Nice private college for diploma.
Placements: I like my college very much. It is overall very good with my prospect. If I talk about the placements in my college it is quite satisfying. Overall on an average basis 200 students get placed every year from all the branches. We are very much aware that every company wants to hire students with higher qualifications and experiences therefore maximum student's placement packages are about 2 lacs per annum for Diploma students. Top recruiting companies for my college are Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto Ltd, Myantra, EPL Limited, Myntra, Wipro, Layam Group, Mothersons Sumi System Ltd, The India Thermit Medical Equipment Pvt Ltd, etc. Some of us opt for higher studies. Many students are able to get internships in Government departments like Indian Railway, BSNL, etc. Some just start their own repairing shops.
Infrastructure: My college has a beautiful building and campus for us to do our study comfortably. My college offers admission in Civil, Mechanical (Automobile, Production RAC), Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science engineering. We have the laboratory facility available which is very essential for developing practical skills in us. Lab condition is very good and have many tools, machines, etc. We have also got a wonderful library. Our library is very good neat and clean. We can borrow whatever books we need for our studies. We don't have Wi-Fi facility but we can use ours. My college also has the hostel facility available which is very good option for the students who are the outsiders. Also the quality of the facilities at hostel is quite satisfying. Food available at the mess is also satisfying. Our college also have a medical college near our campus where we can avail all the medical facilities for our needs. We have big playground for playing sports and games like cricket, football, etc. Also we have the arrangements for playing indoor games like Chess, Carrom, etc.
Faculty: My teachers are very helpful to me. They have helped me every time whenever I face problems related to my studies. My faculty members are knowledgeable also as many of them have done B.Tech, M.Tech and some have done Ph.D. They try to note the students regularly and take tests to test our knowledge and understandings. Somewhat this course is relevant for me and make us industry ready. According to me semester exams are both hard and easy as well. For some students it is hard, but for others it is easy.
Other: My college organises many events and functions for us to have some fun apart from our studies such as Fresher's party and Farewell party. Also we have fun and learn something on special occasions like Teacher's day, Children's day, Independence day, World environment day, etc. We also have the scholarship facility and we get scholarships from state government every year of Rs. 22000 for OBC. Rs. 12000 for Muslims and Rs. 30000 for SC/ST. Apart from this information I would like to add some other things also, like we are very much aware that there is shortage of jobs in our country.
