Absolutely dissatisfied With the College.

Placements: Only 20 to 30 percent of students from the Computer Science branch were able to secure placements. The highest package recorded was 44 LPA, while the lowest package was 1.31 LPA, with an average package ranging between 3 and 4 LPA. Celebal stands out as the top recruiting company on my campus. However, only a minimal 2-3% of students from the Computer Science branch secured internships.

I am not satisfied with our college.

Placements: Around 320 out of 600 students got placed in our college. Companies who visit our college are not good. Marketing and sales companies visit our college to recruit students. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Our college does not provide internship opportunities. Most of the students have not got placed during the placement period.

If we look on the basis of placement it is fine but it's fee is high as per it's campus.

Placements: In 2021 80% students got placed. Top recruiting companies is tcs and infosys only. It is 2nd rank in rtu in academics. From my side it is good college cause it does not take a admission donation. It's average placement packages is 4-5 lac. And the highest is 10 lac.

There is no scope for students who want to go further in the field of sports.

Placements: The only course offered by our college is the bachelor of technology. The highest salary package offered in our college is 25 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered 2 LPA. The most placed student are from CS and IT branches. Top recruiting companies like Infosys and TCS visit the college for placements.

I recommend you not to join this college at any cost, as it is a complete waste of money and career.

Placements: Only a handful of students get placed. 5-10% of students only. This college doesn't provide internship opportunities. You will have to search for your summer internships and winter internships on your own via off-campus, which is a very negative point because all good colleges invite companies and provide internship opportunities for their students. The highest package offered in the electrical branch at Poornima College is 5 LPA for only 1-2 students from the whole branch, combining both PIET a...

Our college is the best for studies. It is very bad regarding extracurricular activities.

Placements: Overall placements in our college are nice. But placements for the mechanical engineering branch are not that good. Placements for the computer science department are good but not enough. Only marketing companies visited our campus for placements. A few core companies visited the campus for placements. They offered the highest salary package of 4 LPA to 6 LPA.

This is not a good college in terms of placements and overall improvement of the students.

Placements: Placements in our college are not much good, and the companies which visited the college are fake. The college focuses more on the number of companies visiting the college, rather than focusing on the company. Most of the companies that our college invites for placements lie on the CTC and work profiles in their corporate presentations.

The standard of studies in this college is extremely poor.

Placements: I got placed in two companies. The role was executive business development manager in both the companies. Some decent companies have visited the college, most of my friends got placed, but I suggest choosing this college for CSE or EC branch because you can have more chances for getting placed in a good company.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of college, faculty and poor placements excluding CS/IT branches.

Placements: Many companies came for CSE and IT departments, but for mechanical, the number decrease to 4-5 only. Very low packages are given by the mechanical companies, and they hire only 2-3 students. In this college placement drives, the university students are also made to sit in the drives though they are not from this college.

The college faculty, placement and many other things are not good.

Placements: The placement in our batch is not good in numbers. 4 students are placed out of the 60 students. There is a fewer percentage of the overall placement. Very low salaries are offered. The placements are decreasing very rapidly as compared to those of the previous years. No one got the internship. The placement cell is available but not good nor helpful for the placement of the students.

Don't stay in the hostels, you will get you sick. Decent placements for the ones who need it.

Placements: A lot of minor companies are still coming for placement drives, while only 2 major companies came to our college looking for civil engineers. The package was around 2.5 LPA on an average. Around 30% of students have placed already, and the companies are yet to come in the coming months.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty. Not goid placements for the 2013 batch

Placements: The 2013 and 2014 batches suffered a placement loss. At that time, no placement agency had come for placements because our country suffered a recession in the computer science field. Many students were not placed, so these students took a job via off-campus placements.

Totally dissatisfied with the college support and help to establish a career in civil engineering.

Placements: The placement for our college senior students was very poor. The college tried to invite various civil engineering companies to hire their students but failed to attract them with less collaborative dealings. If we talk about placements in core companies related to our branch, then it was zero percent for our seniors as well as for us. Our college management tried to get us placements in IT sector companies but only a few students showed an interest to sit in the recruitment process. Some got se...

Join Poornima if you really think you can survive on yourself.

Placements: This college gives you many chances to get placements if you are from CS, IT and EC branches but for other branches, I would not recommend this college because companies for other core branches are very less in the college for the placement drive. There are many mock drives in the college to get familiar with that situation but still, if you are too weak in aptitude and communication, then you won't get placements. Most of my seniors with good communication skills got placed but if I talk about ...

Less placement and very bad experience. No skill development. You get caught in a trap.

Placements: Placement is not good for core branches. I have also for suffered this session due to less job opportunities in this college. Only 3-4% students got placed. The highest package was 3.5 lac, which is very bad. So those who want to placed, please avoid admission. This is a real fact that I know because I am a part of it.

My opinion on Poornima College Of Engineering.

Placements: If you will see their advertisements, then you could be misguided because even in the CS branch they have very less placements this year and the placements they shows on the banners like 22 LPA or 30 LPA, are all out campus placements. This year, placements are not more than 40%.

The worst college I have ever seen in my life.

Placements: In my batch, a few students are placed through the college. The computer science and IT branches have good placements but in other branches, the students are not placed. The CS and IT students who were placed were offered around three lakhs per annum salary by an IT company. But, all companies have not visited as only 10 to 15 companies visited here. Some companies are giving an open placement offer through other colleges as well. The roles offered to the students are Programmer, Developer and T...

Best teaching and lab facility but lack of entertainment

Placements: It is very tough to get placed in a civil engineering company as there is very poor connectivity to the construction industry. Leaving the placement aside, the college cannot even recommend you for training. When I visited many companies, they rejected me as they do not want a graduate from a college like this. For the 2015 batch, there were two companies which visited the campus and 22 out of the 600 students got selected. In this, 20 students got selected in a multinational company with a pac...

This college only focuses on studies, there is no space for extracurricular activities. The quality of education is not good. Students feel like they are in a cage in Poornima. No good MNCs come for placements. There is no role of research and development in any department. No professor helps the student in latest projects. Same projects are repeated every year.

It's not worth to waste that amount of money.

Placements: Poornima college placements on an average have a placement of 3lpa. And I think which is less than an average freshers placements. The most companies are come from local areas. And you can imagine the placements quality. And I heard from my senior that after the places internship the most companies just layoff most students after 6 months of internship.
