Punjab Institute of Medical Science, Jalandhar .

Placements: My college does not provide placements; however, it gives us the opportunity to do an internship for 1 year after the completion of a 4.5-year-long course. Here at the Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences, Jalandhar, after the completion of the course, you have to complete 1 year of necessary internships, which will provide you with a stipend of around Rs 10,000. However, the college does not promise you any placements.

Good infrastructure and facilities are provided. Hostels are well furnished.

Placements: My batch is the 2020 batch, and we will pass out in 2025. It is a 5.5-year course, and each batch has 150 students. After the MBBS internship, the NEET PG exam is conducted for MD. Every year, some students pass the exam and achieve really good ranks, as it is a very tough exam. 100% of students do internships in the same college.

Review of Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences.

Placements: Many clinician students got placed in this course. Internships are also offered in our course. No companies visit our college for recruitment. This course will make us ready to apply for jobs. We can also easily practice to make our hands smooth.

Really good infrastructure. But the management of the college is corrupt.

Placements: College offers MBBS course. Admission is based on the merit list on the basis of marks scored in NEET exam. There are 150 seats in a batch. 75 are government and 75 are management. Government costs 20L and management costs up to 50L. Course is of 5.5 years which includes 1 year internship.

Good infrastructure is present

Placements: Placement in this course depends on marks in Neet-Ug exam. After MBBS one can go for MD or can work in some hospital. Internship is mandatory in the course itself after final year in the college itself for one year duration. The role offered is of a doctor.

Make your dream come true with MBBS college.

Placements: Every year, 150 students get admission. The package depends on your capabilities to learn and engage them. 100% percent internship is guaranteed. This is a medical profession, and there is a huge shortage of doctors.

The college is good for academics but worse for extracurricular activities.

Placements: In MBBS, everyone gets a job, or they join private practice college. The campus placements are not offered in the medical field like in engineering colleges. Most of the students after MBBS prepare for PG exams, and some take government jobs as medical officers, and some join the private practice. Hence almost everyone gets a good future after passing out from MBBS irrespective of the college.
