I am highly satisfied with this college.
Placements: This college is the best in the printing engineering field. The top press are Anandabazar Patrika, Saraswati Press, Bartaman, etc. Many other foreign companies also visit our campus for recruitment. Two of our seniors get placements in Dubai this year.
Infrastructure: In this college, students have 2 well-equipped smart rooms with proper projectors and sound systems. It also provides a sound design studio for multimedia students. It has fully equipped and high-standard pre-press and post-press laboratories. It also provides physics and chemistry laboratories.
Faculty: Teachers are the best in their fields. They are Ph.D. scholars, and they handle students very patiently. The students of RIPT are very fortunate to have them as a guide. The course strictly follows the WB diploma syllabus. The semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is 40%.

Review of Regional Institute of Printing Technology.
Placements: Around 40% of students were placed with a salary of Rs.4000 to Rs.8000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs.5000 per month in our course. Top recruiting companies were Dreamtech, Animatrix, Kabita Film Production House, etc. Around 20% of students got placement opportunities in Dreamtech and Kabita Film Production House. The top roles offered were video editing, graphic design, animator, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connectivity was not available on campus for students. The phone network was very poor inside the institution. The classrooms were neat, clean, and spacious. The library was well maintained with every book. The facilities were good and helpful. Food quality was well maintained. Sports facilities were not available. Only indoor sports like table tennis, and carrom were available. There is a KPC Medical Hospital near the college. So medical facilities were available.
Faculty: Teachers were well-qualified but they were not specialised in the multimedia trade. The teaching quality was good but still not enough as they don't have industrial knowledge. The course curriculum was relevant but it was not enough to make students industry-ready. The semester exams were good. Questions papers were of moderate difficulty. The pass percentage was 70-80%.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in the field of multimedia technology. The best thing about this course is it helps us to explore both analytical and creative thinking. It provides us the platform to express our thoughts and views without any fear. Things I wish that could be better are the recruitment of more specialised faculty members who could provide us with the industrial knowledge and improving the technical requirements of computers for smooth working. We had a special event every year called Exuberance where we showcase different multimedia skills like graphic design, showcasing some old films, and also let the juniors learn from works. Festivals like Saraswati Puja, Holi, Vishwakarma Puja, etc., were celebrated every year.

The examination facility should be improved.
Placements: About 60% of the students were placed in Multimedia Technology Engineering. The highest salary package offered was Rs. 20,000 per month, the lowest was Rs. 5,000 per month, and the average was Rs. 10,000 per month. Surinder Films was the top recruiting company for our course. About 30% of the students were interned in some private companies. The top role offered in our course was as a senior editor in VFX.
Infrastructure: The college is simple and clean with basic infrastructure. The hostel facilities are quite good and simple. The food was served in a good manner and was of good quality. There were no games played in all three years. Medical facilities are present.
Faculty: Not all teachers were helpful and knowledgeable, but some subjects were there in which teachers were good. Multimedia Technology engineering is not a curriculum-relevant course, and this field doesn't have that much industry in India. Exams were the worst thing we students faced in college, and 40% is the passing percentage.
Other: I chose this course because I had a very huge amount of interest in gaming and the VFX field. The best thing about the course was that it allowed us to get to know the media world very closely. The exam facility and projectors in classes should be positively needed. Otherwise, everything is quite good and simple.

our college has good facilities.
Placements: Placements are good. Our teacher mails us every time. Other teachers also provide us with jobs.
Infrastructure: Our hostel is very luxurious. It is clean. The caretaker's behaviour is very polite, and their system is very good. Many of our classmates are staying in the hostel. Two elevators have been constructed recently.
Faculty: Our faculty members are too good. They are friendly and helpful for our future. They give us notes as early as possible. The exam procedure is so clean.
Other: Our college has exuberance.

Our department of placement could have been much better.
Placements: About 50% of the students got jobs. Everyone has been given an average salary package of 1 LPA. Many people have gotten jobs as video editors or graphic designers. Many have hot jobs in big production houses such as SVF and Surinder Film.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. The college has a library, a Wi-Fi facility, classrooms, a canteen, etc. The conditions of the hostel are very good. The accommodation facilities and food facilities are very good. The hostel has rules and regulations, which are very good. The hostel has medical facilities.
Faculty: All teachers are very good and helpful. We would get help from the teacher if there were any problems, and they are very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. They explain everything to all the students very slowly, and their behaviour is also very good.
Other: I love animation, and I was also interested in the video editing part.

Review of Regional Institute of Printing Technology.
Placements: You can get a good scope in printing companies like Epson, HP, etc. You can also get field placement in photography and multimedia. You will gain practical field knowledge in those three streams. More than 20% of the students get placement in the printing field, but there is no relative placement in the other two streams. About 40% of the students from our course get an internship.
Infrastructure: The hostel is situated on the JU campus, and the environment is good for focusing on studies. The infrastructure of the hostel is average. You can get spacious rooms in a hostel, which are not so clean, but you can manage it according to a government college. You get a good environment for spending your years through your diploma course. There are many updated cameras for practical photography practice, and there are multiple digital labs for studying multimedia. There are modern labs equipped with modern printing machines. There is a Wi-Fi facility, but they do not provide a password.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful to you for your equivalent study and your practical experience regarding your study. They make students industry-ready in their study years. The semester exam is easy, and it depends on your study and how your willing power is.
