PML SD Business School, Chandigarh Interacts with Samaira Sandhu

May 9, 2022: On May 7, Samaira Sandhu, an Indian film actress, model, author, and former beauty queen, came to our PML SD Business School, Chandigarh campus to share her success story with the teachers and students. She was born and raised in Chandigarh and began her acting career in 2017 with the part of Heroine in the Tamil psychological thriller film "Dhayam." She also has a starring role in a Telugu film that will be released soon, as well as a role in the Punjabi film 'Umran Ch Ki Rakheya,' which was recently released. She was really impressed with the B-School instructors and infrastructure while on campus.

She began her work in the corporate sector as an engineer and MBA. She has also written a book called "Heaven in a Hell." She has given the City Beautiful a lot of popularity and recognition.

She was impressed by SD College in Chandigarh, prompting her to connect with students at PML SD Business School, the city's leading management education institute.

PML SD Business School Organises An Interactive Session With Rahul Narvekar

April 27, 2022: PML SD Business School hosted an interactive discussion on Rahul Narvekar's success story, who is a first-generation entrepreneur and alumnus of IIM – C and Harvard Business School. He was greeted by the Business School's President, Upkar K Sharma, and Director, Dr KL Dhingra.

The goal of the session was to inspire our young children to think differently and to always be optimistic. He took everyone on a tour through his life, starting in the chawls of Bombay and ending up in Palo Alto, California, where he is now developing up a Global City on Meta Verse named Purple City.

His life journey has been a shining example of NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE—he highlighted that the human mind is the most powerful tool and that anything is achievable with a good attitude. Today, he is in high demand in a variety of fields, with people from all walks of life seeking his assistance.

His life's ambition is to develop one million entrepreneurs from tier 2/3 communities around the country.

Ex Regional Director, RBI, Chandigarh, Addresses Students of PML SD Business School

March 11, 2022: For the benefit of the students of PML SD Business School, Chandigarh, organised an interaction on 'Need for Capital Account Convertibility' facilitated by Jyoti Kumar Pandey, who demitted the charge of Regional Director of Reserve Bank of India's Chandigarh Office.

Pandey discussed numerous facets of the capital account, including how currency changes affect it. He then moved on to the Trilemma component of decision-making, which includes unfettered capital flows, a fixed exchange rate, and autonomous monetary policy. He also listed the policies that have lately been enacted to ensure market credit discipline. The students benefited significantly from the discussion and complimented Dr K L Dhingra, Director, as well as the Business School Management, for organising such an instructive event.

Pandey has been with the regulator for more than three decades and has extensive expertise in the Reserve Bank of India's Forex Department. He just vacated his position as Regional Director, RBI, Chandigarh, on February 28, 2022.

PML SD Business School Hosts Workshop Themed ‘Management With Joy’

February 24, 2022: Today, the Chandigarh Management Association and PML SD Business School celebrated National Management Day at the seminar hall of PML SD Business School, which was attended by CMA Past Presidents, Life Members, staff, and students from SD Business School and SD college. Prof SK Tomar, DUI, Panjab University, Chandigarh, was the programme's Chief Guest. The programme's theme was Managing with Joy. PK Khurana, the Happiness Guru, was the featured speaker on the occasion.

PK Khurana elaborated on the theme, stating that under the Modern Management System, we should have a purpose, a system to achieve that objective, automation of routine chores, and a robust marketing system, but most importantly, a team that will follow our vision. They should work for us and have the same motivation and relationship as we do.

A Memorandum of Understanding was also inked between PML SD Business School and CMA in order to strengthen academic-industry ties.

SD B School Invites Roshan L. Joseph, Sales & Marketing Expert For An Interactive Session

January 1, 2021: Chandigarh based, one of the renowned management school PML SD Business School invited Roshan L. Joseph, a Sales & Marketing specialist and industry practitioner, for an interactive session with semester one students.

Joseph spoke passionately about his experience as the Executive Director of Eveready Industries India Ltd. Board of Directors and other high roles in the company. The kids were not only excited but also curious about the intricacies of the business world. The participants were able to measure the capabilities required for a management professional thanks to the practitioner's perspective.
