Rungta College of Science and Technology, Durg fee structure is designed to include both mandatory and optional components of fees. The components are common across all UG and PG courses. Rungta College of Science and Technology: the place you can be.

Placements: The placement of our college is quite good. The management and faculty members try their best to provide on-ground knowledge and prepare you for jobs and business. The highest package from our college is about 15 LPA, and the lowest is about 2 LPA. Every year, top recruiting companies visit, and the college management also strives to place students in various internship programs, including their own institution.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities in our college are quite well arranged according to the needs of the students staying there. I also stay in the same college hostel and am satisfied with it. The college provides a library and medical facilities to the students at no extra charge.

Faculty: The teachers at our college are among the best faculty members we could have. They are knowledgeable and very humble towards the students, always supporting us like their own children. The curriculum is relevant to the course, providing on-ground knowledge and making us industry-ready. Semester examinations are quite difficult, or I would say moderate, testing our knowledge and capabilities.

Other: I chose this course with proper planning because I have already made my plans regarding BBA and my future goals. One thing I think should improve in our course is more practical and on-field knowledge. The best part of our college is the fests and events, which are totally breathtaking and the best that a college can offer.

I am very satisfied with this college.

Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 11 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Amazon and Wipro. Around 80% of students got internships in this course. Top roles offered were HR, manager, team manager, and teacher. It was one of the best colleges in Bhilai.

Infrastructure: The facilities were excellent. Hostel facilities were very good. The food served in the mess is better. Canteen was available. Free Wi-Fi was available in this college. Bus facilities were very good. The fee structure was reasonable.

Faculty: All faculty members were qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was excellent. The passing percentage was 45%.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Our college provided in-depth knowledge to students. Events were conducted. Scholarships were provided to merit students.

Opt only if you want a degree, not placements.

Placements: Only 10 out of 100 students get placed with a good package, while others are placed with lesser amounts. The range of packages varies from 1.5 LPA to 5 LPA. The top recruiters include Asian Paints, Tata Motors, Globusoft, and Mahindra. The college does not provide any type of internship; we have to find them on our own, but they do allow proper time for internships.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are good and can accommodate 70-80 students. The washrooms are clean, but Wi-Fi is not available in the classrooms; you’ll get a connection in the canteen and library. Food is not a concern, as there is a canteen, cafeteria, and juice corners available nearby. In hostels, you’ll have Wi-Fi, mess, laundry, and rooms shared with four people, each with individual beds. Hostels are moderate but also expensive, so if you’re comfortable in a PG, it might be a better option. For sports enthusiasts, this college is not ideal, as they only organize a one-day league after the carnival, and nothing else happens.

Faculty: Only some teachers are qualified; the faculty changes every year, and the teaching style is average as they focus mostly on theory rather than individual development. However, some faculty members are experienced and have great teaching styles. BBA is not a course that will make you industry-ready at all; you can opt for internships to add value, as the college alone will not help you. Semester exams are moderate and can be somewhat difficult; you need to prepare well to score 65-70 grades.

Other: Events and fests are major attractions for students, including garba night, freshers, farewell, and celebrity night fests. You’ll definitely enjoy those, and if you have good friends in the hostel, you’ll have a great time.

Not satisfied with the college.

Placements: I was in the 2021 batch, the first year. The faculty members are changed and the standard of teaching is very low nowadays, teachers are more or less freshers in this course and don't provide proper understanding in the subject Zoology. Chemistry teacher for botany and biotechnology is good but for Zoology and Chemistry, experienced faculty members should be appointed. I don't know much about the package. There were very few students who wanted placements because almost everyone had other options or goals, yes we do get a good opportunity for internships, we went to Tata Tanishq Jewelry, Globusoft, and a few more.

Infrastructure: The classroom is okay. The labs have some of the things missing always. They don't have all the materials needed for the practicals in their labs. The food available in the canteen is pretty good, they have good options and the mess is also very good.

Faculty: Teachers or faculty members are not that experienced, more or less faculty members are freshers and are not with much experience. No proper understanding or explanation of the topics makes it very hard for us students to memorize them, the curriculum is relevant but doesn't make us industry-ready, exams are tough.

Other: The college lacks exposure to extracurricular activities like sports and coaching for the sports. They just organize poster making, rangoli making, mehendi, speech, etc. No proper understanding of the sports field is given. The teachers themselves don't know much about sports, excluding all this campus life is okay.

Don't have high hopes regarding a fun student life

Placements: We were promised to get a placement while searching for college and you might also fall in that trap of 3LPA placement but the truth is that there is no placement available for BA students so don't have high hopes. Although There could be placements available for students of other department but as always nothing for BA students.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is Average modern architecture with class rooms like you had in your school, no difference there. Canteen have pretty good outlet though. With a seprate area for snacks and drinks and students to hang out. Apart from the activities college conducts on carnival there's nothing much in Extra curricular activities and sports.

Faculty: Teachers and staff is really helpful and qualified, although what my batch faced were not elaborative enough. The course currculum is relevant to pursue masters and further education but the collage and teachers does not makes the students industry ready. Semester exams are not difficult and easy to pass out.

Other: I chose this course to pursue my bachelor's degree in arts as it fits with my accordance and preferences regarding future plans of leading an Literate and Acedemic life.
