You will surely get to learn a lot of things from this college. Strict regarding attendance.

Placements: Poornima Foundation is a very well-known and reputed institute in Jaipur. Last year, Poornima Foundation had the maximum count of companies visiting for campus placement. One of our seniors was even placed in Google but it was an off-campus placement. Talking about the placement, our mass recruiters are Infosys and Capgemini. Last year, 118 students got placed in Infosys and this year only 77. In Capgemini, around 100 students were placed and this year 86 students were placed. This year a lot of...

A great place to study. A safe and secure home for hostellers apart from food.

Placements: Poornima Foundation provides every possible placement opportunities for its students. Talking about the last year's placements, hundreds of students were placed in top IT companies including companies like Infosys and Capgemini. The average salary offered by the core companies were around 3 lacs to 4 lacs per annum. The total placements this year were higher than the previous ones. Apart from the core companies such as Ericsson, Polycab Wires and Cables, Pinnacle and Tech Mahindra. Reputed place...

Strict but good college which works hard for every student.

Placements: Placements were average in our batch but the placement of our senior batch is a bit above average. Many reputed companies had visited our college like Infosys, Capgemini, Nagaro Softwares. The role offered to the students is mainly programming stuff. Sadly no core company visited like Samsung, Ericson. If I talk about the internship, less than 20 percent get an internship from the college. I have no idea about the stipend offered but as far as I know, hardly 1 or 2 percent get a stipend. ...

Decent placements and good faculty.

Placements: The placement record is very good for this institute. Infosys was the major recruiter. More than 50 reputed companies like Tega, Amdocs, Infosys, etc. visited for recruitment. Indian army and navy also visited. All the branches get equal opportunities in the recruitment process. The training and placement cell is very responsive.

Among top colleges under RTU with a significant number of placements every year.

Placements: Many companies visit PGC for placements but a majority of them are for CS/IT or ECE branch. The mass recruiters are Infosys, Capgemini, etc. and in addition to that many other companies also visit campus but they just pick only a handful of candidates (5-10). Overall 25% of total the students get campus placement every year and only 10% are able to get a job from a reputed company. Overall, the placement is 35% including off-campus placement. Among the placed students, the percentage of CS/IT st...

Good college for studies, fest, technology and placement.

Placements: More than 1000 students were placed in more than 50 companies. Study environment is awesome so students get good knowledge. This improves the placement of the college. For better placements, you should try this college. It also conducts outside exams for placements so opportunity increases. Minimum was 1.5 LPA and maximum was approx 7 LPA. Placement ratio is good. My seniors also got placements in various companies like Infosys, Igate, Josh technology etc. ...

Satisfied but the college needs more technical companies for core branches.

Placements: The placements are quite good but not all the companies that visited were technical related. Specifically, there are a lot of companies visiting for CS, IT and ECE, which offer a minimum package of 1.2 to 5 lakhs, depending upon the various category of students (all clear 65% above with no backlog and the students with lower % and having a backlog). There are fewer companies visiting for electrical, mechanical and civil branch. Companies like Infosys, Polycab, Pinnacle, Capgemini, Decurtus, Acti...

Placements: A lot many good companies come to the campus like google, accenture, maruti suzuki,Infosys etc who offer good packages. The highest package offered was 37 lac by google but the minimum was 1.2. The average placement comes up to 6.5. Placement cell is very active and also helps the students get placed for internships.

The best review about the college.

Placements: The placements are the highest in this college. Nowadays, 6 students have been placed in Google at 50,000 per month for the internship of 6 months. The package for BTech was taken by a student at Google at 50 lakhs per annum and a student got placed in Facebook at 80 lakhs per annum. 50 students have been placed in Amazon at a package of 20 lakhs per annum.

Mechanical Engineering in Poornima College.

Placements: Placements in this branch aren't many. Only 2-3 core companies come, and they take the toppers, so you got to be at the top of your game. Other than that, small companies also come, offering very less salary. And then, of course, we have Infosys to take us.

Less placement and very bad experience. No skill development. You get caught in a trap.

Placements: Placement is not good for core branches. I have also for suffered this session due to less job opportunities in this college. Only 3-4% students got placed. The highest package was 3.5 lac, which is very bad. So those who want to placed, please avoid admission. This is a real fact that I know because I am a part of it.

My opinion on Poornima College Of Engineering.

Placements: If you will see their advertisements, then you could be misguided because even in the CS branch they have very less placements this year and the placements they shows on the banners like 22 LPA or 30 LPA, are all out campus placements. This year, placements are not more than 40%.

Decent college with good placements.

Placements: Placements are good. Almost 50% of the batch gets placed and the basic necessities to clear the interview are provided well in advance. The mechanical branch still has to learn programming languages as majorly companies come for computer science. Proper decorum is maintained in case of placement rules.

The worst college I have ever seen in my life.

Placements: In my batch, a few students are placed through the college. The computer science and IT branches have good placements but in other branches, the students are not placed. The CS and IT students who were placed were offered around three lakhs per annum salary by an IT company. But, all companies have not visited as only 10 to 15 companies visited here. Good infrastructure, dissatisfied with faculty, placements in software companies are good.

Placements: Software companies are more, core companies are less. Accenture, TCS, L&T Infotech, BKT, Secure Meters are coming Software companies hire in bulk and very few core companies are coming. So if you are want to go for core companies, then think twice. For software it's good.

Absolutely dissatisfied with faculty, and rules here are as of schools.

Placements: Placements are nice as far as PCE is concerned, but PIET and PGI placement is not too good. I'm in PGI and till date, only 2 CS students are placed. I hope that more companies will come and take more students. Placements in other colleges are nice with about 15% students getting placed till year of completion.
