Review of Raajdhani Engineering College (REC, Bhubaneswar).
Placements: About 80% of the students get placed in our college The highest package was 26 lacs per annum and the lowest was 4 lacs per annum. Top recruiters are Infosys, Walmart, Justdial and Wipro Many companies, which are the top recruiters, provide internship for 70% of the students. Internships are provided by college so students don't have to search off-campus. The salary package for internships is 6–8 lacs.
Infrastructure: There is a separate hostel facility for girls and boys on the college campus. The hostel is very vast and clean. The hostel's food is very hygienic. The classrooms are vast and they have digital screens in all the classrooms. There is a huge library and an ATM.
Faculty: Many dance competitions are conducted at the annual Utsav. And many programs are conducted at branch fests for students to enjoy. Most of us have been a part of annual day celebrations and have enjoyed it thoroughly. The cultural performances were a highlight of the event, with students showcasing their talents in dance, music, drama, and various other art forms. The performances were not only entertaining but also reflected the diverse cultural heritage of our college. The participants had put in months of practice, and their dedication was evident in the seamless and captivating presentations.
Other: The faculty are very experienced in the teaching profession. They have a very good grasp on the subject they teach. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. The college has the best campus, which is full of greenery and many trees. Professors teach very well; they have a lot of experience in teaching. BGS utsav is conducted for 2 days every year and branch festivals are also conducted. Our college supports us in extracurricular activities and sports. But the main disadvantage is that the that the college is far from the bus stand.
