Review of Rosary College of Commerce and Arts.
Placements: Interested students can attend interviews. Companies mostly prefer IT vocational and science background students.
Infrastructure: Our college provides the required infrastructure. Wi-Fi facility is available in classrooms. There are 4 BCA labs and interactive screens in BCA classrooms. It consists of good-quality computers and coding software.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very good. Time table is not well planned. Main course teachers are experienced but the optional subject teachers change every time. All 6 semesters include value education lecture, which is sometimes boring. There are 2 commerce subjects in the first four semesters and Maths in the first year.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in working in the software industry. Our college is strict as it doesn't allow students to go out during college hours. Less events are organised in our college. There are 80 students in BCA. Our college offers limited seats.

Overall, college life is poor.
Placements: Very few students got placed in our course. Mostly, jobs related to sales are offered, which is not worth the 3 years of learning. The packages offered are about Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000. Top companies were furniture and asset management companies, and the roles offered are sales executive etc. About 1% of students in the course were placed.
Infrastructure: The access is restricted. The library facilities are the best in the college. However, other facilities like canteen, medical and sports are very poor. One would have to go out of the college to avail decent facilities. Internet facilities are extremely restrictive.
Faculty: Some teachers teach really well, but some are not up to the mark. Their teaching quality is for the sake of completion of the syllabus. They all have degrees, but the quality of teaching is poor. I feel that even if they just gave us notes, it would not have made any difference.
Other: I chose B.Com due to many reasons. I wish they changed the course to voluntary instead of running an iron-tight fortress. The campus is too small. Extracurricular activities are conducted, but the coaches are least bothered. I wish there were internships for all students as part of the compulsory course.

It has a good infrastructure, campus, and teachers.
Placements: The total strength of the class is around 60 students. Campus placements occur. The recruitment cell from our college informs us about the opportunities for TY students who are looking for a job. Very few students get an internship during the campus placement, or else we have to apply on our own.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good for BCA students. Proper
working computers are kept in the laboratory. There are air-conditioners in the computer lab. Wi-Fi facility is also provided. The library is good with a smart attendance system placed at the entrance, which records the digital attendance of the students and teachers who visit.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good and supportive. Teaching quality is good for some teachers, but some teachers are not helpful. Teachers teach through the use of digital screens and projectors in the classroom. The course curriculum does not make students 100% industry-ready. We have to struggle and learn on our own and keep practicing. Passing is easy in semester exams.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am very much interested in web technology like web designing and creating a website of my own. Many tech fests and competitions are being held in the college like NOESIS by BCA students.

Good college with a good infrastructure.
Placements: No placements, that will happen during the final year. But a lot of companies and hotels like digisol, Hyatt, Reliance come to our college for campus interviews and a lot of students get recruitment through that. My batch consists of 50 students as of this year.
Infrastructure: Rosary college of commerce and arts is a good college, We have campus Wi-Fi, A clean canteen, The teaching and non teaching staff are good too, there's a shop from where we can get essential necessary also the library is well-equipped. All in all a good college.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and polite, The college also has the smart screens to teach for some courses like BBA and BCA. The course curriculum is pretty relevant and can come handy in future at work place also student become industry ready depending on the way they carry themselves.
Other: There are a lot of fests such as canteen mela, Inspirus for the BBA department, Noises for the BCA department and lot more, The lack of example and a lot of rote learning is annoying.

The college provides all types of facilities and is excellent.
Placements: There are 60 students in the class. The highest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs.15,000 per month. Students got placed in Educational institutions, also got government jobs. Chattered accountant, business organisation, principal, etc., were the roles offered to students. The college also offers additional courses after two years of M.Com to become a teacher in RCCA.
Infrastructure: The college provides amenities like Wi-Fi, labs, classroom, library, seminar hall, smart board, smart TV, lightings, canteen, sports room. The quality is satisfying. The food available in the canteen is reasonable for anyone to buy it. Sports room is always opened for anyone to enter and play. Games like table tennis, volleyball, cricket, football, boxing, judo, cycling, athletics, taekwondo, etc., are available here.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. They can understand and make you understand if you didn't understand. They also help in solving the difficulties. The course curriculum is relevant, and it does make students industry-ready.
Other: I choose this course because I like commerce and the best thing about this course is the practical accounting problem, they are interesting.

Good disciplined college in Goa.
Placements: Placements were very good in our college, recruiters came to our college every year and every student had the chance or opportunity to go for the interview. All the stream students were allowed only if they wanted to apply. Most of the recruiters were from hotel industry and IT.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure very good including canteen, computer labs, activity room, restroom, Wi-Fi, classroom with projectors. Good parking space and very well maintained Rosary football ground. We had a sports room with well maintained gym equipments and other sports accessories.
Faculty: Teachers were well qualified, knowledgeable, conducted good psychological experiments, conducted psychology seminars. The Bachelor of Arts curriculum was definitely very good got overall knowledge. There are different specialisation offered such as English, psychology, history, Konkani, sociology and economic.
Other: I chose the B.A. course because I wanted to specialize in psychology. The fees were affordable, campus life was good. Rosary is a very well disciplined college in Goa.
