Our college is a safe and excellent place.
Placements: Around 75%-80% of students are placed. Salary packages offered in our courses go up to 10 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Amazon, etc. recruit from our campus. Over 80% of students secure internships. Top roles include Data Analyst, Data Scientist, etc. This is an excellent career option for those interested in the software field. Common jobs in Data Science include Data Scientist, Data Analyst, and Data Engineer. Newer roles like Machine Learning Engineer, Machine Learning Scientist, and AI Ethics Officer address the growing use of AI and machine learning in the industry.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in our courses and department, such as Wi-Fi, classrooms, and the central library, are excellent. Hostel facilities, including food quality, are good and provide a homely feel. Immediate medical facilities, such as access to a doctor, are available. Hostellers also have free time for sports and recreational activities.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, fully qualified, and deliver excellent teaching quality. This course prepares students for the future, as data science is currently the second most in-demand job role worldwide, following artificial intelligence. The difficulty level of exams is slightly high, ensuring students learn thoroughly. The pass percentage is above 80%.
Other: The primary reason for selecting this course in data science is the growing demand for data-driven decision-making across industries. I believe acquiring data analysis skills will significantly enhance my employability. Events, fests, and the campus environment are all well-organised by faculty members.

The Real Life of Education.
Placements: In our course, the minimum package is about 1 LPA and the maximum, I think, is 8 LPA. In this course, there are some top recruiting companies like Infosys and Tech Mahindra. The percentage of students placed is increasing day by day because of the roles offered in this course.
Infrastructure: The labs, classrooms, and library are the key to our knowledge. We have all the facilities available for our course. We also have a hostel, which is good enough to stay in, and we get quality food. The mess and canteen are clean and clear, and we have sports to participate in. We have the opportunity to learn whatever we want in our college.
Faculty: Our staff is highly talented. They have done their higher studies and teach us in a simple manner. We can also ask any doubts, and they clarify all our doubts simply and immediately. The exams for our course were good enough, and some subjects were difficult, but we studied well and prepared well for the semester exams.
Other: I chose this course because the future is all about AI. Artificial intelligence is all about the technique that teaches us in a simple manner. In our college, we conduct events like Diwali and Sankranti, and the management of our college decorates well for those events.

Absolutely dissatisfied with placements. Faculty are good. Labs and classrooms are good.
Placements: I graduated in 2024. No one from our branch got placed through college. Even if they got they are non technical like call centers which as a CSE student are not considered as jobs. And they fake the placed students list in the college website. It's probably same for other branches as well.
Infrastructure: Teaching is really good when compared to other colleges. Most of the faculty are talented. They encourage students all the time. Wi-Fi is not accessible for the day scholars. Labs, library and classrooms are good. Hostel food is average. Sports and games is all based on the students interest, chances are available.
Faculty: As said most of the teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching is good. Student being Industry ready is not upto the mark. Exams are not hard. Easily gets passed in mid exams and labs. It was JNTUK affiliated for our batch and now it's autonomous.
Other: Fest once a year. Sankranthi celebrations. Flash mob every year. Competitions, elocutions are conducted. Women's day so on other events are conducted.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty.
Placements: 20% of students were placed in my course. Zero placements were offered regarding internships; all are fake companies, and some companies even don't have names or branding. Project Engineer is the top role offered by Wipro .
Infrastructure: Computer labs are good. Electrical labs don't have much equipment. Good food will be provided in the canteen, and no medical facilities will be provided. No encouragement in sports and games, and there is no proper ground. Torn nets and broken carrom.
Faculty: No teacher knows anything regarding the subject. Many are just JLs and they started their career here after completing college. The curriculum is the same from the past 30 years; there is no big difference. The repeated syllabus and nothing new to learn make it better to choose another branch.
Other: Nothing helpful to me.

This college is perfect for all engineering students.
Placements: 1.50% of students were placed in the course 2. The highest package is 800000 and lowest package is 350000 3. TCS and Wipro are the top recruiting companies for the course. 4. 100% of the students got internships from my course and in Excelr Company. 5. Data analyst and software developer are the top roles offered in the course.
Infrastructure: 1. The facility and infrastructure are available in my department; wifi is available for all over campus, AC is also provided in labs; and 5000 books are available in library. 2. There is no hostel provided by the college for the engineering department in my college; other private hostels are available in the college surroundings.
Faculty: 1. Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. 2. Yes, the course is curriculum-relevant . 3. The semester exams are difficult and the pass percentage is 75%. 4. The college is perfect for giving knowledge to students. 5. The fees are worth paying for students.
Other: I chose this course due to my passion to work in IT companies. Everything is perfect I think but if they provide any hostel there would help a lot students.

Absolutely perfect and well-run college.
Placements: In my college, many members have the best package. Exactly, I don’t know because I am pursuing only the second year. I have collected the details from my seniors. TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys are the top companies recruiting, and 70% of students got internships in some companies. The highest package in my college is 10 LPA, the average is 3.5 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Top roles offered are Developer, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure in my college are good, and hostel facilities are also good. We have AC and non-AC rooms, water is available, and security is good. Sports and fitness games are also conducted, but it’s better to improve some aspects of the mess and canteen.
Faculty: Yes, the faculty is helpful in teaching and well-trained. The faculty also helps in the clarification of doubts. Semester exams are also strictly conducted, and we should work hard for them. There will be no bias, and teachers will conduct mid-exams and unit tests for more experience. They will take care of us.
Other: You should do more hard work frequently and practice as well.

Potti Sriramulu College Of Engineering And Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
CoursesEligibility
After 10th DiplomaCandidates should have passed S.S.C. Examination (Class 10th) conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P/TS. such as CBSE, ICSE, NIOS, A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), X class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects, and obtained atleast 35% marks in the qualifying examination. Candidates belonging to NIOS/TOSS/APOSS/CBSE/ICSE/Other Examinations recognised as equivalent to SSC by A.P. Govt. should have passed all the subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with minimum of 35% marks in each subject. Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in May-2022, and whose results are yet to be declared can also apply. There is no age restriction.
B.E. / B.TechCandidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering or any other examination recognised as equivalent there to, from a recognised Institute/ University, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana are also eligible. Candidates who have appeared in Diploma in Engineering and who are awaiting their results can also apply on provisional basis. Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana. Candidate should have completed 16 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission (2023). There is no upper age limit.
MBA/PGDMCandidate must have completed Bachelor degree of 3/4 years duration with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute. 45% marks for BC categories. Candidate who are appearing for the final year degree examination are also be eligible. Degree obtained by Distance Mode Program should have recognition by Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB. Candidate who passed all the subjects of the three years of any Degree course in one sitting is not eligible for admission.
