DAVV admission through CUET

DAVV admission through CUET 2025: Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore offers admission to various UG courses through CUET UG exam scores. Candidates seeking admission at DAVV must take CUET UG 2025 exams to be eligible to apply for DAVV CUET UG admissions. NTA will conduct CUET UG exams for the academic year 2025-2026 in May/June 2025. The mode of examination will be Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates must keep an eye on the NTA's official website for CUET 2025 form date and fill the form as soon as possible. Once the CUET exams are conducted and results are announced, DAVV will provide the admission details on the official website - dauniv.ac.in

Q:   Is CUET compulsory for taking admission in central university?

A:

Yes, CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is compulsory for admissions to undergraduate programs in most Central Universities in India. It serves as a unified entrance exam for students seeking admission to various undergraduate courses across participating Central Universities. Each university sets its eligibility criteria, but CUET scores are a primary criterion for admission. Exceptions may exist for certain specialised programs or institutions, but for most central universities, CUET is now an essential requirement for UG admissions.

Q:   How do I select the domain subjects for CUET UG?

A:

Before selecting the test or domain subjects, candidates are advised to visit the official website of university/organaisation they wish to apply for. Candidates must check the courses offered and eligibility test that they should appear in for admission to desired course. The choice of language/domain subject and General test will depend upon the course and university. Candidates will be able to opt for one or more tests as per the requirement of the course and university from the following sections:

  • Section I - 13 Languages
  • Section II - 23 Domain Specific Subjects
  • Section III - General Test

It is not mandatory to choose any one or more of the tests stated above. The choice of tests would depend on the course/s opted by the candidate and the University / Organization / Institution where admission is sought. 

Q:   Does CUET require OBC certificate?

A:

Yes, OBC candidates applying for CUET must upload the OBC-NCL certificate in online CUET application form. The OBC-NCL certificate must be issued in consonance with the latest guidelines of the Government of India. If candidate fail to upload the OBC-NCL certificate (issued on or after 01 April, 2024) at the time of CUET 2025 registration, then in such case they will have to upload a declaration in lieu of OBC-NCl certificate to that effect. 

Candidates belonging to reserved categories are admitted under the seats reserved for them in accordance with the rules prescribed by Government of India. However, in the case of central universities admission, the reservation criteria of the respective university shall be applicable.

DAVV offers multiple courses for admission after Class 12. To get admission to the university, candidates must select the required CUET domain subject and fulfill the CUET eligibility criteria. DAVV Admission Through CUET 2025: Application Process

To gain admission at DAVV through CUET, candidates have to fill the online admission form soon available on the university's official website. Once the application form is completed and submitted, candidates have to pay the DAVV counselling fee and upload the relevant documents to complete the admission process.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya - dauniv.ac.in

Step 2: Click on the link stating 'CUET - 2025' under "Admissions" option on the header menu of the landing page.

Step 3: Click on the "New Registration" option on the screen.

Step 4: Enter the following details to complete the one-time registration:

  • CUET application number
  • Date of birth (as per CUET application form)
  • Captcha code

Step 5: Click on the ‘Register’ button to access the DAVV application form for CUET based admissions.

Step 6: Log in once again to fill the online application form along with the course-college choices.

Step 7: Upload all relevant documents, including scanned copies of passport-size photo, signature, and other mandatory documents.

Step 8: Pay the online application fee based on the category.

DAVV CUET Counselling 2025: Documents Required

Candidates eligible for admission to UG courses/integrated courses through CUET UG 2025 at DAVV can participate in the counselling process by completing the above steps. Candidates are required to bring in the following documents at the time of counselling to complete their admission process:

For Open Category/ST/SC/OBC (Non-creamy Layer)/EWS/Persons with disabilities (PWD)/J&K Migrant (JKM):

1. Copy of NTA Mark sheet of CUET (UG) – 2025 self-attested.

2. Category-wise merit of CUET (UG) – 2025 for DAVV downloaded from Online Portal self-attested.

3. Passport size Photographs (2)

4. Copy of counseling registration form

5. Mark Sheet of qualifying examination (Original + 3 Photocopies Self Attested)

6. Transfer Certificate: Original + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)

7. Migration Certificate: Original + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)

8. Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates (Original + 1 Photocopy self-attested)

9. Income Certificate for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) candidate (Original + 1 Photocopy self-attested)

10. EWS certificate from the competent authority for the financial year 2024-25 (Only for M.P. domicile) (Original + 1 Photocopy self-attested)

11. PWD certificate from competent authority (Original + 1 Photocopy self-attested)

Q:   How do I apply for a college which requires CUET percentage even though am yet to give CUET?

A:

Candidates can apply for CUET score accepting colleges through CUET UG 2025 application form. While filling the application form, candidates will be required to enter the name of the preffered universities and courses in order of preference. On declaration of the CUET results, the scores will be shared with the unoversities for which candidate has applied. Basis on the score obtained candidate will be shortlisted for the applied course.

Q:   When can I apply for the CUET exam?

A:

National Testing Agency (NTA) will commence the CUET UG 2025 registrations at cuetug.ntaonline.in. Candidates desirous of taking admission to University/college through CUET must fill the application form before the deadline. On the release of the CUET notification important dates for CUET 2025 will be announced. CUET 2025 application process will be in online mode. Candidates will be required to fill the application form, upload documents and pay the application fee in online mode only. CUET is a gateway to more tahn 250 universities across India for its UG courses.

Q:   How many subjects can I choose for the CUET exam?

A:

From CUET UG 2025 onwards, candidates can now choose for five CUET subjects. Earlier, the subject choices were six. With the rediuction in number of CUET subjects, the choices have been reduced. Candidates can opt for five subjects from 23 domain subjects of any stream irrespective of subjects studied in class 12th.

Q:   What is the criteria for admission via CUET exam?

A:

For admission in Universities through CUET (UG) - 2025, the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences etc.. of the respective University / Institution shall be applicable. For appearing in CUET exam there is no age limit, however, candidates will be required to follow the age criteria (if any) prescribed the university in which candidate is desirous of taking admission. As the eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective programs.

Mere appearance in the CUET exam will not guarantee admission to the programme untill the candidates has:

  • Studied subject (s) in major
  • Fulfilled the subject combination criteria

For NRI/NRI Sponsored Candidates:

1. Passport size Photographs (2)

2. Mark Sheet of qualifying examination (Original + 3 Photocopies) (Self Attested)

3. Transfer Certificate: Original + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)

4. Migration Certificate: Original + 1 Photocopy (Self Attested)

5. Eligibility certificate from the University

6. Certificate issued by Indian Diplomatic Mission or Chancellor or Commission abroad under their seal stating that the father/parent of the applicant is an Indian resident in that country

7. Work Permit/ Employer Certificate

8. Bank Statement of Sponsorer

9. Copy of valid Passport and Visa

10. Certificate of Sponsorship in case of NRI Sponsored Candidate

11. Affidavit from the Sponsorer

12. Gap Certificate undertaking as per format given at the end of the document
