Wipro, TCS, Infosys, and Amazon offer students internships for Software Development.
Placements: In the college, there is a separate management called the placement cell to control placements and internships for the students. Around 50 to 60% of the students get placed in the college in reputed companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc. The highest package is 17 LPA, the average is 6 LPA, and the lowest is 5.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The faculty-student ratio is nearly 1:35. All faculty are good in teaching. There are two nurses in the medical room day and night. Good furniture is provided in classrooms. In sports, kabaddi, cricket, and shuttle courts are available for outdoor games. For indoor games, chess, carrom, etc., are available. The meals of this college are average, but middle-class students can survive. Hostels have two types of rooms: larger rooms and smaller rooms. Larger rooms have 7 students for each room, and smaller rooms have 3 students for each room.
Faculty: The faculty-student ratio is nearly 1:35. All faculty are good in my college, but subjects like AEC (Analog Electronic Circuits) faculty are not good at teaching. Every semester, 90% of students clear all subjects in my branch. The curriculum includes theoretical knowledge combined with practical components.
Other: I am studying in the electrical department in my college. In the electrical department, there are fewer opportunities for internships. In other college departments, there are enough opportunities. The average is 20,000, and the minimum is 8,000 for internship students. The college conducts technical fests and cultural fests every year in April and February.

RGUKT Srikakulam College Review.
Placements: About 60 to 70 percent of the students get placed in the college placements. The highest package this year is 16 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Mahindra Tech, and Infosys are the top companies hiring students. The students are placed in these companies in roles like Full Stack Developer, Java Developer, Python Developer, and Data Analyst.
Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi is available across the campus, including classrooms, labs, and libraries, ensuring seamless internet access for academic activities. The classrooms are well-ventilated and equipped with projectors. The library is well-stocked with a vast collection of textbooks and research journals, ensuring students have access to academic materials and quiet study space. When it comes to the hostel and food, the food is not too good; I can rate it as average. Hostels are good. They arrange 7 students in a large room and 3 students in a small room.
Faculty: The faculty at our college is highly qualified, with many holding advanced degrees such as Ph.D. and M.Tech, showcasing their expertise and dedication to academic excellence. The curriculum covers both fundamentals and advanced concepts, and it also includes theoretical knowledge with practical application. As for the semester exams, they are not that tough, and we can easily get good marks. The pass percentage is 40 marks.
Other: I am a CSE student. The reason for choosing this course is that it is trending in the market. The course covers fundamentals to advanced concepts with hands-on projects in the college, and the college also has very experienced faculty. The thing I felt could be improved in this course is to include current trends like Artificial Intelligence and Data Science courses.
Fests: The technical festival, typically held in March, includes hackathons, coding competitions, workshops, and seminars that attract students from various colleges. The government provides scholarships for students who are studying in this college and are from below-poverty backgrounds.

This college needs more development
Placements: It's been 8 years the college has been established, so its too rare to get placements in top or best companies, but present we are getting opportunities from local companies or startups. I think our college need some more time to attract top companies.
Infrastructure: We don't have all facilities, we have no wifi, equipment in labs are not sufficient and some will not work properly. We have some water problems if it's summer it's very difficult to live in hostel. Coming to mess food is good, but they don't follow schedules.
Faculty: Here teachers are willing to teach anything, and they all are highly qualified and have seniority in the field of teaching. Coming to curriculum one semester is completed in 5 to 6 months. It will be difficult at last 2 months for practical tests, exams etc.
Other: University has natural infrastructure. We can enjoy the events as much as we want.

Better college for students with rural talent.
Placements: There is no scope for getting a placement through a campus recruitment drive. If we are truly talented, we can get a good placement off-campus. It requires hard work until we get a place in any company. We need to be sure of the external job market.
Infrastructure: The department blocks have Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms. Wi-Fi is available in classrooms as well as in the Library. The quality of the food is not that much good, though it can be decent on some days. However, don't expect much about games in our college.
Faculty: The faculty are good, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good enough to learn something new, but the main problem here is we do not have that much interaction with faculty members. The course curriculum is good.

Join if you're from middle class and want to improve your skills by yourself.
Placements: In electronics and communication engineering, hardly a 20% percentage of students get placement by on-campus drives. Many students are searching for off-campus jobs in the core domain.
For the students who want their future in the software industry, they got more opportunities than core students.
Infrastructure: There are so many facilities in the hostel and classes. There is a lot of WiFi access and the college will give you a personal laptop. There is a library to improve our skills. But there is some problem with labs. Medical facilities were good. Food was average.
Faculty: Teachers are highly knowledgeable persons but they are contract-based faculty. So, they are more concerned about their future; somehow, they didn't bother about students much. But when we ask for something, they respond very quickly and the faculty was so helpful in our college life.
The course curriculum was good. There are 4 projects for the course. Those are very helpful to our future. Those projects will make us industry-ready.
Other: This college is a very good option for people who come from the middle class because all the fees will be borne by the government only and there is a lot of time to improve our skills by ourselves only.

Lack of faculty, good infrastructure.
Placements: Nearly 60% of students from my course got placed. The highest package is around 15 Lacs per annum, with the lowest being 30k per month and an average of 6 Lacs per annum. Companies like Wipro, Grindlex, and Value Creed are recruiting students and offering internships as well. Roles like full stack web developer, SDE intern, and software engineer are offered in my course.
Infrastructure: The classroom environment is good. We have projector facilities, good lab equipment, and every student gets a laptop from the college. For 3rd and 4th-year students, there is free Wi-Fi. CSE labs are conducted in classrooms. We have a canteen and a food court. A hospital is available 24 hours, but the food in the mess is not good at all.
Faculty: The main problem with the college is the lack of faculty. The administration often brings guest lecturers from outside the campus. We have 3 mid exams of 15 marks each, and the best two are considered. There are 10 marks from assignments and 60 marks for the end-semester exam, totaling 100 marks per subject. Passing the exams is fairly easy.
Other: It is a 6-year integrated B.Tech course from 11th standard to graduation. The fee for 11th and 12th, known as PUC, is 40k, and for B.Tech, it ranges from 45k to 50k. Many students here come from poor backgrounds and belong to backward castes, making them eligible for scholarships given directly by the government. The scholarship covers 3 to 4 phases of 12.5k for college fees and 2 phases of 10k for hostel expenses. Any remaining amount must be paid by the student.
