Navigating Mediocrity: A candid review of Pailan college of management and technology.
Placements: There is no placement in this college; Its only suitable for a job candidate or someone who just needs a degree for GATE or any other hobbies. Although there is a regular update regarding off-campus opportunities on the college notice board,. Apart from that, its all your hard work, no role of college.
Infrastructure: All classrooms have AC and the whole campus has free Wi-Fi. But the buildings have been under development for a long time. PCMT is not very big, like other colleges in West Bengal, with the same fee. There is better infrastructure at other colleges at the same price.
Faculty: Faculty is very helpful and is always willing to support us. Students in CSE are very less exposed to real market demands; mostly, it is the student's hard work that can bring him success outside of college. There are CA betweem every semester, just like all MAKAUT colleges; semesters are of moderate difficulty.

Our college is not bad, it is an average college in every aspect.
Placements: Our college's placement is average but not bad. 80% students of our previous batch from department of CSE is already placed in reputed company like WIPRO etc. They are on manager role at the reputed company that is based on CSE but not my core job from department of EEE (electrical and electronics engineering ). The highest package is INR 3 LPA and the lowest is INR 2 LPA and every year 30-40% students got internship as well.
Infrastructure: Better infrastructure , like free Wi-Fi, AC Classrooms, free library and each day you can take your subject related book from our library . Very co - operative teachers are here for library. Hostel facility, mess and canteen is also good. There are different hostel present for boys and girls.
Faculty: Great and very helpful faculty members are there. They are very co - operative, if your have any query or doubts in your class then you can freely ask the teachers again and again without any hesitation. 98% students passed their semester exam and it is not very difficult, it is average. Curriculum makes students industry ready, so don't worry about that.

College is good but the hostel facility is not good enough .
Placements: Placement is good but not the best. Companies come and take interviews for their requirements. Lens Kart, Titan Eye, and similar companies are also interested in this placement work. They have hired our seniors before. The percentage of students getting placed from the college is on average 60%. But it depends on the students of the batch. Also, the package is 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, but the hostel is not. The hostel is moderate. There is no mess for food; you should go to the market and buy some food for yourself. The college provides medical facilities and has its own ambulance. The principal of the college also provides inspiration for sports and cultural functions.
Faculty: At first, the faculty members are very helpful and friendly. They always try to give you some knowledge about all things apart from studying. They are also very good and sufficient for teaching us. The HOD Ma'am is strict but not all the time. The exams are not very well-taught, but if you study and show interest in all your subjects, you will manage.
Other: My course is a medical-related course. I usually think about social service. In this course, I do that very simply. The campus is a very large area, but other people also live here.

The Pailan College of management and technology is a good college.
Placements: The placements at Pailan college of management and technology are good. After completing this course, or during placements are available for the batch. They organize the campus drive and finalized the shortlisted students.
Infrastructure: The hostel of our college is available and also a good hostel is here at Pailan college of management and technology. There are different types of hostels here, that is boys' hostel and girls' hostel, both present. The infrastructure of our course is also good.
Faculty: Our faculty members are good, they are very helpful, after your class if you have any doubts or queries, then you can ask them without any hesitation, they will help you, very good faculty members are present at our college. They are all very helpful. There is an internal exam, and the exam will be held regularly and also semester wise which is very helpful to students.

Placements: Placements at our college are good. The maximum number of Pailan College of Management and Technology placements are off campus, and the minimum number of placements are on campus. Many students are placed off campus.
Infrastructure: The hostel at our college is good because different types of food are available. Two types of hostels are available i.e. boys hostel and girls hostel. The infrastructure is good.
Faculty: Our faculty members are outstanding. They are very helpful. If you have any questions or doubts after the class, you can ask them without hesitation, and you will get the correct answer.

We have very talented teachers.
Placements: Placement of our college is good not bad. But maximum is off campus minimum is on campus placement to our college and not core type job here so this is a actual problem for us otherwise the placement of our college is not bad, it is good placement type college.
Infrastructure: The hostel of pailan college of management and technology is good, there are different types hostel is present that is male and female both type hostel is here at pailan college of management and technology. And also infrastructure is good of our college.
Faculty: The faculty members of our college is very good and they are very helpful for students, after the class if your have any doubts or query then you can ask them with any hesitation. The are very remuneration and the exam of sour college is happened regular basis.
Other: Our previous senior batch have 100% placement from our college.

No placement. Not a single company visits there for campus placement. I would not recommend Pailan Group of Institutions for any one far or near. They show you a lot of hopes and talks about internships and placements during the course period but that never have been existed during my 3 years colleg
