Reality of Paramekkavu college, Thrissur.

Placements: The percentage of students getting placed is very low because the recurring partner is not so big; it's just an average company that provides only low-salary jobs. Freshmen average getting only INR 10–15k per month after graduation from here and getting placement. There is no internship program to improve skills and no add-on course option.

Infrastructure: There is no college hostel. The canteen was decent, but it was vegetarian, and the price of food was average. The quantity and quality were good for the price. Here, the college only has an electronics lab and a computer lab. For reference, we have a decent library with 100 books. Overall, the campus is average.

Faculty: The exam hall and teachers are good, but the university this college is under is very bad. It has been 1 year since my first semester examination results were published, and next month is my 3rd semester examination. This is the curriculum and exam experience. The faculty is good, but half of the teachers are new and don't have enough here. That's a problem.

Other: There are only 500 students. So the events in college are very minimal and average; for the last sports event, there were not enough participants. So that event experience was really bad.

It is good for students who want to enjoy their college life.

Placements: A minimum of 50% is needed to join the science courses, and a pass mark is required for other courses. We have internships to offer students. The canteen and food are great, and the food is very tasty. They have great parking spaces for students. And they have a free shuttle bus from the bus stop.

Infrastructure: A high-quality lab and library are provided, and good sports clubs and grounds are available. There are no college hostels provided by the college. The canteen has great food and seating arrangements. The canteen has the best chefs and cooks. Their behavior toward students is great.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and supportive. Semester exams are tough, according to the course and the students brilliance. The examiners are very strict and work under CCTV surveillance, and the students cannot commit any malpractice in the exam hall. The teachers are very young, and they have a good vibe.

Other: This course is great for programs.

A college with the best faculty and facilities .

Placements: The student's who have 75% in their plus two will get admission in our college for B.Sc. computer Science. The entire course fee of 3 year degree us 1.5 Lacs and for the 4 year degree plan you have to pay around 2 Lacs. Per semester with 25K. Placement in this college is rare. They have started to give Placement for the 2024 pass outs. According to your skill basement you ll get the job.

Infrastructure: Paramekkavu college of arts and Science technology is situated around the paddy field which gives us the pleasure to study. The college have computer lab and electronics lab with a good Wi-Fi connection. The library with silence is good to refer the other textbooks for your seminar, assignment and for the exams. This college are not providing the college hostel facilities. The primary medicine are available in office room and for injury they provide medicine in our sports cabins. College is provided with a quality with quantity food for the price which is good when it is compared to the outside.

Faculty: Yes, They are very supportive in our academics as well as in career development. They will give instructions throughout the year for our better future. Teachers are well qualified. They try to complete the portions on time. Conduct exams for assessment of students progress. They will clear our queries during the class. Or we can approach them in intervel time or by call they are available. They give lecture notes, pdf notes, also uses presentation for teaching. 5th and 6th Semester exams are little tough for an average student to get passed because of the portions but our teachers try their maximum to score good marks .

Other: Teachers make us aware about the syllabus. They teach according to the syllabus. They prepare notes and presentations for us. They go through the previous year question papers and give us important topics for studying. That helps students a lot. There are enough teachers for each courses Number of programs happening are pretty low compared to other colleges where my friends are studying. I have got only one programme, that is arts day, during my first year, that too after many postponding. Sports day have cut shortened to one day programme. This college basically focuses on academics. Therefore it is hard to get approval for conducting events. It is a ragging free campus. There are many spots inside and outside the campus for relaxing. This campus has a good atmosphere. Faculty members here are well qualified and friendly in behavior. A little bit strict but not very strict. This college mainly focuses academics. College events or programs are less. This college has a good and maintained infrastructure. Academicwise, they are wll planned in completing portions and conducting exams .

Paramekkavu College of Arts and Science is a developing college in Thrissur.

Placements: Our college neither provides placements nor internships. The average percentage of students is below 50%. The college started in 2013, and it is developing every year, so for now, this is the situation in the college. The pass-out rate of the college is very low, so refer to another college before joining.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi on campus. The lab and library are decent. They are not so advanced and large. The canteen is like a small tea shop. It does not have many items. Hostel service is not provided in this college. Classrooms are like those in high schools. They have an average setup. There are no smart classrooms.

Faculty: Faculty members are average. Higher percentage of teachers are freshers without experience, but they work better than experienced teachers. Senior teachers do not possess the latest knowledge. Exams are very tough, but with the help of teachers, we can score if we study well.

Other: The participation of students in sports and fests is very low, so our college management also gives the importance to them.

I am satisfied with this college.

Placements: Our college provides a high chance of getting placed. A good percentage of students got selected. Students got salaries ranging from Rs. 15,000 per month to Rs. 45,000 per month. There are many recruiters, like Wipro and Infosys. About 50% of students got internships this year. Students can get into positions like assistant managers and executives.

Infrastructure: Computer labs are great. They provide high-speed internet connections for students. To increase our reading habits, there is a wonderful library with a wide range of books. Hostels are great. The food is good. There is a canteen in the college. Sports are good here.

Faculty: Teachers are great. They help you with your studies. If you can study well and focus on your studies, you can pass.

Other: I chose this course because I like computer-oriented studies. There are some events and fests.
