of the students in our batch got placed. The salary package offered ranges from 1.5 LPA to 3.5 LPA. Most of the pool campus drives are organised. Students are taken to different pool campus exams and interviews.

It is a good college if you are looking for pursuing BCA course.

Placements: Placements provided in our college were good enough. Students need to work hard for getting placed. Many students from our batch got placed in Capgemini, Infosys, etc. Special aptitude and grooming classes were provided. Students should attend those classes to face the interviews easily. Almost 70 to 80% of placements were expected.

Faculty members are helpful. Placements and infrastructure are good.

Placements: Placements in college are good. The placement cells are active, and I received two offer letters before graduation. The best thing about college placement is that the authorities arrange a lot of counselling session so that students can be successful. The teachers are also very helpful if you need to clarify your doubts regarding placements or need any help.

Whether you have decent scores in your school boards or not, don't consider this college.

Placements: There were no placements provided for either our batch or the previous batch, except some call centre jobs were offered with salaries of Rs. 8,000-12,000 per month. There were no particular on-campus placements held for this particular year, and a couple of times, students were sent for off-campus drives which only helped one student getting a job at Tata Consultancy Services (a BPO) with a salary of Rs. 17,000 per month. The placement cell is just for namesake for our particular course, with mi...

Faculty members are good, but the placements are bad.

Placements: We were told that the campusing was very good in the previous year. But at our time, it was not much good. Companies that visited our college offered the salaries of only Rs. 8,000 per month to Rs. 10,000 per month, and it is present outside of Kolkata. Only BPO companies offer placements. It is quite tough to survive outside Kolkata with that salary packages.

It's a good college, but the placements are not assured.

Placements: One should not rely on the college for placements; students should be talented enough to get placed. Placements were provided for our batch. MindTree, TCS and others companies visited the college. Three to four students of our batch are working for TCS and CTS.

It is a college with average infrastructure.

Placements: There are not many great opportunities for on-campus placements. There are moderate opportunities in pool campus placements where a number of different colleges participate too. For on-campus drives, mostly IT startups come with offers and roles related to testing, development and voice process with an average package of 2-2.5 LPA.

I am happy because our faculties helped a lot;really good infrastructure and average placements.

Placements: Our college offered many placements for us from our 7th semester only. For e. g. Amazon, Flipkart, Genpact, Yahoo and many more. They offered us the post of Assistant Engineers and average salary offered to us.50% of students were placed in final year. Moreover it was good experience for us.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placement in 2017.

Placements: No proper IT Company placements were given, voice process an BPO type of opportunities were provided. Very few percent of students were placed. Mainly off campuses were conducted. Not even 2 LPA as a salary was provided by the companies. Not an MNC was brought for campusing.

Our college is not worth the money, and don't take admission here.

Placements: Placements in our college are very bad, i.e., there are no placements in our college. None of the good companies visits our college to offer placements. Few companies visit our college, but most of them are fake. The average package offered was 1 LPA. There is no proper placement cell in the college. Our college doesn't have any tie-up with big companies. None of the IT companies visited our college to offer placements.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the placement procedure.

Placements: Placements were average for our seniors and the students of 2017 batch. The highest salary offered was Rs. 12,000 per month and the lowest salary was Rs. 10,000 per month. The college has a placement cell, but it is not much effective. Renowned companies haven't visited the college. Companies offered marketing and sales jobs to the students.

Absolutely dissatisfied due to faculty, infrastructure and lies told.

Placements: On-campus placement is very poor. Atmost 3 candidates might get placed. Students are taken to different pool campus interviews and exams to opt for the jobs among a large number of candidates. Some of our seniors got placed in TCS. Average salary offered is about 16000.

Partly satisfied with a few faculty members and good infrastructure. Dissatisfied with placement.

Placements: Placement is not quite good. Students of our senior batch did not get job from college campusing. The highest salary offered was 20K/month and minimum was 12K/month. None of my batch mates got any stipend during internship. There is a placement cell in our college.

TRY TO AVOID ADMITTING IN PCMT (pailan management and technology). .

Placements: B.Tech is started recently here, our college give placements but not too much. Some minor companies come here and take very few students with them. In future I hope this condition will change but in current situation it is poor as much I know. Management is good though. Students of BBA and MBA streams got better opportunities. B.Tech students hardly got 8-10k salary job offer with flooding and lodging facility.

College has improved from its past years. It has a good infrastructure, and knowledgeable faculty.

Placements: Firstly, let me say that it is such a course which will open an option to earn in every way. After completing the last one-year internship from any good eye hospital, you can either join that eye hospital or can join any optical company or can open your own clinic, start your own practice, own business of specs and contact lens. Nowadays, there is a huge demand for a good optometrist in the opticals. Earlier in our previous batches, it was tough to get placements from college. From our year, the...

A College that you can Trust upon.

Placements: Placement Cell is good. Companies come & conduct their interviews at the campus but due to the way old syllabus of MAKAUT, students become ineligible to qualify in the successive rounds. The Placement Cell is very active. They Keep on organising Seminars & bring out companies so that no students are left behind.

If you're looking for a certificate of a regular course, then get a certificate.

Placements: The TPO himself is too irresponsible. Just another pet of the registrar whose main agenda is to earn money at any cost. On-campus placements are a myth here, or rather placement is a myth. If some BPO does come along and they clear you for the next round, the college puts it up on their website as you have been recruited in some highly dignified firm.

Pailan college of management and technology is a very mediocre college and placements are huge.

Placements: Very few placements took place, and the placements were very unsatisfying. The companies and the job opportunities that were available were not appropriate for a BBA student. We were not properly informed and the salary provided was very low. We were very disappointed.
