A great place to study for students

Placements: It is lagging in some aspects and needs a bit improvement but I am very hopeful about its future. In our college TCS, Wipro, etc. visit for placement and they also offer very average kind of placement. Apart from these, no good company comes here. These companies give an annual package of Rs 1.8 lakhs.

The college is very reputed. Infrastructure is old. Not many placements.

Placements: There are not much placement opportunities after B.Sc so most of the students go for M.Sc or any other major. I was not interested in placement as well because we need to do a masters degree after B.Sc to get a placement in a good company. So there was no placement as such in the college.

This is the best science college in Patna University, with a clean campus. The professors are good in behaviour and their teaching skills are very good. It has an in-campus hostel named Newton which was started along with college. four more hostels were completed, which areFaraday House, Cavendish House, Ramanujam Bhawan and C.V. Raman Hostel, named after world famous scientists and mathematicians. The college has five laboratories, located in separate buildings. For sports facilities, there is ...

Satisfied because faculty and infrastructure are the best. Recommended for natives.

Placements: Patna Science College is one of the best government colleges in Bihar. For students residing in Bihar and who can't afford to study outside, this is one of the best colleges to enroll in. Although it doesn't offer direct campus placements to the students. Nevertheless, the college gives you a very good environment for your overall development. Many internship programs by different organizations and government ministries are made available to the students. My course (B.Sc. zoology hons. ) offers ...

A journey through Patna university academic brilliance and supportive community.

Placements: About 30% of students were placed in our college. I have taken B.Sc. Mathematics (honours). The highest package in my course is approximately 3 -4 Lacs and the lowest package in my course is approximately 50-60k. The top recruiting company is Tata consultancy services.

Not worth going because of placement cell, faculty members.

Placements: Campus Placement is very low. Only a few organisation visit. Average Package is Rs 300000 per annum. For many years Companies and Organisations don't visit here. There is a placement Cell which isn't active. So overall I would not suggest anyone to come here if they are expecting a Campus placement from here.

Our college is good in faculty members, but placements are low.

Placements: In this college, many courses are studied. I am from physics honor. Our faculty head of department professor is a kind person and has good knowledge about placements so, nowadays about 8% of students have placements. The lowest salary offered is about Rs 25,000, and the highest salary offered is Rs 85,000. Many companies like Infosys, Tata, Mahindra, etc. Nearly 5% of students get internships from companies like Infosys. The site manager is the top role offered.

It is a good college to complete graduation course like BCA, B.Sc, B.Com, etc.

Placements: In our batch, about 71% of students got placed at a reputed post. The highest salary package offered was around 4.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Around 80% of the students got internships in TCS, Jindal, Reliance, etc. According to the fee structure charged, everything is good and slightly better.

Meritious students who do not get admission in IITs could opt for this course.

Placements: There are no direct placements from our branch. But, this gives a platform for students to get selected in various research institutes through various competitive exam such as JAM. One can get selected in BARC and IAPT. Our department provides good faculty members for the enrichment of knowledge and research in various field of physics.

PSC is developed in the country and provided much to society.

Placements: I persued chemistry honours as my prime course. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. Wipro and other chemist companies visit our campus for placements. The top roles offered in our course are chemist and druggist. Recently, the average salary package offered is 3 LPA. Almost 60% of the students got internships, and they mostly got in Alkem India.

It is great as per the basic requirements are concerned, but needs to work towards job options.

Placements: There's no scope of placements in this particular field in any of the colleges at graduation level whether it is Patna University, Delhi University, or any other central university. Some private colleges do offer some placements in pharmaceutical companies and pest control companies. But there's a little scope of placements after masters in the particular course. Top roles that can be offered in botany is the job of a professor or research scientists. Students can also work in the forest departm...

It is a very bad decision to pursue BCA from Patna Science College.

Placements: The college lacks placements and job opportunities, and also it doesn't have a placement cell. Because of the low-quality course curriculum, chances for placements in reputed companies are very less here. If students are very talented, then they can get a job in companies like Wipro, TCS, etc.

Patna Science College is the best in town.

Placements: If you see through placement in these type of government universities, you will end up getting admission in the wrong college. Recently, the average salary offered is nearly Rs. 20,000-25,000 per month and even you get better than this if you have a better percentage in academics. I recommend you to opt for further studies here as you have a better chance to be a researcher as people here are very competitive. I also suggest you should also go for research.
