B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028
3.2

Dissatisfied because of low placement, sports activities, and strictness.
Placements: I am not in placement year now, but in my senior batch, only 40% of students get placed on campus in the year (2024). The highest package offered is 6.5 lacs per annum, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Birla, Wipro, IBM Corporation, etc. There is no internship opportunity. Top roles offered in placements are software engineer, data scientist, and many more.
Infrastructure: Faculty members are very dedicated. Yes, but the teacher will get very angry if you do not complete your assignment or get involved in discipline activity. Infrastructure is very good and clean: fully AC classrooms and clean benches. Labs are good, but some of the computers don't work properly. The whole campus has Wi-Fi facilities, but only a 34 MB data limit per day for a student. Which is bad. Hostel: good facilities, but the mess food is unhealthy and low-quality food. No sports facilities are available; the college is only good for educational purposes. .
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful; their way of teaching is very good. If you are not clear about the basics of 11th or 12th, they will teach you everything from the basics separately, will answer any doubt politely, and will repeat the hard topics again and again in the class. , your subject notes will be checked at regular intervals, and important questions and short revision notes will be provided. In short, excellent teachers, they teach industrially demanding skills to the students, and college committees hire industrial professionals for technical training. In my batch, 70% of students pass the 1,2 semester without carryover because of the good teaching quality of teachers.
Other: Pros: College committee only focused on the study of the students. There is a weak test on every Monday known as PT (performance test). Which is an excellent thing: coding tests and practices. Cons: If you didn't score 50% in the weekly test, then the extra assignment will be given to you: extra classes on Saturday (half day). No sports activities, the worst freshers and farewell experience.

This college is a total scam.
Placements: Most jobs were as interns. This college placement percentage is just 20-30%. Giving you my experience, I was shortlisted by a company ( not yet placed ) but my college people displayed me and other students as placed students with so and so package.
Infrastructure: -According to their brochure, they are providing wifi but actually they don't. -And some of the classes don't have AC. -They don't even have a classroom for final year students (Mca) -Canteen is ok but can ve more hygienic. -Washrooms dont have soap dispensers
Faculty: They don't conduct classes for final year students. They provide training, workshops and the pass percentage is also good. But some of the faculty members are not even elegible. Eg- a faculty is a class coordinator and even giving lectures for a specific subject to MCA students but he himself is a M.Tech student of that same college.
Other: College's brochure is a trap. It is full of lies. They lied about college fest, wifi, ACs. Most important they don't provide UP government scholarship to the general category students except those have enrolled through CUET.

Very disappointed with the faculty; they force me to pay 100% fees at any cost.
Placements: Here are only a few students getting placed from RD Engineering College. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the average package is about 3.4 LPA. Novoinvent frequently comes because they have a tie-up with RD Engineering College. Only 0.1% of students got internships off-campus.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average; not that good, I would say. There is no Wi-Fi for students, only for faculty. Labs are conducted 4 to 5 times a week. There is no dedicated faculty for the hostel; only a warden is there, and there is also no Wi-Fi in the hostel. The mess food is average, similar to that of another college.
Faculty: Most of the faculty are very rude in nature; they won't grant you any type of leave. If your 100% fees are not submitted, they won't allow you in the classroom, even for semester exams. In the 1st year, there is no problem, but for the rest of the years, they will force you to submit at least 100% fees at the beginning of the semester.

As I'm completely dissatisfied with the college related to the extra curriculum activities.
Placements: As I'm here to share the appropriate information related to the college batch and the students placed, the percentage of students placed in the B.Tech course is around 20%. Below-average companies came to our college for placement. In this course, roles offered are in programming.
Infrastructure: I'm also a hosteller. The hostel is good, but if I talk about the food, the quality is very bad. It is also a little unhygienic. The amount of money for the hostel is very high, but considering the facilities and the food, it is not worth it. There is no Wi-Fi connection in the hostel, and our course relies heavily on internet access. Overall, the food is very bad and does not taste good.
Faculty: I'm sharing the honest feedback about the faculty at my college. When it comes to the teachers, they are good, but the superior authorities are not. They never support our teachers or students when they try to organize extra activities. The environment is similar to a school setting. They only focus on cramming subjects and notes to score marks in exams, rather than helping with skill development and other activities.
Other: I have learned the engineering language, which is why I got into B. Tech. In my college, B. Tech classes are not taught; I just have to write. That's why we are seniors first. He hasn’t got a job yet. There are no fests or events in our college. Scholarships also go to the college.

The main headline about the college is that they less focuses on the coding skills.
Placements: I am a student of RD Engineering College, which comes under AKTU University, Lucknow. As a regular student of this college, I am sharing an honest review regarding placements, which are average. About 20 percent of students got placement from the college. Honestly, the training classes were also not up to the mark. The number of companies that come for campus placements is also average and limited.
Infrastructure: If I'm talking about the infrastructure of the college and the hostel, it is below average. The quality of the food given in the hostel is very poor. There are no interactive activities on campus for the students. There is no proper sports complex for the students residing in the hostel. The response to any problems is very slow.
Faculty: But if I talk about the teachers and the faculty, the professors are very good, helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. They never disappoint the students in terms of academics as well as any other curricular programs. However, the chairman of the college never supports the teachers in any new innovative ideas. The chairman has never helped teachers when they wanted to start any good, knowledgeable activities.

Don't ruin the engineering life.
Placements: The number of students placed in the previous batch is 29 out of 295. The main recruiter is "NoVo Invent" for the post of intern software developer. The average package is INR 15,000 per month; all are placed on an internship basis. The placement cell is not supportive.
Infrastructure: On the college campus, there are 4 blocks, but 3 blocks are used by college students; D block is used by TATA for competitive exams; on the college campus, there is a small canteen, one stationary shop (very expensive) and one hostel for girls and boys.
Faculty: Faculty are not supportive. And the exam is held every Monday, called P.T., and they all change the rule as per student and they take one sessional but in R.D., they take two. If there is time left, he will also try another sessional.
Other: The fee of the college on paper is very extra, but if you come from a source, the college fee is up to INR 70000 and the hostel fee is up to INR 40000. The source takes a commission from the college. If you have fewer resources (money), you can take admission. But if you are capable of having resources, then do not take them.
