Placements: There were 45 students in our class but five students passed with honors. Almost 60% of students were placed. Top recruiting companies did not visit our campus. They did not provide internships. Facilities were not up to date. No recruiting firms visited our college and will never visit again because there was no placement option at CU.
Placements: Almost 60-70% of students get placed each year. Companies like Tata, Mahindra, BYJU's, etc., come here to recruit students from this course. The average package offered is around 2.5 LPA. Internships depend on the student's interest.
Placements: Companies come to college, but students don't know when they come because of the union. I don't think many students get placed out of college. At my age, I don't know when the placements come and go, but those who got placements are good MNC like TCS, Wipro, etc.
Placements: Assistance accountant, associate, analyst, junior accountant, etc., roles are offered. There are no placements in this college. Nearly about 99% of students don't get an internship here. No companies come here for campus placements. A majority of students were not placed, and they looked or are still looking for off-campus placements.
Placements: Nearly 55% of students were placed in our course. TCS and Reliance are the top recruiting companies for my course. 45% of students got internships from B.Com (Hons) in ICICI Bank. Cost accountant, tax consultant, company secretary, etc., roles are offered in B.Com (Hons) course.
Placements: Since I have joined this college the previous year, I have never heard anything about placements. Companies do not visit this type of government college in Kolkata. None of the students got placed anywhere from this college after graduation. The course I am studying has a great prospect outside West Bengal if I complete my further studies in some renowned university.
Placements: Almost 50% of the students were placed in our course. I don't know much about the salary package offered, but I heard it's average or below average. Top recruiting companies are TCS, ICICI Bank and top insurance companies. Almost 50% of the students got an internship from our course.
Placements: Placements are not offered. Even internships are not offered here. Generally, in UG colleges, under CU students are not provided internships which is something that they lack in. At least an internship for 2 months should be made mandatory, and opportunity must be provided so that students can get those internship offers.
Placements: Almost 90% of students of Prafulla Chandra College has not got placement in any firm or anything. Even I haven't got any job after this. There was more need for placements to students. There would be placements in college, but at our time, I haven't got information about it.
Placements: Placements are not much good in our college. Sometimes, a few private banks and sometimes private firms visited the college for campusing. I heard from my seniors that sometimes insurance companies visited the college and offered sales profiles to the students. Call centres also visited the college many times to recruit the students.
Placements: During my tenure in the college, there was no scenario of placements in the third year. The college authority was least bothered about who was getting placed and where. Our HOD was a good teacher and a good person as well, but he would not care about placements ever.
Placements: Not good. There were some small private limited companies reffered by the college but that were not good at all. Further no company comes for placement in the campus. It is a government sponsored college but no government recruiters come here for job placement.
Placements: There are no campus placements or internship programs done in the college. Also, there is no placement cell in this college. Though we requested to our principal to conduct such campus placements and internship programs, at the time, we finally graduated there was no answer from the college.
Placements: The placements are not available always. Sometimes, few companies visit the college for recruitments, but the offers are not worthy. So it can be considered as not worthy. The percentage of student who got placed is below average. Some insurance companies came for placement.
Placements: The placements are not up to the mark. It depends on students. My seniors got placement for BPO at Wipro. The highest salary offered that I know, it was between Rs. 20-25K. The starting salary was minimum Rs. 10,000 and the average were about Rs. 13-15K. A wide range of roles was offered to students, from international sales agent to receptionist. Only 10% of the students got internships. The highest stipend was between 12-13K, lowest was 6K and so on. At least 2-3 companies visit our college ev...
Placements: In our college, the placement doesn't take place every year. One of the main reasons students do not want to enrol in our college is that very few companies come to us for placement. Since last year, only Mahindra has come for placement.
