Worth Pursuing After 10th Diploma at Rameshwaram Institute of Technology and Management (RITM)?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what you need to consider:

    Pros:

    * Good infrastructure and facilities, including WiFi-enabled campus, laboratories, and a well-maintained library.
    * Reasonable fees compared to other institutions.
    * Experienced faculty members who can guide students in their academic journey.
    * Good placement records, with some students securing packages up to INR5 LPA.
    * Opportunities for internships and research projects.

    Cons:

    * Poor placement records, with only approximately 20-30 students getting placed annually.
    * Limited internship opportunities, and most students rely on personal connections to secure internships.
    * Hostel facilities have mixed reviews, with some students reporting issues with food quality, cleanliness, and availability of resources.
    * Academic performance can be challenging, with some students struggling to maintain a passing grade due to inadequate preparation and lack of industry exposure.

    Verdict:
While RITM offers some benefits, such as good infrastructure and relatively affordable fees, its poor placement records and limited internship opportunities might deter potential students. Furthermore, the inconsistent academic performance and subpar hostel facilities raise concerns. Considering these factors, it's essential to weigh the pros and cons carefully before deciding whether to pursue a Diploma at RITM after completing your 10th standard.

Q:   How effective is the placement cell for After 10th Diploma courses at Rameshwaram Institute of Technology and Management?

    A:
    {Source: After 10th Diploma students & alumni}

Effectiveness of Placement Cell for After 10th Diploma Courses at Rameshwaram Institute of Technology and Management

Unfortunately, according to student reviews, the placement cell at Rameshwaram Institute of Technology and Management (RITM) is poorly effective for after 10th Diploma courses. Here's what students have said:

    * "Placements are the worst here. approximately 20-30 students get placed." (Student Review)
    * ".there are no internship facilities here. Few small companies visit this college." (Student Review)

Students reported that only small companies visit the campus for recruitment, and even these offers are scarce. Additionally, there are no internship opportunities available, making it challenging for students to gain work experience and build their skills.

It appears that the placement cell does not offer much support to students looking for employment after completing their Diploma courses. As a result, students who attend RITM may need to consider alternative options, such as seeking out internships or part-time jobs on their own, to gain valuable work experience.

It is a very good college in terms of facilities within the fee structure.
Placements: Many companies visited our college with their packages, terms and conditions, and minimum and medium wages. You have the option to choose which package you are comfortable with. Faculty members provided a lot of information regarding placements. Many internship programs were held in our college.
Infrastructure: All facilities and infrastructure were available in all departments. Wi-Fi was mostly available at the time of admission. Lab sessions are regularly scheduled. Students are provided with extra classes. The huge library had a lot of books related to our interests. All facilities and good-quality food were provided, especially at the time of admission. Our college had a canteen, medical facilities, and sports.
Faculty: All teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good. The course curriculum was relevant to make students ready for the industry. All courses were according to the semester. The exam process was very easy and simple. Great guidance was provided.

I suggest you choose this college. I had the worst experience of my college life. I regret.
Placements: There are very poor placements here, and small companies visited here. MNCs and reputed companies do not visit this college. Placements are the worst here. Approximately 20-30 students get placed, and there are no internship facilities here. Few small companies visit this college. If you want good placements and internships, then don't join this college.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi here, and even there is a network in college. Classrooms are very dirty, and there are small classrooms. Even they don't allow students to sit in the library, and even there are no books in the library. The canteen is small, and the food is not served. In the mess, the quality of food served is very bad.
Faculty: The faculty members here don't have the knowledge, and they don't know how to talk in English. Their speaking communication is very bad, and they have very little knowledge regarding the subject. Few teachers are good, and exams are considered twice a month only. Even courses are not properly completed.
Other: The diploma has a good opportunity to get jobs in the government field. So I had chosen it, but the biggest mistake I made was to choose this college. Fests are quite high, but the facilities are the worst. Students get scholarships with a very low amount.

    My experience at RITM Lucknow.
Placements: 95% of students were placed at my time. The highest package offered is 20,000 per month. Bajaj Group and Indian Nippon Groups are mainly coming to hire students. If we talk about internships, so 30–40% of students from my batch got internships.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my department are good, but I think management has to focus on them to make them much better. The hostel is outside the college campus, and the quality of the food in the mess and canteen is the worst. I also left the hostel after living in it for one year because of the food.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful and qualified, but few of them don't have the knowledge of how to teach and how to improve the skills of students. The main problem in this college is that they increase fees at midterm, of course, without telling it at the time of admission.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in engineering, and after that, I pursued a B.Tech. from a different college.

Over all a good college for students.
Placements: The placement record is about 100 per cent. The package is given to students of about 100 per cent. Companies visit like Suzuki, mind, optical fibre approaches students with an annual package of about 3.5 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The hostel is just a bit good. But in terms of food, it is not that great. It does not have Wi-Fi and a lab. No special features in the hostel are there. A vegan hostel but not for non-vegetarian people because it is not spicy and yummy.
Faculty: The curriculum is good. Teachers teach well to students to make them capable of facing every situation. Yes, it does make students industry-ready. Teaching quality is definitely fine as a group of experienced teachers are teaching very effectively and in a very easy way.

Really great experience for me doing engineering in this college.
Placements: The maximum of students got placement during the last year of the programme and the highest package is around 5 LPA and the average package is around 3 LPA. About 70% got internship opportunity and the top recruiting companies are bajaj and L&T many more regional companies hire a student for internship and as well as placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is really fantastic. It comprises of all thing required in engineering college like a library which has good stuff of books and labs are fully equipped with instruments. The quality of food available here like home food it's a very fantastic experience and the canteen has various types of snacks and cold drinks available and regularly sports are arranged in the college premises.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful especially first-year teachers are very helpful and they create a path for the students to adjust to the college premises and this course makes students industry-ready. If you attend regular classes then it doesn't. Hard to qualify for semester exams.

College is just okay; with hard work, you can succeed.
Placements: Placement is not so good here for all branches except the Mechanical branch. There are no placements for Civil; no companies come here for jobs, which creates a lot of difficulties for students who do not get direct placements. It’s sad for them and for us. I am in the Civil branch.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are quite good, but the facilities are lacking, which is disappointing. I just want to work hard to get a proper job. It’s sad for everyone pursuing this course from my college. I just want to complete it as soon as possible, and there is no AC.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are hardworking and supportive, but some have difficulty teaching us. I appreciate the teaching quality, as the faculty is good and calm. However, some improvements are still needed for the students.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in the work of civil engineering.
