2023–2025 BCA student review.
Placements: Poddar International College, Jaipur. On 100 students, 20 students are placed, which means a 20% selection ratio. And there are not so many good placement because the average salary is between 2 and 3 LPA in our BCA course. In business roles, it can go up to 7-8 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, Flipkart, and Acer.
Infrastructure: Our college has Wi-Fi, but I don't know why they don't tell us the password. The labs are fine, and the and the classrooms are good, but in college we have no pure water, so it is off. In our college, there is no official hostel; in the canteen, food is good for the price; we have a gym; and we have other playing options.
Faculty: All teacher are not helpful some teachers are only helpful and they address students on their projects and all stuff or in study. The course of our BCA has been updated since 2023, so it's beneficial for someone who wants to do BCA. I would suggest Poddar International College.
Other: Last year, our seniors were very hilly, and they helped us to know that in college life, what we had to do, and all, and told us to hill.

Review of BCA in Poddar International College.
Placements: According to my research, 20% or less of students are placed every year in BCA. Last year, among 70, only 15 students got placed. The highest package offered was 4.6 LPA, the average stands around 1.5 LPA, and the lowest gets around 80k-1.2 LPA. Recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Celebal Technologies, Pedestial Technologies, and some startup companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is poor as the campus is very small; there's only one building and no garden; there's no ground parking space; classrooms are awfully colorless; and there's no AC projectors in class but Wi-Fi barely works. The books in the library are too old; some books are older than me. The canteen is small and only 12–15 students can sit there .
Faculty: Teachers are syllabus-oriented; they make you pass exams easily but they lack practical teaching. Overall, the teaching quality is very poor. Semester exams are very easy to pass and even if you get back, just pay 500 for the evaluation and you're done. BCA in this college will make you fool but not industry-ready.

Dynamic campus life with dynamic course.
Placements: The percentage of students in my course was 70%. The average package offered in my course is 3.5 LPA, the highest is 7 LPA, and the lowest is 1.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, HDFC, Paytm, AU Small Finance Bank, and Vivo. I never attended any internships offered by the college, so I don't know the details. Roles offered in my course include cloud computing engineer, software developer, tester, ethical hacker, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities are not that good because classrooms are small, and in the computer lab, they don't have enough computers for students; we have to share the same computer between two students. They provide Wi-Fi, but it's not that good because most of the time it doesn't work, and if it does, they have very slow network speed. In Poddar International College, they do not provide any hostel facilities.
Faculty: Yes, the teacher is quite qualified, and they have some kind of proper knowledge, but not that good because some teachers just come and they just talk something and they go; they can't even complete the course before the time. See, the course is relevant, but traditional books and technology will not make students ready for the industry because they are not working on traditional technology; they are working on new things. And we don't have semester exams; we have a yearly exam system, so we just have to give one yearly main exam, and it was pretty tough.
Other: The reason I chose this course is that I've been coding since I was in the 9th class. I started with the C language and then moved on to Python. The best thing is to get the degree and then work under companies to gain experience, and then you can enhance your skills to be hired into some better company that will value you. The thing I wish could be better is that they leave traditional technology behind and start learning new technology to make students ready for the industry. In my college, they organize some fests, but I didn't participate because they are a waste of time.

This is the worst college to choose for BCA in Jaipur.
Placements: Most of the students remain unplaced, and few high-scoring students get a chance to sit for interviews with mass-hiring companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and a few others. The average package is very low, around 80k, with the highest package being about 3 LPA. Placements are particularly low, especially in Poddar International College's undergraduate program. Poddar advertises placements under the name of Poddar Group of Institutions, where most placements come from the MBA program at Poddar Business School.
Infrastructure: When it comes to infrastructure, there is Wi-Fi in classrooms that doesn't work, and teachers never use it. Only the computer lab Ethernet works properly. The library has very old books that don't match the current syllabus; their condition is poor and requires an upgrade. There are fewer computers in the lab than students, causing problems during combined classes or practicals. Apart from these issues, the campus is small, the classrooms are inadequate, there is no AC, and no one attends classes in summers. The sports room is smaller than a classroom. Infrastructure-wise, it's quite bad.
Faculty: Some faculty members seem inexperienced; they only teach the syllabus to ensure students barely pass. Don't expect to learn much; they focus on memorizing code and tell you the questions that will come in exams so you can pass. If you want to pursue BCA here, it's not recommended, as the IT industry is constantly evolving and the syllabus and teaching methods here are stuck in 2010.
Other: The only reason I chose this college is the low fee, which is 60k, though it's not the lowest. I thought this college would be better than other low-fee colleges, but I was misled by their misleading advertisements. They could improve, but there are many things they cannot fix. However, they should at least improve the classrooms so students can study in a better environment, enhance teaching methods to make students more industry-ready, and improve internal exams since they currently give good marks to every student without proper evaluation.

Really good infrastructure and facilities and opportunities to get hired with good placement.
Placements: 60% of college students were placed with good companies like Google, Wipro, Infosys, and Tata, with the highest package of 4 LPA and the lowest of 2 LPA, offered in the BCA course. Thirty percent of students get internships in college, with Genpact and any other IT company. Top roles in courses are software engineer, web developer, app developer, front-end and back-end developer, and graphic designer.
Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi connection is provided, along with high-tech labs, Apple iOS labs, good environment classrooms, and a peaceful library with lots of books. The hostel is very good, and the canteen food is like home-cooked meals. Medical facilities are provided, as well as sports and games facilities like football, cricket, badminton, and RC racing.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and kind-hearted in behavior, highly qualified in their subject knowledge. Yes, this course is curriculum relevant, making the students industry-ready. Semester exams are very simple in the college, with a 60% passing mark necessary.
Other: After 12th, I have an interest in computer science, and I want to learn more about new things in the IT field. Many events and fests are organized in our college like "Manthan," which is called the annual function, and hackathons like RC racing, online gaming, and many more.

My college has got highly skilled faculty members, but not that good infrastructure.
Placements: The BCA course has lots of students, and their are MNCs that come to our college every year and recruit skilled students. There are panels of interviews that come every year, like Wipro, which recruits our skilled students, which really takes our confidence to the next level.
Infrastructure: To be honest, the infrastructure of our college is really not up to par; it has no hotel, but recently the canteen has been modified as the earlier one was really bad. So yes, overall, it's a good college. Also, the Jagatpura branch of Poddar is not that bad.
Faculty: Teachers of our course are really highly skilled and trained; they teach us in the best way possible without any doubt, and they are really supportive. Moreover, our semester exams are not that tough, as it all depends on how much you study thoroughly for your exams.
