Q:   What is the effectiveness of the placement cell for B.Sc. programs at Rajdhani College?

    A:
    {Source: B.Sc. students & alumni}

Effectiveness of Placement Cell for B.Sc. Programs at Rajdhani College

Unfortunately, the placement record for B.Sc. programs at Rajdhani College seems to be poor. According to various reviews:

    * "No companies offer jobs in our college." (Student)
    * "We usually do not have placements. neither salary packages nor internships are offered on our campus." (Alumni)
    * "Our college does not provide placements for students." (Multiple students)

It appears that the college does not have a robust placement cell or industry connections to secure job opportunities for its students. This lack of placement support may lead to students having to pursue higher education or alternative career paths.

Note: Since most reviews focus on the absence of placements, we cannot conclude that the placement cell is ineffective due to a lack of data or positive feedback. Instead, the consensus among students and alumni suggests that the college needs to improve its placement processes to better serve its students.

Rajdhani College Bhubaneswar fees, faculty, and infrastructure.
Placements: It is a college for B.Sc, B.Com, B.A, and other higher studies in these streams. It doesn't provide any placements to students as far as I know. I have been studying here for about 6 months, there is no placement system. Students here study for the degree only.
Infrastructure: The college campus is clean and greenery. There is a canteen and 3 parking areas inside the campus. The food in the canteen is very good and hygienic. The campus remains very crowded between 9 AM and 1 PM. I am pursuing a B.Sc. hons in the department of mathematics at this college. There are separate classrooms for students and all faculty members. There are separate classrooms and laboratories which are clean and well-maintained. Our college also has a hostel only for SC/ST students with 180 students capacity. The food given at the hostel mess is not very good. Medical aids are provided to students at the hostel. There is a gym for hostel students. Spots and cultural programs are held regularly for students.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very friendly and cooperative. They are very strict and try to teach us everything. They are well-qualified teachers. The course I am pursuing is a B.Sc. Hons. mathematics. Other than their hons subject student can choose other subjects which they want to study along with their core subject. Some subjects are compulsory according to the course you are pursuing. Semester exams are held every six months. Periodic tests are taken by teachers every 2-3 months. The difficulty of questions in exams is 7/10.
Other: Different kinds of events are held on festive occasions like painting, essay writing, poetry, handcrafting, singing, and many more. Scholarships are provided to eligible students.

Budget friendly college and professional teachers make our experience better.
Placements: If we complete the master degree in it, then we'll sure achieve a good position in the future, so for me, it's a good place to grow ourselves, and we should attend the whole 3 years as a serious candidate; otherwise, it will not be helpful for anyone in this field.
Infrastructure: The facilities of our college are so well, often so clean, and the Wi-Fi facilities are also very good. The campus is also neat and clean, and the galleries are properly scheduled for the further classes as well. Everything is just good enough.
Faculty: The teaching style of teachers are so professional and well trained and the faculties are highly educated that they are able to understand any kind of situation and the process of study, they have much patience to teach us about a topic and the exams system is strictly followed by teachers; they are so strict about the semesters
Other: I chose the course because my background is related to the plant industry and I'm very interested in the plants; that's why I chose it. The course system is already good enough, and if I tell you about the cultural programs, then it's done with good preparation.

    Walkthrough of Rajdhani College .
Placements: In my college, for Physics Honours, a minimum of 84% is required to secure a seat as per the 2023 admission criteria. Since my college is a government institution, it doesn't provide job placements or packages; it focuses solely on academics. There are no recruiting companies for my course, and I don't know of anyone who has received an internship. However, students can pursue careers as lecturers or in research.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi available, but it's not accessible to students. There are specific labs for each subject. The classrooms are spacious and well-maintained. The library provides books, but there's no specific seating area for reading; however, there are two study rooms. For sports, the college has badminton and cricket grounds. Indoor games are also available, and an annual sports event is organized once a year.
Faculty: Teachers teach well; they are highly appreciated and experienced, so their teaching is good. Yes, the curriculum is relevant, and teachers do their best by taking extra classes, which is a good thing because it is a government college. The semester exams are quite difficult but not very difficult because teachers cover the entire syllabus before the exam.
Other: I liked Physics when I was in class 10th, and my parents also wanted me to do B.Sc. in Physics Honours, so I chose this course. About the course, it's all right; they teach well and cover the whole syllabus on time. Every event is organized with a great grand function, including an annual sports day once a year and an annual function. The playground is available for play, and they also provide government-offered scholarships every year; we get two or more.

Absolutely worth it for UG course.
Placements: There is no direct placements in UG courses, but you can get it by entering PG courses. Most of the internship you get in DBT-ILS with so high level scientists and professors. You can get your placements also in RNA - BIO like companies where they use their own research materials to do further researches.
Infrastructure: There is SC/ST hostel in college campus, where rural students come and study in so low budget and get their passion in hands. There is 3 labs with full of equipments by which you will be doing all your practical with so much of ease and perfectly correct.
Faculty: The teachers are really cooperative and having so high level of research background for which you can get a high level of study in your UG courses also. There is six semester exams in the course and internals before every semester. Every exam gets conducted with so much of discipline.
