Placements: The placements of our college are very good. The placement cell is very active. Many big firms come in our college and they pick every student. Also, in our college, last year, the highest package was Rs. 7,00,000 per annum, which was average when compared Sri Ram College of Commerce.
Placements: The placements were average. The placement cell made a nice effort, but they should focus more on bringing diverse companies into the campus. Most of them were B.Com specific, so it would be nice if they focus on all the courses. Some formal training for the interviews beforehand would also be a nice initiative by the college as it would help the students gain confidence before they give an interview for the very first time in their lives. Also, the internship opportunities every year would enha...
Placements: The college placement cell is of the biggest and best in the university. The efforts of the placement cell are countless. The college holds the record for the maximum number of placements. The maximum focus is given on internships to the students. The package is average as compared to current situations.
Placements: Placements were good. Some good companies which are among big 4 Ernst & Young, KPMG came for recruitment. Also, RBS Bank, ICICI Bank, Genpact, Accenture also came for recruitment. Moreover, some start-ups also came like Urbanclap that offered a decent amount of 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Moreover, some other companies also came which provides a very good growth opportunity in the future.
Placements: The placements are fine for the graduating students. More than 25 companies visited the campus in one academic period which offers an average package of around 2.8 LPA. Many of the companies visit like EY, ICICI, Alight Solutions, Red Rock, Wipro, etc. The placement cell is very active in the college as they also organise the internship fair in the college for summer and winter internship.
Placements: Placement opportunities were way too less. I was looking for further studies so it did not affect me but if you are looking for some placement opportunities then you can't rely on the college only. Though if you want to develop your personality you should go for it.
Placements: 50% placement with an average salary. Companies are very liberal in case of placement. But generally, grade B or C post is given in the private sector. Hardly any student, after completion of the course, goes beyond a BPO job.
Placements: Companies like RBS, AON, Ernst and Young, Deloitte, and PwC visit our college. Roles like Assurance associate, customer sales executive etc. are offered to students for placement. Many startups also visit our college for recruitment. They offer internships as well.
Placements: Companies like EY visit almost every year from past 3-4 years to take eligible candidates for the job placements. The placement cell is one of the biggest in DU.teachers are also take the initiative in placement procedures and direct the students towards the achievement of their goals. More the 400 placements take place last year and the number is increasing day by day this year. Students are offered packages of high salaries too. More than 50 students are connected with the placement cell and t...
Placements: Companies like Concentrix visited for campus placement, mainly offering jobs in tech and sales departments this year. 15-20% students got a job. The average salary was 20k. Approximately 4-5 visits have been made by different companies till date. The students are offered jobs based on their own capabilities and scores till date.
Placements: The average package around offered to students is 5 lakhs per annum, it may vary course to course. Placements are offered by highly reputed companies. In 2015 it was from 4 lakhs per annum to 7 lakhs per annum. Many of the students have got the job. Every course's placement is available. What students need to do is just register themselves and go to the interview.
Placements: We have companies such as EY, Willis Tower Watson, PwC acturial, RBS, AON, FIS, and others which visit for campus placements. We also have companies visiting for off-campus recruitment such as Inshorts, offering a package of 4.2 LPA. The companies namely Redrock and Teckfactory have also been included in our list recently.
Placements: The college-organized placements were average to below average. The package offered to my batch and senior batch was ranging between 1-3 lacs. The central placement cell of the university had slightly better internships, packages and profiles on offer. You're pretty much on your own for placements.
Placements: The placement in PGDAV was pretty good. There was a dedicated society for managing the flow of opportunities. The flow couldn't meet the expectation but gave a network to the people to which can help them to sort things out for their career. Though incentives were okay, as just undergraduates, it was fine enough as well to carry out expense and fun as a college student.
Placements: PGDAV's placement cell is good but it obviously needs improvement. It's still not the best cell in University of Delhi but yes, our team is good enough to make it one of the best. Some of my friends are placed through it, but it still needs betterment. We have got a hard-working team which has the potential to make it better in the near future and help the students in getting placed through that. But the question is- how can you expect to get placed just after graduation? (except B.Tech and ...
Placements: The college has a placement cell which provides the opportunity for placement through the college. Many prestigious companies like Ernst Young, Larsen & Toubro, Genpact, Concentrix Corporation, IBM, ICICI, IIFM, etc. visited the college. Most of the students who registered in the placement got final placements. Many were selected for various internship programmes. The cell is in the continuous process of developing.
Placements: There is no system for the placements. I don’t understand why any company is interested in recruiting students from this college. There is a placement cell in the college, and a handful of companies come for the recruitment of B.Com students. They only take a handful of students. So never think that you will be placed in some company after completing your graduation from this college.
Placements: Majority of the students from the department of political science at P.G.D.A.V. College go for higher studies or appear for competitive exams like UPSC/SSC/CDS/MBA. Therefore, placements, especially for the political science students are not provided as of now. Nevertheless, we have companies like Aon Hewitt, Royal Bank of Scotland, Tommy Hilfiger who place the students of political science every year. Majority of them visit the campus for customer care executive jobs or operational jobs. Also, ...
