PGIMER Chandigarh, also known as PGI Chandigarh, offers BSc courses with eight different specialisations. Each specialisation has its own entrance qualification criteria. Tabulated below is the eligibility requirement for each of the BSc courses offered by PGI Chandigarh:

The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh, accepts valid INI CET scores, followed by a counselling process for admission to MD, MS, and MDS courses. The INI CET 2025 cutoff for the January session has been released, wherein the round 1 closing ranks varied between 218 and 404 for the MS programmes. So, considering the first round cutoff, yes, students with an INI CET cutoff rank of 200 are eligible to get admission at PGIMER. However, the cutoff ranks vary for different courses, rounds, and categories. To learn more about the INI CET Round 1 cutoff 2025 for all the MS courses, refer to the table below. The cutoff ranks tabulated below are for the unreserved category.

To get admission to the BSc course at PGIMER Chandigarh, candidates must appear for the entrance exams. Candidates must qualify INICET entrance exam for admission at PGIMER. The minimum eligibility requires the candidates to pass Class 12 with 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board. Interested candidates must apply online on the official website for the desired course. 

All the applicants who wish to apply to any of the courses offered by PGI Chandigarh can register online and pay the fapplication ee. Following is the procedure for doing the same:

1. Visit the official website of PGIMER and click on the online application form available on the PGIMER’s website
2. Fill in all the details correctly
3. Take a printout of the form and make the fee payment through the Challan form (Triplicate) in any branch of SBI by the name “Power Jyoti” PUL current account of PGIMER

For Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research admission, candidates need to qualify INICET entrance exam. Eligible candidates are then called for the counseling round. PGIMER's application process is completely online.

The entrance examination is held in December for the January session and in the June for July session. MD/MS Courses Candidates are assessed at a formal entrance-test on the basis of a suitably designed Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type theory paper.
