CUET 2024 exam was held from May 15 to May 24, 2024, in hybrid mode.
To apply for M.Sc course at DAVV, the candidates must have scored 45-50% in Class 12 and also this percentage in Graduation, and also qualify CUET 2024, for BE / BTech course, they must pass Class 12 with 45-50% and need to qualify JEE Mains/ CUET/ MP BE. To apply for BBA and B.Com courses, they need to score between 45-60% in Class 12 and must qualify CUET exam.
Q: How do I select the domain subjects for CUET UG?
Before selecting the test or domain subjects, candidates are advised to visit the official website of university/organaisation they wish to apply for. Candidates must check the courses offered and eligibility test that they should appear in for admission to desired course. The choice of language/domain subject and General test will depend upon the course and university. Candidates will be able to opt for one or more tests as per the requirement of the course and university fro the following sections:
- Section IA - 13 Languages
- Section IB - 20 Languages
- Section II - 27 Domain Specific Subjects
- Section III - General Test
It is not mandatory to choose any one or more of the tests stated above. The choice of tests would depend on the course/s opted by the candidate and the University / Organization / Institution where admission is sought.
Q: Can I opt for several subjects in section II of CUET to apply for various courses?
Yes, an CUET applicant can opt for one or more combinations of the following:
- Section I: Language Test
- Section II: Domain subject test
- Section III: General Aptitude Test
Candidates will be able to opt up to a maximum of five subjects in order to apply to different applicable courses that require these subjects for being eligible for admissions. Candidates can choose subjects irrresptive of subjects studied in 12th grade under their eligibility conditions for a particular programme.
Q: Does CUET require OBC certificate?
Yes, OBC candidates applying for CUET must upload the OBC-NCL certificate in online CUET application form. The OBC-NCL certificate must be issued in consonance with the latest guidelines of the Government of India. If candidate fail to upload the OBC-NCL certificate (issued on or after 01 April, 2024) at the time of CUET 2025 registration, then in such case they will have to upload a declaration in lieu of OBC-NCl certificate to that effect.
Candidates belonging to reserved categories are admitted under the seats reserved for them in accordance with the rules prescribed by Government of India. However, in the case of central universities admission, the reservation criteria of the respective university shall be applicable.

DAVV admission through CUET 2023: Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility criteria for DAVV admission through CUET 2023:
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board in Science or a relevant stream to be admitted to bachelor’s degree programs in the Central Universities.
- Also, the students in Class 12 who are yet to appear for the Board exam were also eligible to apply.
- There is no age limit for appearing in the CUET 2024 exam. However, the candidates will be required to fulfil the age criteria (if any) of the University/Institution/Organization in which they are willing to take admission.
- The candidates must attempt only those subjects in the CUET UG 2024 examination as per the choice given in the Application Form. Therefore, they must exercise the choice of subjects very carefully. Attempting a subject combination different than choice given in the application form will invite disqualification from counselling / admission process.
- About CUET Nationality Criteria the candidates must be an Indian citizen, a constituent subject of Nepal, Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee who landed in India before 1 January 1962 to make India their permanent home and reside there permanently, and Pakistanis, Burmese, Sri Lankans, Kenyans, Ugandans, Tanzanians, Zambians, Malawians, Zaireans, Ethiopians, and people from Vietnam who permanently moved to India.
DAVV Admission Process through CUET 2024
DAVV offers UG admissions based on CUET exam scores. Those who will qualify the CUET 2024 examination will be able to apply. The admission process involves the following step:

Q: How do I apply for a college which requires CUET percentage even though am yet to give CUET?
Candidates can apply for CUET score accepting colleges through CUET UG 2025 application form. While filling the application form, candidates will be required to enter the name of the preffered universities and courses in order of preference. On declaration of the CUET results, the scores will be shared with the unoversities for which candidate has applied. Basis on the score obtained candidate will be shortlisted for the applied course.
Q: What is the criteria for admission via CUET exam?
For admission in Universities through CUET (UG) - 2025, the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences etc.. of the respective University / Institution shall be applicable. For appearing in CUET exam there is no age limit, however, candidates will be required to follow the age criteria (if any) prescribed the university in which candidate is desirous of taking admission. As the eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective programs.
Mere appearance in the CUET exam will not guarantee admission to the programme untill the candidates has:
- Studied subject (s) in major
- Fulfilled the subject combination criteria
Q: When can I apply for the CUET exam?
National Testing Agency (NTA) will commence the CUET UG 2025 registrations at cuetug.ntaonline.in. Candidates desirous of taking admission to University/college through CUET must fill the application form before the deadline. On the release of the CUET notification important dates for CUET 2025 will be announced. CUET 2025 application process will be in online mode. Candidates will be required to fill the application form, upload documents and pay the application fee in online mode only. CUET is a gateway to more tahn 250 universities across India for its UG courses.
Q: How many subjects can I choose for the CUET exam?
From CUET UG 2025 onwards, candidates can now choose for five CUET subjects. Earlier, the subject choices were six. With the rediuction in number of CUET subjects, the choices have been reduced. Candidates can opt for five subjects from 23 domain subjects of any stream irrespective of subjects studied in class 12th.
Q: What is programme specific eligibility criteria in CUET?
For admission to the desirous University/Institution, the candidates must appear in CUET 2025 in the Languages and Domain Specific subjects as per the Program-Specific Eligibility for which s (he) is desirous to take admission. For instance if candidate wishes to apply for B.Com (Hons.) programe in Delhi University he/she will be required to make the subject combination as :
Combination I: Any one Language from List A + Mathematics/Applied Mathematics + Any two subjects out of which at least one should be from List B1
OR
Combination II: Any one Language from List A + Accountancy/Book Keeping + Any two subjects out of which at least one should be from List B1
Candidates are advised to check CUET programme specific eligibility criteria before filling the application form, failing which they will not qualify for further admission process.

To apply for UG courses at DAVV through CUET 2024, the candidates need to submit online application form for CUET (DAVV-UG)-2024, upload the scanned photograph and signatures at the official website - https://cuet.samarth.ac.in. On submission of details and required fee, a Confirmation Page with Application Number shall be generated. Candidates are required to take printout of Confirmation Page and keep it for future reference.

- Application: The mode of application is online. Candidates must register online and then fill out the online application form.
- Selection rounds: DAVV University admission to UG and PG courses are offered based on CUET exam. Candidates can appear for the university-level counselling-based selection rounds and then wait for the release of their results.
- Admission confirmation: Once the selection rounds are done, the shortlisted candidates are called for document verification. Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the college/university.
