Infrastructure: This is the best place to live and study. Hostels are completely furnished and well decorated. The best part is the discipline and the restrictions to stop wasting time and utilising the best of the student's time. Food quality is very good. A canteen is also available in this college.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely good and helpful. They teach students the best. The best physics department in Kolkata. The curriculum is extremely progressive and useful for national-level exams like jam JEST and TIFR. The pass percentage is 100%, and the examination system is very fair.

This college has a cultural heritage.
Placements: As it is not an engineering college, you don't get any placements. However, after B.Sc, you have to pass M.Sc entrance tests like JAM, JEST, TIFR, central university exams, etc., to get an M.Sc degree. From this college, students get selected in reputed research institutions like IISC and TIFR. Many students also get selected in IITs through the JAM exam. Almost 90% of students get selected in these kinds of exams, and they pursue M.Sc. In this course, you get a B.Sc Hons degree in physics with maths and chemistry/computer science as general (pass) subjects.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on our campus and classrooms, but you will need permission from HOD and the principal to get access to it. Labs are very enriched with instruments and much better compared to other colleges. The library is the most organised and beautiful place in this institution. It is highly maintained, and online catalogs are also available. Every department has its own place. You will get books even from 1960s period to the current edition. The mess and canteen are also well organised. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals are served here. Tea and snacks are provided in the morning, and meals are served 2 times, i.e., at night and at noon. A heavy tiffin will be provided in the evening. There is a dispensary, and regularly a doctor visits here. All sorts of sports equipment like cricket, football, volleyball, table tennis and badminton are available here.
Faculty: Faculty members here are helpful with an enriched academic background. The course was relevant. If you want to be a physicist, you have to be good at basics as well as with advanced studies. There are 2 main exams, i.e., mid-semester and end semester. End-semester exams carry the highest percentage of marks. They provide continuous assessments, class tests, quiz and vivas regularly). You have to attend a lab exam for science subjects. Passing marks is 40%. Our college has the new CBCS system of education, which is much helpful for students.
Other: I love to study physics, and this is the number 1 institution in West Bengal. NIRF ranked it 5th and is always within 10 ranks all over India. Due to this pandemic, the teaching mode has become online, and students are facing issues.

I am blessed to get into this college, and it becomes your second home as you enter the hostel.
Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed easily. B.Sc. students got into IITs to pursue higher studies. Some of the students got placed in Solvay, Johnson and Johnson, ACC Cements, Grasim-like companies. Academic internships are provided in IITs. Companies recruited students as analyst, chemist quality controller etc.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available on the entire campus. A world-class library is available with a collection of more than 90,000 books for different subjects. Laboratories are great. One can individually perform experiments in different instruments. Except for the regular faculty members, eminent visiting faculty members are also there to support us. Teaching-learning facilities are great.
Faculty: It is an autonomous college, which can conduct its own examinations affiliated with Calcutta University. The teachers are very experienced, helpful and also very supportive. As the number of students is very less in our college, teachers can individually take care of students.
Other: Good financial support is provided for needy students.

It is the best college in West Bengal.
Placements: Every year 40-60% of students from our course get a job, and other students opt for higher studies. Our college provides high-level facilities and properly guides the students. They build a bright future for them. I am satisfied to complete this course from this college.
Infrastructure: There are advanced facilities in our college. We have projectors in every classroom. The quality of education provided is very high. The laboratories have advanced instruments like XRD, photoluminescence instruments, NMR instruments, etc. It also has a library with almost 70,000 books on different topics. It also has two playgrounds. It provides indoor games like table tennis, carrom, chess, etc.
Faculty: Our college has experienced faculty members. They are helpful in classrooms and even outside the classrooms. They guide us in the study and even in our daily life problems. They are guiding us like our parents. Semester exams are tough with respect to the level of other colleges, but the faculty members prepare us for that.

I am absolutely satisfied because of the unique atmosphere provided by the college.
Placements: Students from the industrial chemistry department mostly get jobs after B.Sc. Highly reputed companies like ACC, Emami, India Oil, ONGC, etc., visit here every year for placements, and the position offered is chemist or analyst. The average salary package offered here is around 2 LPA-2.5 LPA. But most of the students opt for higher studies.
Infrastructure: Labs are well equipped here. There are more than 15 research laboratories for chemistry PhD scholars. Computer labs are well equipped. There is an internet Kiosk also for study purposes. There is a huge library which contains many books on every necessary subject. Moreover, there is a small library in the hostel building for leisure purposes. Hostels are clean and quite spacious, and every hostel room contains 5 students. The food provided here is hygienic and healthy. The canteen is also available, which offers food at a reasonable price. A doctor also visits the campus for any need and emergency. Sports facilities are enormous. The college has 3 volleyball courts, 2 badminton courts and 1 huge playground for cricket and football. Every hostel building contains one table tennis court and carrom boards as well.
Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified and are from very great colleges like IIT, Jadavpur University, IIEST, Calcutta University, etc. They are really skilful and experienced. Every year the college produces excellent students. Almost every student qualifies in various entrance exams like IIT JAM, GATE, etc. Last year, an academically top student got all India 2nd rank in GATE.
Other: The atmosphere for studying is really good and unique here, and hence the college is successful enough for producing quality students every year. Various scholarship programs are also available for students who have financial needs.

I am very much satisfied as being a student in Vidyamandira, Belur, Howrah.
Placements: Almost 60-80% of the students got placed. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 30,000-50,000 per month. TCS, Wipro and Cognizant companies provided jobs here, and also other government jobs. Out of 60 students in the course, almost 40 students got internships. Roles offered to us as a manager, HR, head analytics, etc. in excellent institutions.
Infrastructure: As it is a missionary college, it has fulfilled all our primary needs. Mobile and Wi-Fi usage is prohibited in college, but students can access the internet in library computers. There is an excellent hostel, and it serves a good quantity and quality of food, in which vegetarian and nonvegetarian included.
Faculty: There were excellent faculty members here. Some were honorary maharajas, and others were from IIT, IISC and many reputed institutions of India and abroad. The course curriculum was excellent and student-friendly. We'd enjoyed learning them. Every chapter of the course was relevant and helped in future studies.
Other: I choose this course because I like it and this college has the best faculty members in the whole Kolkata. Everything is best here nothing to improve. Many scholarships like MSM, SW, Vivekananda, and chief minister fund scholarships are provided here to needy students.
