Q:   Is B.Com at Regional College of Professional Studies and Research a good choice?

    A:
    {Source: B.Com students & alumni}

Based on student reviews and feedback, here's a summary:

    * Infrastructure: Average infrastructure with limited facilities, no hostel, and a small playground.
    * Fees: Affordable fees compared to other colleges, making it a good option for those looking for a budget-friendly education.
    * Teaching Quality: Helpful and knowledgeable teachers who are willing to assist students beyond academics.
    * Curriculum: Relevant curriculum, although some students felt that it could be updated to include more practical learning.
    * Examinations: Easy-to-moderate examination levels, with a pass percentage of 33%.
    * Internships and Placements: Limited opportunities for internships and placements, with only one company visiting during the passing-out year and offering low salaries (Rs. 10,000 - Rs. 30,000 per month).
    * Events and Extracurricular Activities: Regular events and festivals organized by the college, providing students with opportunities to engage in co-curricular activities.

Overall, while the college may have its limitations, it seems that the affordable fees, supportive teachers, and decent curriculum might make it a viable choice for students who prioritize these factors over modern amenities and career prospects. However, prospective students should carefully consider the limited job opportunities and low salaries associated with this program.

The best college for commerce students with not much crowd and pocket friendly fee.
Placements: Placement were not so good. Only one company came during my passing out year and that too was a BPO. The salary package offered was also not up to the mark. Only 10% students got campus placement.
Infrastructure: There was no hostel facility available in the college. The building was not too big. The ground was also small in size. Wi-Fi was not available and mobile phones were not allowed in the college campus. The computer lab was good.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable with good teaching quality. Apart from completing the course, they were always ready to help students with everything. Curriculum was totally relevant but a few changes can be done. Difficulty level of semester exams was easy to moderate.
Other: The college is totally worth the money spent on it. The fees was not too high and according to the campus and facilities provided to the students. The fee structure was lower compared to other colleges. Lot of events and programs took place throughout the year. They were fun and entertaining.

    This college is very good.
Placements: In this college, there were no placements so no packages were offered. This university is not good so students will not have good skills of anything. They had to search their path by themselves to achieve their reasonable goals.
Infrastructure: Laboratories were there for BCA or B.Com computer students only. There was no such use for Wi-Fi there for the study if needed then they will provide it. The hostel facility was not there, and students had to take themself guest house. Everything was near to search and valuate the thing where students can get reasonable things.
Faculty: Faculty members were good, but this university was not good. The exam system will encourage students for efforting. Exams were not tough and students do not need the effort to qualify.
Other: I will study something different from others but I was wrong all courses were equal. There was no awareness about the B.Com computer, and it was sufficient to full our needs. Students can choose any course, and provide a reasonable fee according to private colleges.

It is not a good college for students' future.
Placements: The placements in this college are below average. No students get placed as they used to show in their prospectus. No internships are provided for students. There is not a single arrival of a big company or multinational company in the college.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is average. The campus is small. Playgrounds are approximately negligible. Only one lab is available in the whole college. Hostel facilities are also not available. The canteen is too small. Classrooms are overall okay. The library is too small, and they don't allow us to sit and read books there.
Faculty: The teachers are not much qualified. Mostly, the teachers are alumni of the same college. The curriculum and syllabus are according to the certified university, which is Rohilkhand University. The pass percentage is 33%. Exam paper level is moderate.

If you find this college useful for you, then you can join it.
Placements: Placements are good for commerce students only. If you need to do any other preparation, then you can take admission here. I suggest not to worry about the syllabus, and students can do their preparations. Academics percentage doesn't matter. You only need to qualify for your 12th, and then you can enrol here. There are no issues for lack of seats. We didn't get any interviews from college. Wipro and other companies are the top recruiters. For internships, you have to join for it on your own if you want. Courses available here are B.Com Hons, B.Com computers, M.Com, BCA and BBA management, and they are good.
Infrastructure: There is nothing for sports, and medical facilities are also not provided. There is a canteen, but everything is costly. Classrooms are good and air-conditioned, and it has chair and table. Classrooms are huge, so there are no issues with lack of space. Labs are good and clean with lots of systems, and students can't find any lack of system operating.
Faculty: Teachers help you if you need. They are knowledgeable, so they are in college to teach. Our college won't hire unqualified teachers. Teaching quality is good. Teachers are friendly with students, and they try to understand the problem of students. There is no difficulty in any exam, and university exams are very easy. Students only need to improve their presentation skills. Students need to train their minds. The crowd is not more, which is the advantage here. Still, college life is not that good because of less crowd, but in covid time, it is good. Students need to score 33% in each subject or each group. There are many subjects, which are categorised into groups. They put papers 1 and 2 in group A and papers 3 and 4 in group B.
Other: Our college conducts many events like Yumvana, Funcamp, ethnic day and sports days.

The college is very good in commerce stream.
Placements: Students placed in this course are very few because it is a new course. The highest salary offered is not more than Rs. 30,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is not less than Rs. 10,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. The top recruiting companies are IndusInd Bank and Tata Consultancy Services. The internship facility is not provided in this course for students. Top role offered is of a computer operator.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. It is only a commerce college so we have computer labs and a library, but Wi-Fi is not available for students. It is only for faculty members. The canteen facility is not good in the college, and a sports facility is also provided but not on regular basis.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well qualified. The teaching is highly appreciable in the college. The course curriculum is not relevant as it is a new course so people don't know about it. Semester exams are not held in this course. Only yearly exams are conducted and the pass percentage is 33%.
Other: This course looks technical so I chose this course but it was not. The exam pattern and the checking pattern need to be improved for this course. Events are organised by the college on regular basis, and a scholarship facility is also provided by the government.

It is a good college for studies, but the university needs improvement.
Placements: Only a few students got placed in college. The highest salary offered is not more than Rs. 30,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is not less than Rs. 10,000 per month. Top recruiting companies of our college are IndusInd Bank, Tata Consultancy Services, etc. Internships are not provided by the college to students. Roles are generally related to finance only.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. We have a library and a computer lab. But the Wi-Fi facility is available only for teachers, and classrooms are huge with good ventilation. The hostel facility is not provided by the college, and the canteen is also bad.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and highly qualified for the course, and their teaching quality is also very good. They can teach us in both Hindi and English. The course curriculum is not so good. It does not make students industry-ready because it does not provide technical knowledge. It only provides bookish knowledge to students. The semester exams are not so difficult as the university only focuses on the length of the answer sheet and not on the content.
Other: I chose this course because it is highly famous in the commerce stream. The best thing about this course is that it is accepted everywhere. The thing that needs to be improved about this course is that the university should focus on the content writing of the students and not on the page length. Events and fests are regularly organised by the college. The campus surroundings are good and full of greenery. Scholarships are provided to needy students by the governments in a uniform manner.
