University of Rajasthan (Also known as UNIRAJ or UNIRAJ Jaipur) was established in 1947 as University of Rajputana and is approved by UGC. UNIRAJ Jaipur is accredited by NAAC with the grade A. The UNIRAJ University of Rajasthan offers UG, PG, Certificate, and various other courses to students. History of UNIRAJ University of Rajasthan:

After the Act for the Allahabad University was passed, the efforts for an individual University for the Rajputana State was initiated in early 1921.
The University of Rajputana came into existence on January 8, 1947.
RU Jaipur had Dr. G.S. Mahajani (Principal of Ferguson College, Poona), as the first Vice-Chancellor of the University
The first foundation stone of Rajasthan University of Rajasthan campus was laid by Shri C. Rajagopalachari on February 20, 1949
Initially, UNIRAJ was affiliating 22 colleges in different part of the states which has grown to 281 now.

No, UNIRAJ selects students on the basis of its in-house entrance test, i.e., the Rajasthan University LLB entrance test (ULET). Admission to LLB at UNIRAJ is made based on entrance exam scores. The university conducts the RULET (Rajasthan University Law Entrance Test) exam for LLB admissions.
