B.Sc. in Computer Science - Batch of 2026
2.2

Modern College, Ganeshkhind.
Placements: Modern College, Ganeshkhind, boasts an impressive placement record, with nearly 60 students placed per batch. This reflects positively on both student outcomes and the college's reputation. The Placement Cell works efficiently, engaging with 10 to 15 companies. While I appreciate the efforts of the college staff, there is room for improvement in their behavior.
Infrastructure: The B.Sc. in CS course is excellent overall. However, the college hostel is located 8 km away, and there is no bus service, leading to a negative experience for students. Additionally, the boys' hostel is operational, but the girls' hostel has been closed for four years, resulting in inadequate facilities.
Faculty: The course itself, B.Sc. in CS, is commendable, but the college staff lacks proper manners. The faculty at Modern College, Ganeshkhind, is subpar. While some instructors are good, others pose challenges to students' future prospects.
Other: Modern College's campus life is vibrant, despite the overwhelming crowd. The limited space and grounds are acceptable when compared to other campuses. The atmosphere at Modern College, Ganeshkhind, is generally positive.

Faculty members are well-experienced and student-friendly.
Placements: I am from the 2020 passed-out batch. About 50-60% of the students from our course get placed. The highest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA, the average salary package offered was 2.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. The top recruiting companies like Verizon, Deloitte, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: It solely depends on the student if he wants to apply for the hostel accommodation or explore the Life of being a PG living student. Moreover, both of them have a lot to explore. But I did my B.Sc. At MCASC in neither of these modes but have plans to go abroad for a Master which will let me experience this life. The annual expenses for students for accommodation were nearly INR 20-25K. Hostel Fees: INR 22000 per year.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-trained and qualified. We have 81 students and have separate faculty for each course. We studied and focused on students' growth. We go through mid-term exams before every end-term exam as we trimester pattern (3 End terms in a Year). This keeps students in their study zone with all the fun around. Class size;-81
The course fees;-INR 40000 per year.

I won't recommend but someone who wants to prepare for competitive exams then select this college.
Placements: There is no such placements support for art students but you can seat for the B.Com batch placements or any else placements but they will not prefer Arts student so for good placements you need to consider doing Masters either in geography or any relevant specialisation.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facilities. No Wi-Fi as well. Library is good but always crowded also the canteen is decent not that much good. As the campus is very small inarea hence the status of sports is also the worst due to availability of the sports ground.
Faculty: The faculty especially the geography faculty is great they are very friendly and supportive. The geography club is also very active, Personally I don't think the Curriculum is very relevant and the difficult level of the semester exam is easy to moderate.

Overall good college in terms of academics and all round development.
Placements: They did not provide internship opportunities but did provide good guidance. Some students found internship opportunities on their own and worked in non-profit organisation's for exposure. There are usually no good placements in psychology just on B.A. basis.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were clean and neat, good environment. Library is small. Parking space is very small. It gets too crowded and it's hard to get your vehicle out due to too much of vehicles. And you have to pay rs. 5 for parking
Canteen is good, yummy food and comparatively cheaper food options available. Sports ground is good for volleyball, cricket still comparatively small. Medi facilities are available.
Faculty: Teacher are very friendly and helpful. They are very understanding and supportive. They are very knowledgeable and teach in a fun and interactive way. You can ask for doubts anytime. Course curriculum was very detailed and relevant. It is conceptual and theory based. Practical are kind of cool as you get to perform experiments and psychological tests on various subjects.
Other: I chose B.A. IN PSYCHOLOGY, I was very interested in this course, and teachers nurtured and enhanced my knowledge in various domains of the subject. Events are frequent but mostly study related. They do have traditional days, dance programs and all too. The think I wish they provided was an internship.

It is a good college for arts, science, and commerce.
Placements: Our college provided the best placements for all the courses. Students got placed with the highest salary packages. Many students from our course prepared for government jobs but other course students got placed in top recruiting companies like Wipro, Infosys, and TCS. Many students got internships in Infosys and Wipro.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available for some courses for all students. Classrooms were very impressive with digital appliances. Library was available and was open from 8 AM to 5 PM. It was a good college.
Faculty: Many teachers were available in our college. All of them were well qualified and very good. Their teaching quality was good. The course curriculum was relevant and made students industry ready. Exams were conducted very strictly and were difficult to pass. Students had to clear all the semester exams to get a degree.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a government servant. Many events are organised in our college every year for students to enjoy.

Our college has good faculty members and facilities.
Placements: There are no campus placements, but the college provides referrals and helps students to get placed. Some students got placed in Cognizant. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant, TCS, and Infosys. The average salary package offered is 3.2 LPA. Our college does not provide internships. You have to get internships off campus.
Infrastructure: Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. Around 3-4 laboratories are available in our college. Classrooms are good and huge. Each classroom has a projector. Our library is huge and is filled with books. Students are allowed to take books home or sit there and read. The environment of the library is good. Hostels are good. Canteen is good and hygienic. The food served in the canteen is good.
Faculty: The college is autonomous. It has a good syllabus. Teachers are supportive and helpful. Their teaching quality is good. The first semester starts with the basics of learning, and the college gradually increases the difficulty of the syllabus. They make sure that the basics are good enough to move ahead. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Students have to make their efforts. Semesters exams are not difficult if students study well.
Other: I opted for this college because I have heard from many students that the BCA course from Modern college is good. Placements should get improved. Students come from distant villages, so it is necessary to teach them all basics.
