Ramaiah Institute of Technology in a Nutshell.
Placements: The placement percentage is around 70%. The highest placement was 55 Lacs this year, which was off-campus. The average placement for my branch, which is CSE (AI/ML), is 15 Lacs. The top recruiter was Oracle with a 35 Lacs package. Most of the internships applied by the students were off-campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great. The Wi-Fi speed is around 100-120 Mbps on average. The libraries are great with a lot of books and a good ambiance. The classrooms are decent, with projectors and green boards. Labs are extremely good, with high-performance computers. The hostel rooms are like hotel rooms. The mess is decent, not that great. The canteen is above average. Medical facilities are top-notch, as we have a medical campus. There are almost no sports and games facilities.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified, as most of them are PhDs with 10+ years of experience. They are supportive as well. The teaching quality is great. The curriculum is up to the mark with Tier 1 colleges. Exams are not that difficult; you can easily pass them with 2 nights of study. The pass percentage is 16 credits out of 40 credits.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in AI and future technologies. The course curriculum is fine, but I wish there were more on-campus internship opportunities. The campus is very small, but the infrastructure is nice. The crowd is decent, with a lot of talented individuals. There are scholarship opportunities for SC/ST/BPL students. There are many extracurricular activities with a good number of clubs. There are two fests: Udbhav and KR Fest.

MSRIT, you should consider it.
Placements: The placements are decent. The maximum package is 55 LPA, and the average package is approximately 15 LPA. Some of the main recruiters are Amazon, Wipro, and Infosys. Approximately 85% of students are placed. Internship opportunities are also good. The placement starts at the end of the third year, but before that, you can apply for internships and other opportunities.
Infrastructure: The facilities are strict, but they will help you if it is related to your course curriculum. The hostel facility is good, but the food is average. The college campus has a gym, and the sports facilities are also average. The college also has a canteen that has good food and various varieties.
Faculty: The curriculum is industry-based, so that will help you. The faculty are also helpful and well-qualified. The exams are held twice: one internal and one external. The internal exams are checked by the teachers and are kind of easy. The final examinations are quite tough, and it is something I don't like: we have to pay extra fees for rechecking the final examinations.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) - Batch of 2021

Best college for management studies.
Placements: Last year, the placements were not very good but normally placements are good in our course. Companies like Bajaj Finance, Aditya Birla group and Yes Bank recruit from our college. At least 70 percent of students get internships and placements every year.
Infrastructure: The quality of the facilities is good here. The library is very large here and all kinds of books are available every time. Mentors are also good here and they support students every time. Classrooms are large and comfortable, and labs are well-equipped. Hostels are well maintained and rooms are furnished here. Mess is hygienic and food quality is decent.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good at our college, according to me. Exams are easy here so students can easily get passing marks. Teachers are available to help anytime and they clear every doubt of students easily. Classes are very interactive in our course and we enjoy it. Overall, good teachers and mentors are there.
Other: The best thing is that placements are good in our course.

B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering - Batch of 2027

A good college in terms of placements and infrastructure, but no fests or campus life.
Placements: For our department, Electronics and Telecommunication, no official data is disclosed by the department, but whatever we have heard from our seniors is that placement is there for the core field, where the median salary lies around 7-9 LPA. Many students do opt for IT jobs or plan for further studies.
Infrastructure: In terms of facilities, it is one of the best facilities a college can offer. Wi-Fi has an average speed of 100 Mbps, classroom seats are fairly comfortable, and libraries are plentiful, both for each department as well as common libraries. There are four options for hostels, unfortunately, only for boys. There are no college hostels provided for girls (P.S. there are plenty of PGs and hostels around the college). The options are: Freshers Block (only for freshers), Aryabhatta, Ratan Tata Block, and PG Hostel. A student can choose as per availability, fee, and convenience.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are fairly good, and the exams happen once every month, so the timings are fine as well. There is placement in the college, which says that the course curriculum is somewhat relevant, though we have heard from our seniors that our syllabus is a bit outdated compared to the current market scenario. The pass percentage is good, though the semester exams are between moderate to tough levels, especially for circuital branches like EEE, ECE, ETE, and EIE.
Other: What I dislike is we don't have fests like other colleges, and the campus area is not that big. Apart from that, the college is very good; you will find a good crowd here. Clubs are mid; you have to grind on your own if you want to stand out from the league.

B.E. in Chemical Engineering - Batch of 2028

GO FOR IT: Good faculty for the chemical department and engineering sciences.
Placements: The average package for the year 2024 was 5 LPA, which, according to me, is great considering the fact that the majority gets placed and compared to other universities where the average packages are somewhat 2.5 LPA to 3 LPA. Almost 96% of the students get placed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very mid, don't have high expectations, but the campus is pretty huge though. The cafeteria is pretty affordable and decent. The Wi-Fi connection and network inside the college campus are very bad. Commuting to college is easy; there's a bus stop walkable from the college, and the metro station is 2 km away.
Faculty: The faculty is highly knowledgeable and qualified. They always follow the lesson plans and go according to it. The curriculum is very well-curated. The exams are pretty hard and stressful. The pass percentage is average. But the college is very strict about the 85% attendance requirement.
Other: Campus life is great, and fests too.

MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology honest review about the ECE department.
Placements: I did my B.Tech in the ECE department. The placement information given on the website is completely fake. Only 20% of the class was placed. Most of the placement offers were taken by the CS/IS department. The highest is 48 LPA, but only one got placed in that, and the lowest is 1 LPA. Companies like Oracle, Texas Instruments, etc., are top companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities are quite good; the library has a large amount of study materials. Some professors are extremely good. The tutorial system is a scam, and the proctor whom I got was extremely rude and did not give a chance to take up any internships. They were never useful for us.
Faculty: Not every faculty member is very knowledgeable. The curriculum is good, but practical experience is not so good. The curriculum does include many electives for us to choose from, which is a good thing for us to take up the course of our choice. There won't be any industrial visits.
Other: Please don't believe the official website information; it is completely false.
