Post Graduate Government College Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Chandigarh

Placements: 70 percent of students were placed from the previous batch of my course. The highest package offered was 50,000 for B.A. students and the lowest package was 11,000 for B.A. and B.Com students. The Alumni Association of Post Graduate Government College, Sector 11, Chandigarh serves as the supporting unit for the institute in all the endeavours of the college.

Placements: There are no placements provided in our college. The main reason being that undergraduate courses are what are mainly provided. There's only one master's degree that can be taken from this college.

Placements: The college itself doesn't provide any placements. Graduates themselves have to get one. But one can get internships or entry-level jobs easily. The jobs one can get would be of quality assurance, quality check, or lab technician. To be in the research field, one has to get atleast a master's degree.

Placements: Our college offers courses like B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com. Companies like Wipro, HDFC, and TCS visit the campus for recruitment. The college is located in Chandigarh and is affiliated with Punjab University. Overall, companies visit the campus, but not like Google, Facebook, or students ideal companies.

Placements: Around 90% of students got placed last year. The highest package offered was 9 LPA. The lowest package was 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Jio, Airtel, Google, Adani, Puma etc. This college brings in a great range of companies to offer placements to the students and help students grow faster.

Placements: About 30% of the students were placed from our college. The salary packages offered are not very high, but on average, it was 2.5 LPA. HCL, pharmaceutical companies, Bestech, call center companies, etc., visit here. On average, about 30% of the students got internships. Many students were offered jobs in call centres and product marketing.

Placements: Placements are limited in our college. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA. The top companies that recruit are TCS, Wipro, etc. Around 10% of students got an internship in various companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. The top roles are junior manager and manager.

Placements: The placement history of our college seemed to be poor. But the internships are provided to the students in various companies during the course. Many students get good jobs after this course from this college. Some of the recruitment companies visited here are IBM and Infosys.

Placements: There is no recruitment cell for BA students in our college. Students usually prepare for government examination, or they opt for higher education. Placements are done for professional courses like BBA and B.Com. Even for professional courses, placements are average.

Placements: Placements are not good enough in this college. However, they provide all opportunities to grow our confidence in all fields like commerce, science, arts, sports, etc. Internships are not provided by this college as it is a government-initiated. No step is taken for this.

Placements: Our college offers average placements. It is a government college and has an average infrastructure. NAAC has accredited by A grade. It is affiliated to Punjab University, Chandigarh and is located in sector 11. It is one of the most preferred colleges of university in science stream.

Placements: Almost 80% of the students are placed in Multi National companies like WIPRO, INFOSYS, HDFC, SBI through campus placements. On an average students get 7 Lacs per annum package. College provide internship to students through Multi National Companies.

Placements: There are very limited placements, and few companies visited for placements, so students did not attend the placement drive. There are no such placements according to the graduation base, and there is no proper counselling cell in which students get proper counselling about what can one do in future. Placements are not good.

Placements: Placements are nice in this college. Students are getting companies of their choice to work with. I am highly satisfied with the placement criteria of this college. Currently I'm in 3rd year and looking forward to getting a good company. Companies which visit here offer student jobs with various fields to choose from such as marketing, finance etc.

Placements: The placements are very important for the students at the end of the course. The placements in our college are average. Two or three companies like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, etc., visited the college. Only 10-15% of the students from the whole batch got placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month, the average salary is Rs. 17,000 per month and the lowest salary is around Rs. 12,000 per month. Placements: As I am a student of a professional course, the placements for our course are good. During the placements of my batch, two companies named Infosys and Wipro visited the college. Around 10 students were placed in each company. The salaries offered by both the companies were around Rs. 12,000 to 18,000 per month. Placements: The placements in our college are good, but our branch has no placements. We have to opt for higher education or some professional courses. Companies visit for the students of B.Com and BBA which are professional courses. They approximately get Rs. 15,000 per month as an accountant or associate. The internship is also offered for the students of professional courses, not from our college but you can get an internship on your own. There is no placement cell in our college.

Placements: Placements in the college are good, and good companies visit the college to hire students. We hope to get more companies in the coming years. I don't know the full procedure for placements, but it is good enough for many good and deserving students. I'm currently in the 2nd-year, and I want to focus on my career.

Placements: The placement process in our college is very good, and all the activities are done in a very good manner. The placement service is very useful, and students have no other problems here. All the facilities provided in this college are excellent, and I suggest student this college for their good future.
